Classic Canton in Sandwell

Decided to try after being told by my son that this was his favourite Chinese takeaway! Very clean and gentleman was very polite and welcoming. Had special curry, fried rice and salt and chilli chicken. Hit and fresh and very nice will visit here again 😀

I wish I could mark higher. I’m so fussy to the point I haven’t ordered a Chinese in years. I ordered for collection spoke to the most loveliest man! Ready on time piping hot food! So clean inside, smells amazing also! Will order again and again! ❤️ I would have posted a photo if I never ate it as quick as I did!!

Order around twice a week, food always tastes great, fast and friendly delivery and lovely man taking phone order. Would definitely recommend 😊

Before they moved shop i used too love getting me order in food was great and prices was to then but since them moving shop prices as risen and food is a hit or miss some days it be nice next time you go like not been freshley prepared and all price have gone up by ectra £2 _ £3 pound its adds up on this case my days using canton are done

This has got to be the best Chinese in the area. The food is top quality and they can't cram any more in the tubs. I really don't understand some of the reviews on here. Now I've found this place I won't be going anywhere else. Highly recommended

Lovely food with efficient service

I usually use king wah house up road… But it’s close due to unforeseen circumstances (nothing to do with food) So I used classic canton which was very nice and ingredients to a very good standard also portions are also well above average for a fair price If you can tell any quality in Chinese food you will love this place. Phone answers quick and delivery was fast. Thanks classic canton 👍🏼

Used this place for 10 years and always been decent ...... but ordered from here tonight and they said 45 mins so a hour later I phone back up and they say we only have one driver your orders not even been done yet ....... why didn't you tell me this in the 1st place ? Think its time to find another Chinese place ..... shocking

Firstly was told I could pay by card at the door when meal delivered that wasn't the case. Secondly chicken chowmein like rubber no sauce very bland. Egg fried rice again like rubber and very dry. Bbq ribs n chicken balls were nice the sweet n sour sauce was more like hot n sour as quite bitter. This was our first time using this place as just moved to the area. Will definitely not be ordering from here again. I have kids that will eat anything and even they couldn't eat it. O lying left one star just so I could review other wise there wouldn't be any. Only thing OK was the delivery driver very pleasant and well mannered

Ordered for the first time , portion size was good but absolutely no flavour and bland , I had a Singapore chowmain which had no spice and a chicken curry that was like water and no taste , I wont be ordering again.

Very pricey for poor quality and hardly any flavour. Absolutely nothing about this food is Classic Cantonese, wouldn't go again.

I ordered a delivery at 6 o clock and cancelled it at 8 due to no show

Terrible experience, we called at 18.15 on new years eve to order a delivery chinese and was told 45 mins to an hour, which was reasonable. An hour and a half later I called to be told it would be a further 30 minutes. My wife called 15 minutes later as she was very unhappy and the girl who answered the phone was saying it would still be 30 minutes minimum, I asked about collecting it and was given no confidence it would be ready in 15 minutes if I collected it so we cancelled. It was obvious that they had taken online orders and we had been forgotten about!!! The girl did not care and was relieved when we cancelled the order. We will not be trying them again!

I work for NHS had a really bad day ordered Chinese and its 10/10 said was 45 minute wait but came within half an hour THANK YOUX

Very nice food, very good portions but they should add more vegetables.

Really rude staff on telephone cold food when delivered items missing tasteless bland food phoned too complain girl just laughed won't be using again a shame as having been using for over 10years but a total waste of 40 pound

Terrible service! Got our order wrong and included mushrooms which my wife is allergic to. Rang to ask them to change and they offered to put it right next time!!! Don't take card payments anymore either which makes you wonder what is happening!!

Not much to say really just everything was very bland. Won't be returning.

Food is ok considering the terrible Chinese in the area. We come 2/3 Times a month and last time got our order wrong. Being regular we didn't make a fuss and mentioned it on the next visit which my partner had dropped his money before getting in the van and was£2 short and after having money last time on incorrect starters us they didn't have the courtesy to hand over any of the order. Won't be coming again. Service lately is terrible and this has just topped it off.

Chicken curry disgusting! Ordered Cantonese sweet&sour prawns. Got tempura rubber prawns instead.

We have used Classic Canton for years. The food is amazing and the service is brill. You will not find a better takeaway! They do get really busy over the weekend but they never let us down (even delivered to us in the snow!) We love you Classic Canton!!

Meal for 4 was great. Went back & tried the meal for two. Just as good. Would highly recomend. On holiday & looking forward to trying another great meal before returning home to the south coast.

Best Chinese in the area by far , fast delivery

Would not bother even waisting your credit or minuites on this place customer service is terrible no manners at all was waiting over 2 hours for a few things and still didnt turn up.. dont even waste your breath on the place rude people aint the word..... AVIOD!!!!!!!!!

Massive food portions.. excellent value for money and great tasting food..what more could I ask for... oh yeah, super fast delivery. Only let down was, extremely rude lady at the till.. she don't know how to speak English!

Tried the Classic Canton twice. First time i found the Beef Curry too runny and watery. Second time to be fair the Chow Mein was nice. Unfortunately i find Hans down the road much nicer.

By far the best Chinese takeaway in the area, recommend the Chicken Balls!

First time of using, it won't be the last. Fast efficient, pleasant service, and mouth watering food, can't ask for more than that.
