Civerinos Slice - West Slice in Waltham Forest

The pizza was very good and the slices were very large. They also have vegan pizza. The thing I didn't like was that the music was too loid inside where you could not talk. The service was quick and the server was nice.

Ordered in store to takeaway. Slice each which was good portion alongside a portion of chips. Not the warmest to be honest which was disappointing but was tasty nonetheless!

We ordered two 14" pizzas from this dump. They came very undercooked stodgy, crust fell off the base and very premature. I contacted them to be told there was no manager on that night. Not even a replacement offered.

The pizza is normally good but my last visit was completely disappointing. I ordered 2 pizzas for collection and got given a collection time of 20 minutes. Just as I arrived, 10 mins later I got an email saying the pizzas would be ready 33 minutes. It was a really long time to wait when the shop clearly wasn’t busy. I then got my chips which were cold and half the size of the portion I had got the time before. They also forgot the dip that went with the chips. It will make me think twice before I order again.

Before I talk food, the gent who resolved the situ was great and sorted it quick style. But The food was shocking. I have been to Civ’s loads and never, ever had anything like this. The chips were that cold and stale they were stuck together ( see the picture, that’s a pile stuck together out the box). The pizza was anaemic! Like, what is that about! Called up, explained, no hassle and refund straight away. This is why I gave 2 stars and not 1! Sorry, hate to be the bearer 🙈

Pizza came warm, as if it had been left sitting for 10 minutes before being put in the box. Cheese congealed, pepperoni was rubbery and crusts were soft. Didn’t seem like it had been cooked properly. Really disappointing experience for the amount of money paid.

From the funky tunes blasting out on Friday lunchtime to the cool decor the first impression was very good. Friendly staff helped with picking our choices and very very flexible with the menu. Waiting time was totally fine for a freshly made pizza of very high quality. Wings were also a lovely side and a cold beer went down well in the heatwave. Perfect posh pizza.

I have had Pizza from Civerinos in Forrest road many times so was looking forward to Civerinos West opening in Corstorphine . But what a disappointment. First time I ordered I had to wait 1hr and 15 minutes for my collection time then still had to stand outside the store for a further 30 minutes. Second time was roughly the same so third time thought I would call early so I would not have to wait outside as usual.Called the shop at 15:22 and ordered 2 large pizza's & 1 chips and arranged to collect my order at 18:30 and guess what even worse than the 2 previous times . They had obviously lost the order but did not bother to say that to me so stood outside the shop for 40 minutes this time and to cap it all they forgot to give me my chips so had to wait on them. I will be thinking long and hard about whether to go back. A real pity that the service is so poor as the Pizza is good but I will probably go back to ordering from Forrest Rod as it will be quicker than going down the road

Our second visit to Civerinos, and the pizza was just a delicious as before. The only down side is lack of veggie options which are primarily variations of cheese and tomato. If the creativity put into the other toppings (which sound fantastic) could be shared on the veggie side this place would be winning!

I’ve had Civerinos pizza at the High Dive and it was really good. West slice is fairly newly opened so I thought I’d try it out. Unfortunately I found the pizza under cooked, cheese was only just melted and the base was very soft pale and floppy. Compared to images on the west slice app, my pizza definitely looks less well cooked. A little disappointing considering I’ve had better experiences with Civerinos pizza before.
