City Garden Cafe in Trafford

We regularly visit this lovely family run cafe - food is fabulous - so fresh and great value for money, service is exceptional and we were so well looked after. Lovely space out at the back if you want to sit outside. We had a lovely welcome from the staff and nothing was too much trouble. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend and will definiely be back!

This cafe is a wonderful place to have a quiet drink and some lunch, as the food is great! The food is Greek, which makes it so much better!! Service is excellent and the owner is so helpful to his customers. Would definitely recommend.

We had a meal in here today 5/10/2019 and we have no complaints at all. The food was full of taste and great value for money. A lovely place of calm and relaxation in the hustle and bustle of Altrincham town centre. The owner is so friendly and helpful in explaining the menu. All the staff where pleasant and polite and it seems such a happy workforce. My wife had the English breakfast which was cooked to perfection and I had Chicken Skewer, which was full of taste. This was our first visit but will not be our last. We hope that this business does really well and prospers as they are trying to provide great value for money plus wonderfully cooked food. Well done to them all.

Pleasantly surprised today to find this cafe has a new owner Lasik who has taken it to a new level. Friendly welcome, nothing too much trouble. We had the Ham and cheese panini and the Tuna melt panini. I have never had a Tuna metl panini as nice and full of flavours as this. My Mum enjoyed her Ham and cheese one and normally leaves half but couldn't stop eating it. Quirky interior and teally pleasant place to eat. The cafe doesn't stand out because it's within a shared shop space, but it's well worth recommending. Wishing the new owner Lasik and his staff a long and happy reign.

First visit today, it won’t be the last! Gorgeous meal which was all freshly cooked with quality ingredients. You can just tell...... The owner, a friendly chatty guy from Corfu could not be more helpful, and checked back a couple of times that everything was good with the meal. It was! My Wife and I would definitely recommend a visit. Great meal ( and HOT lattes), look forward to the Gyros when this lovely cafe is more established and full all the time, as it deserves to be!

I love this place and their new Greek menu is sooo good ! The food is authentic Greek , value for money and far better than most Greek restaurants in Altrincham and Manchester ! Highly recommended , you will not regret it !

Wandered into the old post office in Altrincham for breakfast/brunch with my daughter. It has now changed hands ; and well worth a visit. The food and service are excellent - the omelettes are really tasty. Unpretentious simple, fresh quality food that is very good and staff are friendly and attentive. Definitely will be back.

In the old post office building on Stamford New Road in Altrincham this cafe served us a great lunch, food was freshly cooked and tasty and the service was prompt and friendly. On a warm day there is a lovely courtyard where you can sit outside. Less hectic than some of the other cafes - would recommend.

Lovely family business going all out to provide an excellent service. Very good coffee with hit milk. Omlette to die for, and spinach as an extra! My favourite!

This is quita a little gem in the heart of Altrincham located at The Old Post Rooms. Lovely friendly staff and amazingly tasty food. The place has a really relaxed atmosphere with great service and attention to detail. The coffee is probably one of the best in the area. Cosy seating areas with a variety of different tables, chairs and sofas. Definitely worth a try.

Situated in the old post rooms of Altrincham this place is a real gem. A cafe of very unique aesthetic that serves very well made coffee and great fresh food at very good prices. Very different to other cafes in the area and the service is very warm and fast. I can not recommend this place highly enough

Situated in the ‘old postrooms’ building, this cafe has to be one of the very best places in altrincham to go to if you are looking for excellent quality food with service that matches. It’s such a refreshing change from other places. the attention to detail, friendly attentive approach, excellent customer service and delicious food is what sets this cafe apart from all others in Altrincham. I highly recommend City Garden Cafe and I will most definitely be going back for more of what it has to offer.

Nice quiet cafe with fresh homemade style food and staff that spend the time to make sure the guest is happy with their food and service. The owner is very passionate about his food and that he gets the best ingredients, even down to the tealeaves they use. I would recommend the chocolate orange cake as it's moist and not too rich,perfect flavours. He's a real gentleman. Best wishes for your new business from June and Wendy x
