Not Kate but her fella. Don't do reviewing, but this was a bit special. It's always a case of the low key places do the best. I had a lamb sagg jalfrase. I know curries, have eaten a few, this was right there with the best. Friendly chilled hosts. Spot on.

A beautiful meal. We are staying on a local camp-site, and came for an Indian after a long walk. Fantastic service and second to none food. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Will definitely visit again if ever this way.

Small but fantastic Indian restaurant in Silverdale on the edge of the Lake District. Great atmosphere and the food is amazing. Excellent value for money. BYOB and you absolutely have to make a reservation. Cash only too, but the shop next door does have a handy ATM!

Great meal with lots of choice on the menu. We were very impressed with the taste and they were extremely accommodating, especially for my mum who has mobility issues. Good value for money too! I highly recommend.

The food was fine however the experience was very annoying. When we walked in we were greeted with “have you booked”? We were worried as it’s the only place to eat in Silverdale and gratefully took the last, and worst, table situated under the stairs beside the warming cooker. Two couples arrived after us and with no booking were merely given better seats with no questions asked. All evening there were 16 seats spare and when we left I asked if he was expecting a rush afterwards. He said that was all the people that would eat tonight as it was only busy on bank holidays. I left full but annoyed and insulted, never to return.

Great restaurant. Amazing food. Good price. Took our own drink and cash only. Nice friendly staff.

The food was way above the "average" Indian restaurant. A fine selection of specials and ordinaries on the menu, but our choices were all very good. Cash only (from a little machine in the Coop next door) no bar, so bring your own drinks (from the fridge in the Coop next door), toilet facilities involve a walk outside (not to the Coop). Prices are very reasonable. Book to avoid disappointment (over the phone). Easy parking on the street.

We visited Cinnamon for a meal whilst staying at Holgates holiday park (1mile away) and booked a table for 6. It’s quite a small place so booking definitely recommended I would say probably 8-10 tables. The toilet is actually outside of the restaurant but to my surprise it was exceptionally clean so no issue for us. They don’t serve alcohol so you are allowed to take your own and just pay for soft drinks. We had poppadoms, 3 starters, 4 curries, 2 naan bread, 2 rice and 1 chips and it all came to less than £80. Absolutely fantastic value and every dish tasted amazing and unique. If your in silverdale and want a curry, I can highly recommend this place. We’ll done to all the team at Cinnamon. Other thing to note is parking is at a premium so set off a little earlier to get a space without rushing. They were also very busy with takeaways as well.

Came to silverdale for the weekend and found this gem of a place..food was amazing and the staff were so helpful attention to detail was brilliant..recommend to anyone who loves a good curry

A hidden gem! Lovely quirky building, very clean and tidy. The staff were on point and the food was one of the best Indians we have had for ages ( and we have loads of Indian restaurants near where we live) As. Gluten free vegetarian I was not disappointed with the options, which is usually the case in a rural restaurant. Their knowledge on allergies, vegan and vegetarian food was top notch. They adapted anything I wanted on the menu to suit my dietary requirements. The co-op next door was an added bonus as we were able to take in our own wine and beer. 5 stars, we will be back again soon.

When eating out in the evening, this is our No 1 choice. Great food. Good atmosphere around other diners. And competitively priced. Thoroughly enjoyed our meals.

Chips awful, really! Passanda and Tikka Masala watery! Starters were good - thank you. Pilau rice bland. Have had great meals from here previously but tonight was disappointing. Total cost £75 for 4.

We ordered a vegetable bhuna which was tasteless, the rice was bland, butter chicken was in what tasted like coconut sauce, the onion bhaji was so dry. The poppadom was good though and the service was good. It’s a shame as this could be an amazing takeaway but the food let it down!

Well Silverdale isn't very big so I was surprised to find an Indian restaurant here. It is though one of the very best I've been too. The food is superb and the staff are very helpful. Word of advice. Book in advance. I'm not the only one who thinks it brilliant.

Cash only place don't agree with that but, staff very nice and the food is always good shame they don't have an alcohol license but it's a change not to pay £22 for a bottle of wine and £6.00 for a pint of cobra, the restaurant is small and cosy, very nice experience all round.

Curries of varying spiciness, both waiter are very helpful and friendly. Offered lots of choices to accommodate my 2yo as well. My boy enjoyed the lamb chops, tandoori chicken and cheese naan. It's a small restaurant but was full when we went on Sunday night, service was fairly quick. Doesn't serve alcohol but allow to bring your own or buy from next door coop, didn't bother us as we are there for the food!! Very satisfying meal.

An absolute gem in Silverdale, never had and indian meal like it! Everything was so fresh & delicious, the staff are all super friendly and attentive before, during & after your meal(s) We are already talking about coming back again for a big family celebration later in the year. You need to try this place!

Recommended to us and did not disappoint. Cash only take your own alcohol. Popadoms and pickle tray, mixed starter, Jalfrezi hot and spicy, biryani perfect. All good.

Lovely meal but toilets outside!

Got to be one of the best Indians about. Shame we only stay at Silverdale for the winter but try and go as much as possible when nere. Always spot on well presented and super tasty. BYOB too with a Co-op next door. Cash only which is a pain however there is a co-op next door but I have forgot by debit card a couple of times.

The food was outstanding, generous portions, fresh fish and vegetables, tasty meat. Just wonderful. Great service too. I wish it was in my home town !

My wife and I are stopping at Holgates Caravan Park in Silverdale and had the Cinnamon Spice Restaurant recommended to us by a fellow camper !, We decided to give it a try on 8th September , we were not disappointed , the food was fresh and very tasty , the staff very friendly and the prices were what you would expect these days , the naan breads were to die for ! , We will definitely be visiting again the next time we are back in Silverdale

There's only one takeaway /restaurant in Silverdale so good job it's a nice Indian place. Really nice food and good service, I had a takeaway but restaurant looked cosy and clean. It's bring your own booze (co-op next door) also 20% if ordering over £15 which is pretty good. Will definitely try again when visiting this lovely part of the world. Thanks guys. Just returned from a great weekend in Silverdale, what made it even better was finding Cinnamon Spice. Fantastic service, excellent food, the best onion bhajis we’ve ever had. It was so good, that we went again on our 2nd night and had a takeaway, can’t wait to return 🙂

A top notch "Indian" restaurant, we love it here as staff are really nice and accommodating. Get drinks next door at the Co-op (until 10pm). You need cash to pay the restaurant and Co-op machine is apparently limiting amounts and expensive.

Just had an amazing time at this restaurant, staff were very attentive and respectful. The food was plentiful and flavorsum, took in some tins and even got offered some ice ... bonus, all in all the new local when we are in town.

The only place open for food after 9pm in between 4 villages. So happy they were open, food very tasty, staff very friendly!

Visited on a Saturday night when camping in the village. Pleasantly surprised to find a quality Indian restaurant in such a small village. Food was delicious and the staff were accommodating for my being a fussy vegetarian by making a paneer Madras for me. There's no alcohol licence but you can take your own drinks and there is a Co-op next door, which also has a cash machine. The staff were friendly and helpful. I'm giving 4 stars rather than 5 because, surprisingly, this restaurant does not accept payment by card and is cash only.

For a small village to maintain a quality Indian restaurant is amazing. Probably due to the fact that the food was of a good quality, the service was spot on and the cleanliness was impeccable.

Very rude staff and management, i simply entered the restaurant to asked if people with allergies were catered for or was there anything they could advise me on and was rudely told no they don’t want anyone in the restaurant with allergies as they have been in the top 10 restaurants for a silly award locally, so don’t want to be sued and loose there title. what a thing to say to someone who is new to the local area and looking forward to using the local business. Anyone i meet in future will be told to stay well clear so thats gone well for your awards 👍💥

Ordered a takeaway tonight the three main courses were mainly excellent apart from the onions in the Dupiaza which were undercooked for my taste. We ordered 2 pickle trays and received 6 mint, 1 onion, 1 pickle and 1 mango? The popadoms were also disappointing.

Nice place for dining, good service, if looking for spicy food please do ask for asian style spicy otherwise it will be mild or sweet. Enjoyed the evening with family.

Great little restaurant in Arnside Taken here by our friends who use regularly Lovely feel to the place Everything that was served tasted fresh Best Peshwari Naan ive ever had. Highly recommend if your in tjat area. Remember its cash only but a Co Op next door with a cash machine Enjoy

Nice food, but not the best. It was obviously freshly prepared, and I accept it is very much about personal taste. It was unexpected in such a small village.

Small Indian restaurant staff very quick and efficient good menu range, and the food is always tasty, we like the milder curries spicy not hot, and you can bring your own alcohol they have soft drinks.

Very interesting little Indian. You can take your own drinks and the food is tasty, service is quick and staff are friendly. Worth a visit. Currently appear to be doing 2 sittings on Saturday nights, not sure if that is just for Covid or the usual way they manage tables. Not overboard on the Covid precautions but worth a visit.

Absolute gem! We are Morecambe locals that got let down by another curry house and ended up here as they squeezed us in on a fully booked night. We are three vegans and one pescatarian and every dish we had was incredible. The garlic mushrooms for starters was the winner for the first course. The tarka dahl was to die for, as was the mushroom and saag bahjee. The vegetable birayani was the best my mum has ever had anywhere in the world and the madras and jalfrezi (the men’s meals) were faultless. The guy that served us couldn’t do enough to make sure we were all happy with our orders. The food had barely any oil at all, unlike a lot of curry houses and they have definitely made customers for life. Thank you.

Poor quality - nice enough chaps but this was a very poor quality meal... overpriced and disappointing.

Small but perfectly formed. Food was as good as I have had in an indian restaurant in the UK. Very tasty, great breads and nice starters interesting selection of curries and the ones we chose were excellent. Good portion size that doesn't overface you but fills up nicely. Bring your own facility was nice too with the coop next door having plenty of chilled drinks.

This eatery deserves more than 5 stars. Spotlessly clean with friendly and well paced service, plus the prettily presented food is just perfect. From poppadoms and chutneys, to veg, fish and meat starters, through to the most flavoursome of curries, this is food that makes people happy. Portions are large but light. And the naan bread must get a special mention as it is out of this world. We nearly ate the table too at the weekend. Thanks guys, see you yet again next summer or maybe before if we're lucky.

Went to this restaurant on a Sunday evening. Me and my husband ordered 2 vegetarian dishes and chappatis. Neither dish had any flavour and the dahl tasted watered down.The chappatis were also stodgy. Would not recommend.

We are currently on a little break and decided to go for tea at this place as me and my husband visited when on our honeymoon in 2018! I originally booked a table for 3 people and said we would have a baby with us and asked if there was any high chairs, high chairs wasn’t available so I said it’s okay I’ll bring the pram in. We arrived for our slotted time to then be told our table was booked but it was up a flight of stairs! My mother in law is disabled and can not climb a flight of stairs and we also said on the phone when booking we would have a pram! How do they expect a disabled woman to climb up a flight of stairs and carry a pram up??? so they offered us a takeaway. There was no room to be sat downstairs as other customers were booked in! Really they should of put the other customers upstairs if they wasn’t disabled obviously and let us have the table downstairs! This resulted in us leaving very disappointed! We left with out eating or getting a takeaway! Appalling customer service!!!! Will not be returning ever again!

Food very disappointing no spice at all in the curry, just tasted like a tin of tomatoes. Had better boil in the bag. Would not be going again.

Chicken tikka masala tasted like a tin of tomato soup, chicken, desiccated coconut and spices. The fish curry had plenty of fish but spoilt by cheap frozen mixed veg. Onion bhaji was good

My partner & I visited Silverdale over the weekend & was recommended a take away from Cinnamon Spice. We decided as we were on a mini break we'd actually book a table. The best decision we made!! The food was absolutely delicious but what made our visit was the customer service. The standard was high class!! Started off as soon as we walked in. The manager realised I was pregnant & straight away offered us a bigger table, out front where it wouldn't be too hot. They were all super attentive to us, getting our drinks straight away, helpful with any questions relating to menu, checked our food was ok. When we left we were even wished good luck with the baby. All in all 100% the best Indian & to be honest, restaurant we have visited. Made our holiday!
