Christopher’s in Great Yarmouth

First time visit. Quiet as off season. Service was excellent, polite and fast. The staff are lovely and friendly. There was a lovely well behaved dog inside, which was nice to see they welcome . The food was delicious. Will go again.prices are fair too. Lovely atmosphere.

A lovely welcoming restaurant. The food was tasty and had definitely been freshly cooked. Very reasonable prices (on writing, just under £9 for ham, eggs, chips and peas). Staff were absolutely lovely. Will return 🙂

This is a true little gem of Yarmouth, feels more like a bistro than a cafe and far exceeding yarmouths expected level of cuisine. Perfectly located by the pier so no excuses for the same old fish and chips over and over down the sea front. Little lad really likes it here. Great spot for a scone and tea while watching the usual gaggle of tourists along the sea front. Great spot, great food and very reasonably priced.

Had a very enjoyable and tasty meal here. Good price. Friendly staff.

Lovely place. We originally ordered two cream teas. Then we saw the menu and also ordered the Bacon, brie and cranberry pannini. It was all very nice and the service was quick. It had a Friendly atmosphere considering its the end of Nov, cold and wet outside. I would recommend to anyone.😊😊😊😊

The portions are disappointingly small. It tasted good, but at £12.50 per dish it was poor value for money.

I would highly recommend visit Christopher’s for breakfast. Not bias with the same name as me but for their exceptional customer service, making my family feel welcomed. They ensured we were all served and attended to, served food all at the same time for 6 of us and the food was just delicious with everyone clearing their plates. If ever asked where to go for breakfast in Yarmouth, I would say this place in a heartbeat. Thank you for your great service and look forward to returning soon :)

Whenever we're staying in Great Yarmouth we will always go here for the lovely breakfasts . So reasonably priced & staff are lovely.

Brilliant place one of the few dog friendly places in main Great Yarmouth. Loved our visit here food lovely they even have a dog friendly menu .

Oh..staff very friendly..food excellent can't complain yet no need to..you order food,they bring it to you..seem's dog friendly too..ordered toasted tea cakes..got them well done as they should be..then ordered apple pie and custard..PROPER custard aswell not the watery type either..and a fair chunk of apple pie too..excellent..will be going back anyway..would recommend..can't add photos as I forgot to take them..but go in and judge for yourselves.

Really enjoyed the atmosphere and food. When we visited Yarmouth last year, this was the first eatery we went in. Decided to make 2 more visits this year.

Love going here as a little stop off for either food or drinks. And they cater for dogs too .. nice touch

We were visiting Great Yarmouth today and wanted to go out for Breakfast. My 15 year old Daughter had multiple allergies and I am a ceoliac. The young lady who served us for 7 people with two allergy orders was amazing and reassured us how everyhing is made and handled. The Breakfast arrived and it was perfect, absolutely delicious and to have all 7 orders ready at the same time. Thank you so much. Xxx

Really good food. Even catered for gluten free /vegetarian. Many options too.

Me and my partner walked in to use the toilet, we didn’t notice that their was a sign on the door saying only for customers only using the toilet. One of the waitresses very rudely said “are you sitting outside” we said no we are not, she then said again very rudely, “well did you not see the sign on the door” so we just walked out, not causing any hassle. Absolutely rude, bad service!!

When we got the this restaurant I instantly saw children 4 and 13 (maybe) this was at about 5:30pm! We sat down and the staff came over and said”No children allowed after 5:00pm” it was awkward as I looked over to the children beside us but we politely left!. We found tue staff rude,very abrupt! Hope this comment helps!

Lovely home cooked food, great for accommodating dairy-free and gluten-free. Good value too.

Had breakfast there my only fault with it was that they could have shown the bread to the toaster.

Came here for lunch when on holiday. I have a brie and bacon panini, the bacon was abit fatty but the melted brie was delicious. They kindly let us shut the door as it was abit chilly. The wait for the food was slightly longer than we'd like but they were quite busy. The restaurant is fully accessible with an accessible toilet too. Lovely spot for lunch.

I had a sausage roll and a slice of carrot cake they both tasted amazing. I definitely recommend to go here if you want somewhere to grab a bite to eat the food will not disappoint.

Waited a while for jacket potato , jacket was nice , but my husband had a panini with bacon which was actually just bacon never before have we had a panini with no cheese , cheese is the first ingredient in any panini so this was very poor

45 mins seems a long wait for all day nothing special breakfast it’s all day every day so should no what’s what and be ready The lady in front of me was served then me no other customer behind me and instead of serving me then getting more plates deemed that more important and left me standing

Every year we visit Great yarmouth and every year we visit Christopher's at least once. The facilities are clean and fresh the decor is comfortable and inviting. The food is reasonably priced and of a decent quality. My favourite thing is how helpful and accommodating the staff are. My daughter has difficult dietary requirements and no request seems to difficult.

This place is very well worth a visit food is absolutely amazing & the staff are so so friendly makes you feel at home

Service was good especially young girl at till who checked every cup and piece of cutlery before putting on tray, very efficient and pleasant, an asset to the business.

Ordered a latte, while out breakfast was cooked. 1 bitter latte later & 26 minutes our food arrived even though there was only a table of 4 waiting before us. If they reckon their Cumberland sausages then Cumberland must have moved, they were horrible tasting fatty things. The rest of the food was mediocre to say the least, but the bottom of the egg would be good for catching fish in (net). This establishment is not fit to regard itself as a good restaurant / eateri. I will never come back here for anything & I advise others to avoid it as well, go somewhere else, it couldn't be any worse. As we left other people asked us how long the food had taken as they had been waiting longer than us. AVOID

We stopped in for a bit of breakfast and it was positively delicious. Eggs perfect. Sausage lush. Bacon lovely. Even the beans were spot on! Quick and friendly service. Loved to see it was dog friendly. Came back another day for the fist-sized French fancies. Gorgeous! Such a lovely place! Will be back soon for another lush breakfast.

Stopped here for a quick bite with my partner thought it looked authentic from the outside and inside at first glance how ever when we walked in everyone turned their heads and stared like it was a “local place for local people” when we ordered no one asked me for allergies I have quite a few luckily not too severe. The waitress that we ordered with was very rude she asked us where we were sitting. We hadn’t been seated at a table so I suggested any empty table will do just fine, I then pointed at a table and the waitress said in a very rude way “you can’t sit there can you not see it’s already taken” I told her that we would sit outside and asked if the food could be brought out to us. When we went to sit outside the tables where a mess non of them had been cleared understandably it was quite busy how ever why continue to serve people if you don’t have the capacity to seat them? We were sat outside for quite a wile thinking they may have forgotten about us so I went back inside to ask how long the food would be I asked a different waitress and she shrugged her shoulders at me and walked away. The food was actually quite nice I have no complaints about that but overall the experience that we had wasn’t great at all staff where rude and atmosphere was bad 2/10 and that’s just for the food

This is a fantastic cafe! We stopped here as it was dog friendly! Love that they offer a dog menu. Our dog loved the sausages in gravy! Our breakfast was really nice too. All fresh and tasty. The staff were very friendly and helpful and made plenty of fuss over our dog (which he loved). We will be back again when we are in the area!

Had a lovely lunch at Christophers today. Service was great, food was excellent, we had the 5 bean chilli and Vegetarian lasagne, both were delicious, good portions and hot. Highly recommend.

Lovely restaurant great selection of food and its always cooked to perfection.

The sauté potatoes are homemade, black pudding was thick, sausages seem lovely and service is friendly and decent. I'd recommend this place for a good breakfast. And they allow dogs. Winner Winner!

Typical British cafe at the start of the main shopping street. Food is ok but I would avoid the coffee. Tea was great with the scones

Worst place for a egg mayo sarnie, u can't get it wrong , but my god this place did , I had a mayonnaise sandwich it was awful , dry stale bread no egg , rude staff . Could be so good but it's so bad !

My wife gave the Vegan breakfast 10/10. I had fish ,chips and peas which was tasty and filling. Food was hot and cooked to perfection!! Will definitely go there again.

We went to Great Yarmouth we tried a few places to eat they was ok then we seen this place we thought it was a pub but it was not it was a nice little restaurant and you have to wait a long time for food as it’s cooked fresh and it was well worth the wait best burgers we have ever had and we could not eat anymore when done my kids did not want a puddings because they was so full great price great service

Fabulous restaurant opened all day where to have something to eat. Really big with lots of tables and great service.

This place is fantastic we were a large group looking for somewhere to eat and tried this place and glad we did. Menu is laid out nicely with restrictions marked clearly, portion size is huge and priced at a reasonable level. The place itself is quite big and well tables spread out nicely so your not crammed in on top of each other. Kids menu is great. Staff are really welcoming and friendly, I didn't catch her name but we were served by a young blonde girl who was brilliant and an asset to the establishment. Would recommend to anyone looking for a nice place to eat

On our last day of our holiday we decided to have breakfast away from the hotel. I'm glad we did what a fantastic breakfast it was to and the hot chocolate is to die for. All in all great experience. Highly recommended. Well done

This place is always advertising how gluten free friendly they are. Thought we would finally try it today to find out that they had not one single gluten free cake. Very disappointed

We were a ljnbit disappointed when we found the one by Wellington pier was closed but had a wonderful meal in the one opposite yhe Britannia pier. Anyone would find this well worth a visit.

Lovely old seafront cafe / bar / restaurant bang opposite the pier . Perfect refuge from the hustle and bustle of the town with a cup of tea panini or cake .

Wonderful service, the lady was absolutely fantastic with my Staffy and we had such a warm welcome. Genuine pleasure to be here. Tidy, nicely decorated place with a good stream of customers. Food was prompt, hot, and tasty. Couldn’t recommend enough!

Was greeted by a very smiley friendly waitress today (Sunday) who immediately cleaned the table near the window and suggested that table for us. Food was excellent after only a short wait and nothing was too much trouble as the food was brought. She made suggestions for condiments which was lovely. Food was absolutely delicious. Will definitely be back.
