Choklet in Cornwall, Isles of Scilly

Superb little gem of a cocktail bar in the beautiful town of Looe. Alison & Adam are great, friendly and welcoming, and produce an excellent selection of delicious cocktails and side dishes of meats, cheeses, and of course chocolate! I cannot recommend this place highly enough, although do book in advance if you can as it's often full!

We popped in one day for a cocktail, before heading across the road to Juju's for dinner. It was so good, we returned after dinner, and then again twice during our stay in Looe. The décor is beautiful, the owners are friendly, interesting and welcoming without encroaching on your evening. And the drinks are DIVINE! It is probably the best espresso martinis I have ever had and I have a very high bar. The chocolate pina colada (Choklet Colada) was very good too. My hubby was very complimentary of his negronis. We will recommend to anyone who visits. It isn't cheap, but the quality of the ingredients, glassware and the beautiful space explain all that.

Alison has created a lovely warm and welcoming place to enjoy a pre-dinner cocktail. (She also offers food but we didn’t indulge!). Her friendly approach and love of what she’s doing makes this one to visit!

We love this cocktail bar in Looe. The owners are very welcoming and we enjoy the range of cocktails, and I love the chocolate touches. They sell a great range of quality craft chocolate too.

This place is amazing, very funky, cool Ibiza vibes with an amazing selection of mocktails and cocktails and delicious charcuterie food boards. Very friendly staff who are super knowledgable and great service. Will definitely be back!

We wanted somewhere as a couple to have a drink in a nice chilled atmosphere. Choklet did not disappoint. Looe is full of pubs, not all of them particularly nice. But this place is fantastic. A great selection of drinks, fabulous ambience and the cheeky addition of chocolate if you want it. We went for the trip of nuts with our drinks. Highly recommended if you want a decent, classy place to have a drink!

Lovely place to have cocktails and decent beers. Very chilled ambience. Very impressive cocktail list and even does some light bites (although we had a dinner reservation so didn’t try these). Next time!

What a place!!! So excited to come down this year and find this has opened. Drinks are amazing (so many different cocktails), and the couple that run it are so lovely and welcoming. Will definitely be returning before we leave and will be coming back next year!!

Popped in to this lovely little place for a couple of cocktails before going for some food and absolutely loved it. Really warm greeting from the owners. Had a couple of cocktails which were fantastic. Sadly didn’t try the cheese boards but they looked amazing!

Brilliant way to wile away a rainy afternoon - cocktails, wine and a bit of chocolate. The owners were super friendly, very knowledgable about chocolate and wine pairings. Great to see that Looe has an alternative to pubs. We will be back - thanks Alison and Adam!

Oh my what an amazing place. Superb cocktails, lovely place and the staff/owners were helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. I can definitely recommend to anyone who wants a special evening in this unique bar. I will be visiting again very soon

We popped into Choklet for a coffee whilst in Looe. What a lovely warm welcome from the owners. Very comprehensive menu of 40 cocktails, many with a chocolate based theme, wines,beers and hot beverages. We chose Cappuccinos which were delicious. Alison was explaining that they are going to be introducing a cheese and charcuterie menu in the near future. We will definitely be regular customers at Choklet.

Just had an amazing hot chocolate with rum and my friends had cocktails. All were fab and the owners were so friendly. Definitely worth a visit and will be back when we visit again. Thanks so much !

Drinks on a weekend break, fantastic ! Came down to visit Adam and Alison that set up Choklet. Warm environment, lighting, decor backed up by the best cocktails. Welcoming and fun staff, make sure you try it.

Great cocktails, gin and chocolate pairings with a warm welcome in the heart of Looe. Highly recommend The Cornish Mule and Dark n’ Stormy.

Delightfully decorated and run by a lovely couple! The quality of the ingredients in the cocktails is top notch and the wine list is fabulous! They do a small selection of wines, many of them cornish and all available by the glass!

A brilliant new venture, a coffee shop that serves cocktails and chocolate! We visited on their opening weekend and it was better than we imagined, the service was friendly and quick, and the cocktails were some of the best I've had, the Mojito was out of this world, so clean and fresh. We will be back to try the coffee

Great new place in Looe with a good vibe using local produce to create cocktails that taste amazing. The Christmas Kiss cocktail made with Cornish Vodka was excellent as was the Old Fashioned made with Cornish rum paired with dark chocolate. The service from owners Alison and Adam was also first class. Can’t wait to go back and try more!
