Choc and Co in York

This cafe is so much better than anywhere in the walls and is only a few mins away from the minster! I live round the corner and feel lucky to have such an amazing place to pop into. I’ve sampled brunch, lunch, coffee, cake and the hot chocs which are incredible! More than anything though I love this place for being welcoming without judgement, whether I’m passing for take away after a walk/run, popping in with friends or hiding in the corner solo. The team are friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The prices are low for the quality and they have a great pay it forward scheme. Thank you for brightening up the Groves x

Todo el negocio es tan encantador y me encanta el ambiente del lugar - el personal es tan amable y encantador, sin duda volveré a visitar!

Esta fue una experiencia cálida y acogedora para mí, ya que mi esposa e hija habían sido antes y eran altamente elogiosos. Puedo entender por qué. El personal y el gerente fueron muy amables y atentos. Las nalgas de tocino que pedimos estaban deliciosas y los dos disfrutamos de nuestros chocolates calientes, eligiendo una ralladura y esencia de jengibre y naranja mixta con un 60 % de chocolate negro , y una con vainilla de chile y canela con un 45 % de chocolate con leche, ambas con crema encima. Magnífico y ahora un ir definitivo a cuando estamos en la zona!

Maravilloso café, gran personal, y el chocolate caliente era divino! Me encanta que sean una misión orientada a los negocios, también, sirviendo a un propósito mayor. Muy amable, lugar vibrante!

This is a fabulous cafe with friendly staff. We had a bacon sandwich which had plenty of bacon in and a latte for under £3 which felt like very good value. Definitely worth visiting. The ethos behind this cafe is fantastic.

Lovely local place, and even more importantly, one that is supporting local people. I was really touched by the message on the menus, which read 'You don't know what someone else is going through. Some of our team are on a courageous path of battling addiction and they can have some really tough days - because of this we ask for your understanding'. That's really stuck with me today and has mdae me want to visit again. The staff were very friendly, attentive and welcoming - and the drinks were fab!
