Chip Stop in Oadby and Wigston

The chip shop has been taken over by new owners. I’ve been twice since and the quality was great - if you’ve stopped going due to the rep of the previous owners definitely give them a chance.

Value for money -best chicken doner / tandoori meat nice and firm but not dry and plenty of double the amount of other local chip shops and they give free salad and what you ask- others I wigston charge 2 pounds upwards for this - I also had a burger - now I think the burger could be a fattier taste quantity but for 3pounds 10 a double burger flame grilled with salad and chips ...... not found anywhere that can match that - thanks

The curry sauce is like water and mushy peas where the same clearly they need the money GRIM🤤😭😧😨😵😡

Cold.old chips.very oily over cooked fish cake.dry mushy peas.awful service with out a smile...never again..

One of the cheapest chip shops in the area. Fairly portioned. Wraps are really good. Only thing iv noticed is if you order on just eat and write a note about your order they dont read it. So you dont get what you asked for. If you go in the shop and ask for what you want they do it.

The food always arrives cold, despite us living near the shop. The chips are disgusting and limp. They are very stingy on any sauce, we have to order extra pots because of this.

I went in here in the evening and ordered a chicken and mushroom pie and chips and the pie was terrible and dried out that much that when I took the lid off the pie I just threw it in the binI'd be careful what you order from here because it is hit and miss but it has put me off returning

This is pretty much our local chippy. I wouldn't rave about it, but it's nice enough. The pizza is good value, especially if you don't want to pay the prices of Dominos etc. Serve is good. It looks clean. Can't complain.

Ordered a doner and chicken kebab to watch the lady go into the back, bring a bowl back in and warm it in a microwave. No thank you! She was then rude when I told her that I didn't want reheated chicken. I ended having fish cake and chips which was dry and bland. I will not be eating here again!

Went tonight and had a lovely flame grilled burger and proper chip shop chips. None of this French fries rubbish... Great offers if u want to save a little too. Friendly and helpful staff always. You can even order online , or just phone and collect which I do. They also deliver which is handy if you have a large order. They have just refurbished but still have the same good stuff too.
