Top Cafe, good prices and nice staff

Thanks to Viola and the team for the excellent service and fantastic food, overlooking the beach I will definitely go there again on my next visit to Bournemouth

A real find ! Lovely welcome and smile by beautiful Viola, and the rest of her staff. Amazing food. I had wild mushrooms, spinach and poached eggs on sourdough - DELICIOUS! And the coffee is Seriously Good. This is definitely a place to return to. Atmosphere is busy & buzzy, but service was still fast with a smile to the end.

On the beach super location. The staff here are great 👍

Great breakfast. We had American pancakes with bacon and maple syrup and the kid had same but with fruits and yogurt. Very very delicious and not heavy. Views of the sea are a bonus and the staff is very friendly.

The food was ' hotel buffet ' and very underwhelming and over priced with over done hash browns, bacon and eggs.

Why is the side window for take aways serving worst food then inside absolute garbage food taste like from Iceland. Inside it's completely different

Called in for a quick bite. The place was busy for a cold January day but the service was excellent. The food was great. I had jacket potato with chilli and my wife had honey roast parsnip soup. Both were superb. Will definitely call in again.

Lovely location. Breakfast is much better value in other locations. For £12 you should get two sausage, two bacon at least.

Amazing views from the outdoor seating area upstairs. The food was good quality, reasonably priced and didn't have to wait long for it. No table service just order at the bar. Dog friendly aswell.

Beautiful place to sit out if the wind on the balcony on a nice day. The good is really good. Hubby enjoyed the breakfast and I had the pancakes with berries. Both delicious. Friendly service at the counter when ordering. We also enjoy the bacon and egg baps from the takeaway counter with lovely picnic benches to eat at.

Not a great start. Sat upstairs on the balcony, asked a female member of staff for a menu and was told to get our own!! Food and drink arrived quickly, Good quality and value. Great views of the beach.

I visit every year a couple of times during holidays, as the place located side by side with sand beach.

Went in cafe for breakfast. Sat outside for lovely view. Service was good but the food in my opinion was not worth the money. Small breakfast. Half a baguette with bacon that looked like it had been deep fried. Eggs benidict with snotty eggs hardly cooked 2 coffee and 1orange juice.£47.

Find your seat, get your own cutlery, order at the bar. What shabby service. Ow and the tables are dirty. No way I trust spending £15 on food when they clearly don't care

Best views we’ve found in Bournemouth. Perfect for breakfast.

It's an excellent venue to be at the beach, with tables on the sand, which allow you to enjoy the sunny days this summer. The inside facilities are very comfortable and protect you from the sun if your skin is sensible. The first floor gives you a beautiful view of the beach.

Wonderful food, great view and excellent service! My wife and I were taken care of by Georgia and she was wonderful. All smiles and so sweet. Lovely place to visit on holiday

We came for lunch and the food wasn't tasty at all. Coffee felt disgusting. I really loved the view and the stuff but never coming back because the menu needs A LOT of improvment.

The best about this place is the sitting upstairs with the beautiful view of the ocean. Friendly stuff and not bad food. Not pricy

The food and servi e was great. Fantastic for the price. Unfortunately, the latte was terrible, milk boiled until turned sour and served at ridiculous temperature.

Nice little cafe enjoyed a coffee on a brisk walk along the beautiful beach. Nice large windows to take in the view. And our server Sydney was just amazing. She went above and beyond to help us.

Lovely place for a beachside meal or a coffee

We chose this cafe as it had good reviews, not sure who’s reviewing them but this is not as good as the reviews make out.

I wish we hadn't stopped here the food was not very good the chips were hard and burnt and the staff were not very friendly couldn't wait for you to finish and leave as they shut at 4.00pm atmosphere wasn't very good it made us feel uncomfortable and kinda pushed you out the door so they could close Will not go again the staff kept hanging around to see if you had finished eating 😡😡😡

FANTASTIC coffee here and a wonderful view! I didn't eat, but I hear that the breakfasts are good. UPDATE I've now had breakfast and it's good! I love the granola and my husband enjoyed the full English which, for an extra £2 can be doubled in quantity.

Great cafe by the beach. Nice place to stop for lunch and watch the world go by.

A large portion of fish but it was greasy. Small number of outside tables as can't eat on the upstairs terrace which is a shame as it has good views! Doors don't open in restaurant as handles broken and no WiFi...used to be a great place to go but I won't be rushing back sadly.

My wife and I visit here every time we come to Bournemouth. We love the food here it always taste amazing, and the atmosphere is really good always super friendly and really helpful. This time we brought our 11 week old baby and the staff were really accommodating in helping us find space for the buggy. Will definitely continue to come here over and over again.

We had a breakfast bap and a latte, the food was incredible. Plus the view topped off the experience, definitely recommend. Dave the kitchen porter is also a top guy, plates were gleaming.

£10.50 for a burger that didn't even have any lettuce on it. Only the location was really convincing.

What I like about this venue is consistently good every time I visit. Friendly staff, really good standard of food and value.

It was a windy grey day, the cafe was busy with many people. The service, however, was quick, courteous, and efficient. We ordered jacket spuds, they came with a side salad and were a really good portion. All in all, really good and reasonably priced for a beachside cafe. P.S they also have a takeaway service for coffee/ tea and snacks at a hatch facing beach. Do give them a try 😎

I’m an American visiting the UK discovering my ancestry, looking at where they lived, died and meeting my cousins. I stopped by your restaurant and was looking forward to a baked potatoes, you all call a Jacket Potato with vegan chili and salad. The Mocha I ordered was good. The jacket potato was nicely well done along with the salad. The vegan chili was extremely spicy, I had to ask for a glass of milk. During this time my friend and I couldn’t help but notice the two other waitresses (white) were shooting us nasty looks. They helped others, refused to help us and each time we smiled at them and tried to talk, we got glares. The only one who helped us was the young darker female. She was pleasant, kind and smiled at us. I did ask about my vegan chili, I was told, “Oh he said he made it medium.” As an American we are used to spicy, if that was “medium,” he must have intentionally dumped half off the box. That was not medium. If you’re a foreigner, I wouldn’t recommend going here.

Awful food & coffee, bad service

I don’t know where to start…I am speechless from the ungodly cheeseburger that I ‘ate’ here, mainly because I am still chewing after 12 hours… We were waiting for the burger for about 45 minutes, wondering how it takes so long to cook a simple burger and chips. Once it came out, I realised that they must’ve sent the burger to the centre of the earth to make sure it was cooked through. I then saw captain America charging towards me screaming “GIVE ME MY SHIELD BACK!!!”, but it was too late, my teeth had already snapped off and became dust when coming in contact with the burger. The burger then flew towards Steve Rogers, I couldn’t believe my eyes. Thanos began to shoot at him, but thank god he had the bullet proof burger to save him. And all this for £10, what a bargain! But in all seriousness, this was the worst burger I have had in all my years on planet Earth. 10/10 do not recommend.

*NOT* DOG FRIENDLY But yes, the restaurant staff (unwillingly?) stands dogs - just about. Dogs are not allowed to drink water in the restaurant and senior staff members seem generally negative towards dogs. When we specifically chose the restaurant based on it being dog friendly, and faced the negativity by staff immediately when we arrived, this was such a disappointment. Food is ok. Simple frozen/ready-made meals that have been warmed in a microwave or oven.

Great venue to go to wether you are taking your dog for a walk along the beach or getting together with friends for a chat and a bite to eat. You can sit inside or outside, depends on the weather.

We live nearby so often come for a walk along Bournemouth Beach and frequently get a coffee here - for the first time, we stopped here for breakfast and so glad we did! A cosy window seat, we ordered breakfast and coffees - both were delicious ... fresh, high quality and excellent value, with really nice service too! Highly recommended!

Love this place. Great after a walk with the dog. Dog friendly.... They even give your pooch a biscuit when you arrive. Food and service is great too.

Popped in on the off chance for a quick bite for lunch after a long walk from Sandbanks. Great food and accommodating staff. Dog Friendly too! Another long walk back, but we were fuelled up on goodies. Hooaagh! Thai fishcakes were awesome 👌

I come here every day after my dog has had his daily swim. I normally just have a coffee but sometimes have a breakfast. Always great quality with exceptional service. One of the reasons why I love living here. Thanks to everyone at Chineside, bravo!

Top spot. Delicious food, perfect service and real customer care when I needed my beer changed twice: not a fuss, just great service.

My partner and I visited for breakfast, the food was so nice we visited again the following day. The place is nice and bright and spaced out, so not making it feel cramped. The large glass walls make it a nice place to sit and watch the beach. I would definitely recommend and return myself.

The best treat to spend a nice "Me Time" in this lovely place. Staff are very nice, the food and coffee is always good, and the view is just spectacular from the terrace.

We went to Harvester for a breakfast. Unfortunately they were short of muffins plus had so dirty tables, so we decided to move to Chineside which was just next to Harvester. It was quite a bit more expensive than Harvester but it is understandable in the location just next to the beautiful beach. We ordered breakfast and 2 drinks. Lemonade tasted as normal ordinary lemonade from supermarket which was a bit surprising what you get for £3. I was very happy about the Egg Benedict. It was very tasty but my wife's opinion is that they don't make the hollandaise sauce wasn't very good. I would definitely recommend to have a breakfast there but you have to prepare to pay more than Harvester. View from the balcony is outstanding.

Really quick service from the lovely staff

Myself, my partner and her father and step-mother visited here in May, and will definitely be returning when we visit Bournemouth again in September. The location of this restaurant, and the view from its upstairs deck are both fantastic; which would have already been enough for me. However, the food is great quality; and very fresh too! The restaurant is dog friendly as well, so me and my partner brought our dog, and her family brought both of theirs too; and Chineside were welcoming and happy to accomodate us.

Great service, great people , fantastic food And not bad price.
