CHINA ROSE Chinese Takeaway in North East Derbyshire

Had a takeaway for my birthday from here, everything was well cooked and the ingredients tasted fresh, it was delicious. Made my day it did. thankyou.

Food is usually good, sometimes not the best but I’m assuming that’s when they’re busy, delivery is good and fast because we live only a 5 min drive down the road, but the service and atmosphere gets low stars as the lady who answers the phone, I’m assuming owns the business, is very rude, I’ve never had a pleasant experience with her which puts me off ordering so only come here if our walking distance Chinese takeaway is closed, delivery drivers are great however.

Have ordered from many takeaways that deliver into Grassmoor but can say that the past 10 orders and orders going forward will be from this local Chinese absolutely lovely food.

Have ordered from here several times and the food is always delivered promptly and very tasty!

Sorry but this place is terrible! Waste of money

We moved into this area two months ago, had take-away three times each being different meals. I can honestly say this is the best Chinese take-away since forever. Easy process of ordering, and friendly staff when collecting. The food is fresh and cooked to our liking; we shall certainly be back. Well I guess all good things come to an end eventually. Tried to deliver an hour early so sent away to deliver on time; received ten minutes after time, starter so cold....... will try once more before adding to the neveragain bin which would be such a shame.

Food was overcooked and horrible part of the food was missing wouldn't recommend for the dog to eat not going to have food from here again

Wouldn’t recommend, they don’t properly read your comments as they say they do and still get it wrong, food was stone cold when arrived and just wasn’t worth the money we paid

Share box? Salt pepper crispy chicken....... Box full of chips no meat. They over charge for hoi sin sauce won't be ordering again. Worse food and prices have gone up!

Absolutely disgusted with our order! It’s come 5 minutes after closing time which has given us no time to check the order was correct! I have called up multiple times at 10:05 and received no response! They have sent wet chowmain which I CANNOT eat, it is absolutely bang out of order as there is nothing I can do! There is no customer support and the chips are soggy, the sauce looks like mash potato, the rice is crunchy, the chicken is like rubber. The chicken balls have no chicken in it’s basically just batter, this has made me feel sick, and this cost £35 which took me 4 hours to earn with my 9-5 job and nothing can even be done I am appalled.absolutely outrageous.

I don't have many takeaways but the ones from China Rose are lovely at a fair price and only 5 minutes down the road.

OK food al in all but didn't recommend the egg fried rice.

Best by far. Their crispy lemon chicken with boiled rice is to die for . friendly staff and delivery drivers are great …… please tip them they’re worth it

First time ordering from China Rose. My husband enjoyed his food and my chicken and sweetcorn soup was really nice. However ... I ordered Orange Chicken and the batter was very dark and falling off some of the chicken strips and really soggy having soaked up the orange sauce. There was no runny sauce as it had all made the batter like slop. I gave some of the chicken to our dogs as it was so dry and overcooked, it was really hard. I couldn't eat it. What a waste of money. I think my chicken was re-heated badly. I am so disappointed.

Nice egg fried rice, chips r different to normal chipshop chips, in a really nice way, curry sauce is allways top notch as well

What’s the point in ordering for a certain time for it to try and be delivered 1hr 30mins before. They apologised, said they’d remake for the correct time then they forgot!! Difficult cult to understand the woman on the phone too

Decent food and very rarely get any order wrong. My only question would be how come it only takes 5 minutes to deliver food thats Been ordered for 4 people. Its not microwaved is it.? Oh and one last thing, how come it's shut for a week.?? China rose has the potential to be one of the best around but standards have to he adhered to. And stop shutting on Tuesdays,

Fabulous food, super quick delivery.

Arrived early, was very hot and very delicious. First time ordering but definitely not the last. Absolutely full, with leftovers in the fridge!

Great meal.. Orders the set meal for 2 and it would have fed 4 easily! Really hot & tasty and ready in 15 minutes, what else do you want? Thanks guys, we’ll be back...

Slightly more expensive than other local ones but definately worth the money. We get one a week!

Clean your Fryer's out the food was not acceptable it's 2019 the food was like going back to the early 1990s

Without a doubt, our favourite Chinese take away in our area. If you haven’t tried them yet, I would highly recommend you do! Their crispy shredded chilli beef is the best I’ve had!

I have used this shop for many years and have never had a bad meal. Admittedly there appeared to be a problem, but that was caused by a customer who intended to cause a problem. The owner bent over backwards to help the HS inspector who has given the shop a 4 star rating but will not return to give the shop the 5 stars that the inspector knows should be given. Great place, great food.

Never ordering from these again! Was the worse food iv ever tryed!! Made my family sick?! My cousin went into the china rose as they wanted the food back! And they was fing and blinding!!! Will not be going there anymore! This the rating could do 0 stars thats what i would rate!! Discusting!!

Had food from China Rose a handful of times before. Been there again today and stood near the door to the kitchen and could see them cooking my meal, all okay until I stood and watched the chef spit into my food. I asked for my money back, which they eventually did after denying everything. I seriously recommend going elsewhere!
