Once again another 1st class meal

Another fantastic meal. Full of flavour and so much meat.

I won’t ever use another Chinese Takeaway again. It’s the best.

Spring Roll was the best I have ever had and the duck was delicious.

The food came clumped together and soggy didn’t end up eating it and the curry sauce was spilt

Takeaway- We’ve ordered from here a few time the past couple months and every order has been hot and fresh and tasty, never had a single problem, delivery is always quick food is always lovely good portion sizes and not expensive 👍 Highly recommended

Ordered twice now NEVER AGAIN! 1st order was over 2 hrs for delivery, then they forgot some of the order! Gave the benefit of the doubt and ordered again! Spent £40 on food! The chicken balls were raw, some sides were missing! Rang to complain and they didn’t really bother!

that was the worse meal i’ve ever seen one mouthful and i threw it in the bin wouldn’t even have feed that to the dog

1st time trying here even though it's right on.my doorstep and I.must say the hot and sour soup is fabulous 👌, mixed curry was nice as well bur I wasn't to impressed with the chips ,I would order from here again ,but I'd skip the chips next time .

Absolutely disgusting the way these people think they can speak to you. The food was rotten and there was an issue with a double order, got absolutely no help from the restaurant and told to contact just eat and not to bother speaking with them and they won’t refund for a order that’s come twice. Surly the address and the exact same order would be an indication somethings gone wrong. The woman on the phone doesn’t have a clue what manners are and put the phone down on me. Never in my life would I order from this place again.

Smallest portion of sweet and sour chicken I've ever had and the noodles were tasteless sausage was burnt and very over priced wouldn't order from here again!!

Ordered a chicken chow mein. Chicken was really chewy and wasn’t like what chicken should be. Chips were ok and the spring rolls were nice

Just ordered sweet & sour chicken with batter, shredded chicken chilli sauce 2 portions of egg fried rice and the food is really good ignore the fake reviews this place is great value for money also got some free spring rolls

Sadly the meal was ruined by the missing egg fried rice which was supposed to be the element to bring all the sauce based main and starters together. A very expensive disappointment.

Food was good but we didn't get any cashew nuts in the king prawn cashew nut dish which was disappointing.

The food was good. However, £2 for curry sauce in a tiny container that was 3/4 full is not acceptable. Not enough sauce for the special fried rice that was ordered. I am not willing to buy from somewhere that takes the mickey which is a shame as the food was good.

Finally arrived over an hour and half after the confirmation time. Salt and pepper chips were awful just a portion of chips.

First time trying here, and sadly, we're unimpressed. All our food arrived just about luke warm. We ordered sweet and sour chicken balls (10) but only got 8. They weren't that great either. Small pieces of salty chicken inside a thick, soggy batter which gave them their size. 4/10 The paper bags that the chips and chicken balls arrived in were ripped and shredded, so we ended up fishing some of this out from the plastic carrier bag. The chips are frozen chips that are fried (no issue with this, just a heads up), but they had clearly been left a while! They were hard with thick coating, and the potato inside had all but disintegrated. 1/10. They reminded me of my high school chips back in 1995! We also ordered honey and chilli shredded chicken, which was fine, maybe a little watery, if we were being hyper critical. 7/10 Overall, it was a bad experience.

The worst takeaway order I ever had. It clearly says on their menu and website what is included in the salt & pepper box: chicken balls, chicken bites and chicken wings. When I received my order there were nothing close to chicken and the box had pork ribs. I had to through away the whole box!! Plus the chow main were too watery as if it was a soup. I called the shop and they woman on the phone was very rude and only said she can’t do anything about it and go leave a review. Will defiantly never

For an order of £70 we at least expected the full order. Ordered 1 boiled rice and got an egg fried rice sent instead, and another dish wasn’t sent at all. Rang them and woman said we’d have to wait for the delivery guy. We’d already partly plated up our food so my daughter in law had to go out and pick it up🤷‍♀️ 😠 To top it off, there was a piece of plastic in one of the dishes!! Nope, won’t be using them again.

Phoned the restaurant and received an apology as they were so busy. Was worth the wait.

Two items missing, I rang the Chinese telling them they were missing. I was basically accused of lying, woman was practically screaming down the phone, talking over me telling me the food was at the bottom of the bag and asking me where the food was??? Eventually got the missing items delivered but I won’t be ordering from them again!

The egg feied rice was very dry and egg yasted weird.

Chow mein was like stir fried noodles in chip shop gravy. Too salty, gelatinous and didn't coat the noodles at all. Rather it was pools of sauce on the plate with piles of noodles and veg

The salt and pepper box was so small portion and was so salty had about small handful of chips in it disappointed.

Rice is missing, food is just about warm.

Asked for no mushrooms and the food was full of them.

Food came piping hot, i ordered king prawn chow mein and salt and pepper chips.The chow mein had a nice sauce to it and the prawns were nice and big, chips were good too, I will definitely be ordering from here again. :)

Takeaway on Saturday night, was the worst meal we ever had, slimy chowmein…really old cardboard prawn crackers and tasteless fatty beef in ginger( actually where was the ginger? Tasteless! Rang up to complain and was met by utter “rudeness” and the phone slammed down! AVOID ❌

Absolutely disgraceful. Ordered a LARGE portion egg fried rice with separate chips and this is what we get to get told when we phone back they only do one portion instead of saying that in the first instance when I asked for large. Also asked for chicken pieces in honey and they sent a whole chicken breast. Wouldn’t even offer a refund when they done the order wrong and then put the phone down. So rude and the food looks disgraceful.

Just ordered some food via just eat, food got here quickly and the delivery driver was nice. The food was hot on arrival, everyone enjoyed their food and my starter was OK I had duck. Although the sweet and sour chicken was absolutely vile, I put a mouthful in and nearly spat it all out! It was greasy didn't even smell like sweet and sour it was just disgusting I don't know what you've done to it but it needs to be changed

When I ordered the chow mein it never it was going to juicy instead off dry, the juicy was just sticky it wasn’t nice

Food definitely not fresh, chow Mein was slimy and stuck together in clumps, spare ribs very tough and also crackers were days old… not the best I’m afraid.

The people work in the restaurant very nasty we call asking for the food and this people hung up the phone on me and I am outrage that they no give us food and they hung up on me

Really disappointing. Small portion sizes and quite off tasting. Sweet and sour tasted like jam and the chow mein was slimy. We don't often get Chinese because of the cost but it's our favourite and now we're quite disappointed we spent it here.

Accidentally asked for a refund on juicy special fried rice, but then later discovered it was at the bottom of a container

This place never fails me every single time the food is stunning, they never forget anything and its always lovely hot and fresh . I have tried so many other places in the past and this is the best and i wont go anywhere else now . and the delivery guys are lovely too .

We order from here very regularly (once a fortnight on average for the past 6-7 years) and will continue to do so. The food is always hot, fresh, precise (we place large, complicated orders omitting or adding items) and of high quality ingredients. The lady who answers the phone is always pleasant and the delivery drivers are always friendly. Any negative reviews are typically 'attribution bias' (psychological phenomena whereby people/Karens are more likely to leave a negative review due to a one off experience....and most likely are having a bad day anyway). Anyway, thank you China Kitchen for another lovely dinner this evening and we'll call again very soon. :)

Food was ok, half and half chips and rice was a little small, also frozen chips not fresh chippy chips but disappointed dim sum was yummy

Seen all the negative reviews and had to show some love. People are quick to comment on a negative experience but don’t share the same passion when something is great. China Kitchen has never disappointed me in my many years of occasional visits. The food is always fresh and delicious and service from staff is always very pleasant.

Food was shocking. Ribs where tiny and had no meat in them, just bones in a lot of sauce. Fish tiny for the price and very dry. Chips hard burnt and cold. Sweet and sour chicken taste like something you would get out of a jar. Would not order fro here again, very expensive for the poor quality of the food

One of the best in reddish , good quality and hot food reminds me of the old lee gardens in the 80s really good

Absolute Shocking service. Collection 20 mins late after they said it would be ready, 5 other people came in and got there food before ours was ready. Not happy

I had to ring the restaurant to ask how long the order would be after waiting an hour and half and the status of the delivery was set to on its way! Also paid £2 for delivery! And we live not even a mile from the shop! We spent over £40 and had added a note for free prawn crackers which were never given, even though they advertise free prawn crackers on orders over £12 free prawn crackers & spring rolls on orders over £15 When I contacted them to ask why we hadn't recieved the prawn crackers they said we had to order direct on there website to get them I explained the amount of the order was alot and it would of been nice to have been given them or to have let us know and I would of paid for them on delivery The delivery driver was not the best either the chicken chow mein had about a tablespoon of noodles in it and wasn't worth the money at all 1st and last time we will order

After writing on to knock on the window and not ring the doorbell, the driver chose to ignore that and ring the doorbell and woke 3 kids up.

Ordered on line for collection and it said 20mins, Order took 40mins. Salt and pepper ribs had no taste. Sweet and sour chicken had lump of fatty meat.

Iv ordered from china kitchen a few times now , the food is lovely & delivered early most times . Tonight it was over 30mins late it wasnt updated i had to phone twice . Never had a issue before!

There's just one word for this food - EXCEPTIONAL! Hot, fresh, flavourful. No grease, no overwhelming background of MSG. Proper chips, proper curry. Salt and pepper wings to die for, and the pancake roll and spring rolls were sooo delish. I could go and on with all I ate but suffice to say this is the best takeaway food I have had in decades. Defo my no.1 now!

I am not happy with the food it came late and the portions were small it was cold and there was no taste to it.

Great food normally get free poppadoms and had to come back for my food but will always be my favourite Chinese
