I ordered sweet and sour pork balls and pork fried trice. First dish dry as a bone and second dish no,pork and anaemic looking rice. Ordered from here loads of time but never again. And it was my birthday meal.

Tastes horrible would never eat here again sauce tastes like washing up liquid

Avoid at all costs. Food is awful. Collected delivery and when I left saw a rat coming out the kitchen door. This place should be shut down and I will be contacting the relevant authorities

I started using this takeaway recently as my previous regular had gone downhill. The food here is absolutely fantastic - have only tried a few menu items so far but each has been well cooked and full of flavour. I have ordered by phone each time and collected and the order has been ready to collect within 10-15 minutes. The staff are absolutely lovely too. I will definitely be coming back!

I've used China Kitchen alot since it opened & I've only had delicious food & great service. Tastes fresh. I'll continue to use & recommend this wonderful takeaway!

Horrible.Please save your money

After waiting 3 months after closure. We re ordered as they are within a 5 mile radio-frequency delivery. Changed ownership and not what we expected, food is basic with no flavour did not finish our meal and threw away. We won't be using again absolutely vile compared to what we used to have with the old owners.

Friendly staff that are very helpful. I'm quite an awkward eater and they always remove or add things that I ask for and the food is also lovely. I recommend

Ordered salt & pepper chips with Singapore chow mein, the chips was gorgeous & the chow mein was perfect, neither was greasy like other places I've tried 10/10 I'll definitely be ordering from here again.

Terrible tasteless chicken fried rice and spare ribs. One of the worst Chinese takeaways I've ever had. Even the cat won't eat the reconstituted chicken in the fried rice. Not even any peas or spring onion in it. I never go back

Poor attitude, poor Hygiene, when China Kitchen thinks its acceptable to alow Just Eat to deliver a order and thinks it's acceptable to leave a order on a customer drive floor to reduce human contact. How can u leave a person's dinner the floor and not admittedly think something is not right and agree to the delivery standards

Living with a vegan we struggle to find a good Chinese around here that caters to both me and my friend. They're menu was very informative and clear with allergens, the service was quick and efficient and we ordered over £30 so they gave us a free dish as well as fortune cookies which they asked if my friend could have, we found it very conciderate of them. All of the dishes were flavourful, we'll be returning.

I use this place every month. By far the best chinese I have had and chinese has always been my favourite takeaway. love the place and the crispy shredded chicken is absolutely amazing, you have to try it.

Food mediocre, staff well owners kids very polite but not very knowledgable, the owners tried to over charge, due to the display menu saying one price and the till saying another 🙄, after pointing this fact out the owner was very abrupt and impolite but begrudgingly charged what was on the display menu, the food then seemed to be rushed, must say the curry sauce was disgusting it was more like congealed gravy than a sauce ( one lump or two ) all in all I wouldn't recommend or even go there again, this was my second visit after the first visit was a similar story, so at least I gave it a second chance.

Always loved the food from here. Open plan so you can see what's being cooked. Great as its local.

Llamé a poco más de una hora después de realizar el pedido (aproximadamente 5 minutos después de la fecha de vencimiento) para que me dijeran que ni siquiera habían comenzado a hacerlo. Luego dijeron media hora y llegaría y no fue así, fueron virtualmente 2 horas y nunca tuvieron una actualización a través de ellos o Just Eat. Finalmente llegó y no valió la pena la espera. Echado a perder la noche. Mal servicio y no volveremos.

First and last time. Called just over an hour after ordering (about 5 mins after it was due) to be told they hadn't even started making it! They then said half hour and it would arrive and it did not, was virtually 2 hours and never had an update through them or Just Eat. Eventually it arrived and was not worth the wait. Spoiled the evening. Poor service and will not return.

Ive just ordered through just eat from china kitchen they declined my order when I phoned them its because they wouldn't come up into my flat.. I have children who I can not leave in order to go down to meet them, the order would have been paid for so I do not understand as to why just because I do not live in a house I am unable to have food delivered to my door like stated....

Ordered food via just eat and advised delivery time of 50 mins - 1 hour. After waiting for 1 hour 20 minutes called the restaurant to be told food would be at least another 30 minutes. Customer service was nothing short of abysmal and would only arrange for cancellation after much argument. They even admitted to taking too many orders. If I could leave a zero rating I would.

Have been coming to the China Kitchen for years and the food had always been 5 stars. However it has seen a change in ownership recently and I've noticed the quality is not as good as before. The chicken fried rice is bland compared to before which is very disappointing. It's still better than other takeaways in the area but not as good as previously.

Order a meal the beef with fresh ginger and spring onions. That not what l got ginger had no taste the onions were nomal cooking onions not the spring onions the only thing fresh was the peppers all of the meals order were bland. Very sad, this was takeaway the we have used for years. Will not be using it again.

Good was very bland, ordered Singapore chow me in and szechaun chicken, both dishes shops be spicy, both tasted very plain. Ribs were very fatty and tough, again... very bland. The restaurant is a 10 minute walk from me and the food took over an hour to arrive, had it have been good quality this would not have been an issue! To top it all off me and my partner have not been well the day after eating this. Will not be ordering from here again!

The food was OK. The satay sauce wasn't very nice at all, and there wasn't enough sweet and sour sauce.

We normally order food from this place. But today the food was poor. The meat with the main tastes and smell off. I’m sorry to put a bad review but the food was tasteless.

good quality and tasty food, switched to this restaurant from another local one and this is definitely now our first choice local Chinese

Thought we would try a change and it was a mistake, don't know if main chef was off that night but food was bland and tasteless. Chicken satay and Singapore chow mien may as well been same dish just one with noodles. veg in gravy with anemic meat and zero i mean zero heat in the chow mien. Shame as the food arrived early and the duck starter was great. sorry but will not be wasting another £25 :-((

The delivery time was way too quick the ribs looked & tasted like they was from the night before warmed up with honey poured over them. However the jill yuen chips tasted very good as per usual.

I just didn't enjoy the food. Maybe i made the wrong choice. Wife enjoyed hers,but not me.

Driver advised on the phone he couldn't find the house. Tried to help with directions driver hung up. Called restaurant they advised order is cancelled and to deal with just eat. Driver finally turned up moaning about location quite rude In general. Food ok.

Chicken in fried rice not roasted, curry sauce a bit wishy washy, chips seemed reheated, all in all not great.

The food is excellent, absolutely beautiful! The delivery service however is appalling! The restaurant did do their best to sort it out, and when the food actually arrived it was the best Chinese food I've had in a long time. I would definitely recommend the food, not the delivery service.

Very good food and great portions. We ordered over £12 and got a freebee. I phoned back to change part of order and not a problem for staff who were very helpful! Will use again.

I hate writing bad reviews but feel like I have to in this case. We ordered a portion of spare ribs, which were honestly some of the worst we've ever tried. The ribs from King's near Parson's hill are how they're meant to be done. Not only was the quality of the ribs poor but so was the return of our order, the chicken in the curry was rubbery and the flavour of the sauce was bland. Still it wasn't all bad, the food was delivered on time and was warm. I would recommend going elsewhere unless no other option.

ordered the salt and pepper chicken and all it was, was chicken in batter, I was expecting chicken with onion, peppers and chillis same as at every Chinese even asked for no batter, all I got was chicken in batter nothing else, complete waste of money never ate a thing awful will definitely never order from here again

some elements of our meal were inedible,(sweet and sour chicken balls), the pancake rolls, well I have never seen anything like it, not what I expected and not nice to eat, the beef was ok, just lacked flavour, the ribs were tasty.
