China Hut in Glasgow City

ordered at 8:20, delivery was expected at 9:26 which i thought was very long at first since i stay a 5 minute walk away, it got to 10 minutes after the delivery was due (9:35) and called the restaurant to hear they have only just started making the food and would be another 10 minutes but i had only ordered salt and pepper chips. it is currently 9:55 and the food still hasn’t arrived. i think that the service is shocking.

Instead of just taking accountability that they’d mistakenly giving me the wrong thing they’re trying to gaslight me into believing chilli flavoured shredded chicken’s the same as the honey flavoured one. Nothing else chilli flavoured tasted off. I know what I ordered and this isn’t the only Chinese place I’ve ordered from. Only place I’ve had a problem with though. Now I’m re-ordering the same thing from Li Hao. That’s what I get for being unloyal. It was obnoxiously sweet and inedible, the sauce literally spread onto everything except a couple chips and ribs on top. The noodles are ruined, everything’s going in the bin and I said they could pick it up. Since it’s “supposed” to be sweet I tried having it with McDonald’s sweet chilli sauce and it was still objectively sweeter. Besides if it was supposed to be sweet chilli flavoured maybe use your air headed brain and label it as that Also your phones don’t mute I quite literally can hear everything on the other end of the call including “you were supposed to only make the honey chilli beef” blah blah. Idk why the hag on the phone’s constantly raging. Take a day off and stop yelling at your staff including the young boy trying to translate!

Phoned tonight 10.30pm to place order for delivery as we do about 3 times a week. Only to be told they weren't taking anymore deliveries. Very very dissatisfied we spend a lot of money in that shop in a week. The shop doesn't close until 11pm very unhappy customers

Cancelled order 2 hour delivery seemingly really busy on a Tuesday won't be calling again

I got a delivery last night it was absolutely beautiful mini spring rolls where great the chicken & rice soup was lovely the chicken was so tender & the chicken curry fried rice was to die for meat was so soft really well cooked definitely worth the money will be using yous again dor sure 😋

The best Chinese takeaway in Glasgow, hands down! Food is always delicious, properly prepared, always above and beyond hygiene standards (even more so now with COVID) Delivery is always prompt and sharp, and staff are so helpful, professional, polite and friendly. I highly recommend the Salt & Pepper chips (best I've ever tasted) and any beef dish, as their beef is always cooked to perfection. Honesty just the best Chinese food in Glasgow bar none, have tried so many others and always regret it and always come back to China Hut for my takeaway fix!

Took an hour and a half to deliver half a mile food came room temperature

Food was burnt and wasn’t what we asked for and ended up with food poisoning

Every time I go here I always get the £3 Or £4 tray which is curry sauce fried rice chicken bits and chips. Not too spicy just right I think anyway. I would recommend going here for a munch.

Not bad place not the best Chinese but reasonable

It was an ok dinner we had kids chicken nuggets and chips with gravy the portion was of a good size bug the sauce was very bland and had no taste to it we also had fried rice chips and barbace sauce but again the sauce had absolutely no flavour was bland had meal deal the soup was ok and portion was a good size but the chicken was very chewy and hard to eat just believe that they were rather busy or were having an off day u can't please everyone

Nah. The chicken curry sauce was well over cooked and could float a spoon. Delivery time was an hour at 8PM on a Wednesday.
