Everything was good apart from the Prawn balls that were a bit doughy and not very crispy.

Chicken, chow mein was hardly any flavour, but overall was not bad.

Sorry to say that the chicken chowmein and special house chowmein was too salty and the taste was bad.

Soup was tasteless, prawn balls was too big and doughy.

My daughter came in to order vegetable spring rolls, was given pork balls. When she went back in to explain that she was given the wrong order, you recharged her for the mistake you have made!! Very poor service and will not be Co img back. Disgraceful to charge a child for your mistake!! Do not use as was poor quality food also!

Duck and pork was hard. The sweet and sour pork was too crispy, it just tasted like hard batter. Only nice-ish thing was the singapore noodles. Not a fan if Im honest.

The food was ok quality overall - but one dish was very bad. The crispy chilli beef was dry as bone, it was covered in chunks of crystalised sugar and there was a small amount of pure sugar syrup in the bottom of the pot. Now I know, it says it's a dry dish, but we all know crispy chilli beef is supposed to be coated in a sticky sauce seasoned with chillis - this was just dry beef covered in some bad sugar syrup. Furthermore, a Szechuan sauce we ordered was just some bizarre mix of soy sauce, sugar, a few onions, some black beans - like some leftover from a stirfry. Bad food made with little care for consistency or quality. Won't be using again.

They tried to get me to pay for Extra pancakes for £5.50 cash when it wasn’t even available on the menu. Cancelled my order then Harassed me 13 mins on a phone call to negotiate price. I spent over £50 on the order anyway.

Early delivery, meat a bit chewy - ordered early so possible the food was not fresh

Ribs inedible. Cremated. How they were allowed to leave the kitchen like that is amazing. Curry chip nice.

Rude staff. Rude driver. Rude customer support. As an international traveler who has never used this app before, I felt very unwelcome and will be uninstalling the app and recommending others to use an alternative when searching for delivery options in the UK.

The ordered food was piping hot which was very unusual and giving 5 stars. Duck black been was a bit too salta and dry. But all the rest had unique taste and not greasy

By far the best Chinese take away in East London if not in London. Tasty fresh food, generous portions. Being customer for a while now and as I moved from Plaistow, every time I'm around it's a must. Highly recommended

Food was very bland. The satay sauce was the worst I’ve ever had (tasted of nothing and had weird consistency), rib was pure fat and prawn crackers tasted stale, so won’t be ordering again. Shame as it’s walking distance hence why I tried it.

Food normally comes on point hot and fresh i was dissatisfied with the chow mein as it smelt burnt when i took it from the container and was tasting burnt as i saw the burnt edges on the noodles so it wasnt nice this time disappointed with China express.

Never take soup - it's just water with veg. Also the most prominent veg is onion, almost no other vegetables. So sad.

Moved to the local area in October and have always bought from China Express since. We as a family love the store and their food.

Food was fresh, hot and tasty. I always order szechuan chicken, special fried rice, curry sauce and chips.

The xiao long bao was inedible, the Chinese style pork was super dry - I only rate the Chinese style duck. Overall, super disappointing

I ordered bbq pork Chinese style with egg fried rice and the egg fried rice was the best thing. The pork was dry, with minimal sauce and I could count the pork. The prawn toast was a bit over cooked so tasted quite oily. All in all it was just alright. Food is extremely overpriced tbh esp for what you get. Forgot my drink and tried to suggest bringing it “with my next order” lol. Think this will be my last order from here. Delivery driver didn’t read the instructions given. Again, overall an “alright” experience.

THE WORST Chinese I’ve ever ordered in my life!! It was honestly disgusting and really really s horrible. We called the restaurant up to complain and they refused to do anything for us! What a waste of £50! It all was cold as well. The Thai curry had huge chunks of cold cucumber in it and they halved the portion of that and the chilli beef and put the rice in the same box which cost an extra £3! Honestly stay well and well clear!!!

Caro, pollo chopsuey grandes tiradas de pollo graso crudo en una especie de salsa de gelatina rosa. Los llamaron y dijeron que se hervía dos veces, pero que no podían cocinarse adecuadamente. Evitar a toda costa.

Estaba realmente decepcionado con el nivel de servicio y la calidad de mi comida hoy. Tuve que recuperar la comida y la reemplazaron solo para que le dieran más alimentos de sabor rancio. La mujer del teléfono admitió que no cambian el aceite con regularidad y ¡no lo habían cambiado desde el día anterior! No me permitieron un reembolso y no me dieron ningún otro tipo de opción en la comida, ahora me quedé sin dinero y sin cena, ya que el único lugar donde la comida era buena era la papelera.

Pésimo sabor y comida insatisfactoria. Rellenamos nuestro arroz con el principal, así ahorramos espacio, lo que significa menos para nuestro dinero, ¡pero tiramos mucho porque era pobre! Evita evitar! !

Was the worse food I’ve ever ordered from Just Eat it was so dry and also I ordered chips and curry separately but the curry suace was in the chips and it was all mashed up it was disgusting .

Their menu is not clear and they sent me boiled meant in water with fried at the bottom instead of normal special fried rice. They refused to change my order and were very aggressive on the phone. I won't be ordering with them again

Very disappointed . Food turned up , after ordering at 8:20 , at 10:10 . What a joke . Phoned a couple of times and just got told sorry we are busy . When food turned up some dishes were ok but mostly over cooked . Ribs were done to a crisp . Overall poor service and quality .

Extremely poor service!!! I had to take back some food as it caramelized sugar which hardened like superglue to the cutlery!! The owners were so rude and hostile, they eventually gave my money back for the item and dismissed me out of there shop telling customers to "go away". If this is how they want to treat customers with their foul customer service skills, they do not deserve any custom!!!! I told them that they CAN NOT SERVE THIS GLUE LIKE FOOD FOR CUSTOMERS TO CONSUME!! I have been unable to even remove the substance from the cutlery, Let alone what it would have done to our insides should we have decided to eat it!!!

I have always enjoyed the special fried rice. Today's delivery, the rice was over cooked! Very soft and mushy, my two children didn't want to eat it. Was disappointing considering this is my first on line order but have been a regular customer for years....

i usually injoy the food from this restaurant but the fried rice and chicken I just could not eat the rices tasted like it was reheated from yesterday had to bin it I won't be ordering again from this restaurant

Food was on time, no problems from the actual service but the chicken was really disgusting.... I had to remove it all and eat only the veg. It was jelly like and horrible texture,felt like soft gooey plastic. I think it is very bad quality and then boiled.

I love this restaurant. I've been looking for a Chinese restaurant since I left Hackney and nothing compares to this restaurant. The food came early, hot And the Special Fried Rice And Salt and Pepper Spare Rib were very tasty

The food was excellent we love it and the delivery was even before of the expected time.

Last time driver threw order over gate and some items dropped on floor. Restaurant called and apologised for this and made a note to say on next order 2 items would be free. Placed further order and in the comments asked for 2 items and then verified with restaurant that they would honour this. Very rude lady said she was working that night and there was nothing noted. I called the mobile number from my call history and spoke to a lady who said she would speak to the restaurant. She said 1 item would be free no real choice. After being accused of living won't be ordering again from here despite the food being excellent.

I was acutely really disappointed with the food. I've been ordering from china express for years and the food quality has really gone down! The crispy beef just tasted of fried oil and wasn't nice at all. The chicken satay wasn't great either and the peanut sauce that went with it was just watery and didn't taste nice at all. I will be finding another Chinese from now on!
