Been having China City for ~20 years, great as always

fabulous tasting food and piping hot when it arrived

Enjoyed the food, just didn’t enjoy the price for 1 person, I spend around £20 for 1 meal and a lot of food thrown away. There should be smaller portions for 1 person as the price was ridiculous, £8 just for 1 dish. I won’t be getting a Chinese again for this reason

Thank you for an excellent food. Not too sweet and not too salty. Just the right umami flavour for the sweet and sour chicken, egg fried rice and black bean China City special. Love the prawn crackers too.

Some of the chicken was slimy and jelly like- not edible

ordered a "Mongolia chicken curry" mmmm sounds good, it was just a plain chicken curry. salt and pepper chips were soggy. the rice was cold 🥶. not the best at all.

Food 10/10 best Singapore chow mein I’ve ever had. Everything tasted great. Lasdy on reception was really nice too. First time ordering from here and now it’s going to be the only restaurant we order from.

Not great, arrived late and luke warm but i do appreciate it is a Saturday night so will give them a pass on that, but the food wasnt very tasty and was a bit watery to be honest. Also seemed a bit expensive compared to our usual chinese

Ordered mushroom chow mein received a meat chow mein instead - everything just tasted old and like it had just been warmed up it was on the point of cold/luke warm first time ordering from here and won’t be again for the price you expect better quality.

Changed my review because I find that if you phone these people instead of using Just Eat you get a better service. It's still a shame that you need to make a £10 minimum order if you want to pay by card but I guess it is what it is. Hopefully they'll improve the issue with card payment but other than that, it's great service. Very friendly people and the food tastes great. 4/5 because I never give 5 star rating unless it was something the royal family could eat lol. Certainly the best Chinese takeout I've ever known and I have had Chinese food from other places in Nottingham where their attitude was not as good. Update from tonight's dinner: Unfortunately I'm having to edit my review yet again. Tonight I ordered shredded fried chicken and pork fried rice and the sauce that came with the chicken was too sweet and bitter and the chicken didn't even seem like chicken at all. May as well have been crispy batter with nothing inside it. I am rather disappointed as I normally order chicken fried rice, which is normally pretty nice, but I decided to try something different. Needless to say, I won't be ordering that dish again.

Cold chips , chicken balls batter to thick and over cooked , crispy shredded beef tasted of nothing couldn’t taste the beef egg fried rice had an odd taste to it. Chow meins ok

Struggled finding a Chinese locally for ages as there either bland or cold but finally found a one that’s amazing, we have now ordered twice from them and not been disappointed. Food is always hot, fresh and taste just the way it should. So glad we gave this place a go and I will not use any other now when I have those Chinese food cravings

Nice food, good quality ingredients and piping hot thanks to fast delivery. My only disappointment being the Satay was described as ppeanut flavour. There was no taste of peanut whatsoever and it was a dark sauce not bright yellow like I expected. It was still nice though.

Always order from here. Never had a problem. Friendly service, surprisingly quick and consistently good food. So good, in fact, my Grandpa now orders from them and he’s picky with his Chinese takeaways.

Ordered for the first time tonight and we are absolutely delighted with the food and service we have received!!! Food arrived hot and fresh! Meat was tender and juicy with no hard chewy bits and no dry or overcooked parts. Everything melted in your mouth with great flavours! Very generous portion sizes! We struggled to finish it all! Would highly recommend and happy to say we will definitely be ordering again in the future! Our new fav! Thank you! Keep up the great work!!

Food was very bland and tasteless. Menu online did not display the same prices as was told on the phone. Mrs nearly vomitted when trying chicken ball. Lady on the phone was nice though.

had aromatic duck and it was bone dry and very over cooked. pretty much made half of it inedible

i absolutely adored the scrumptious, tasty meal. i devoured every bite savering the warmth and juice texter. the strong enticing aroma drawing me in for more. the meat was tender and i crave to get my lips around more. highly recommend this sensation food. can't wait to experience it again

Ordered special curry and delivered mushroom curry, told by staff they would recook asap and deliver. Told the owner would deliver right away, but came with delivery driver who had been around the houses before getting to me.I am 10mins drive away, food came 45 mins later and contained 1 piece of chicken. Absolutely terrible service.

Ok had a meal voucher of £10 off so spent £19 paid £9 ...the prawn toast are good large on medium bread thickness seeded on one side...the kung po chicken was sweet sauce very thin sauce the battered chicken pieces were ok ....a big bag of prawn crackers complimentary and 2 lucky cookies...the chips ok ...i microwaved the whole lot in 3 minutes delivered warm ...yea its ok its in a competitive market..
