Chimes Coffee Shop in Peterborough

Found this little gem after having a nightmare trying to find a cafe with passworded wifi for work. Really friendly helpful staff, delicious food a d just an all round lovely place

Loved the atmosphere of different age groups and meeting up with old friends

Appalling service - twice on the morning of 8th August tried to get a coffee and both times just left because the service was so slow or non existent. Several staff behind the counter - but no one serving me….one staff member made a coffee then just went back in the kitchen to drink it.

Lovely service, very friendly. Will return soon.

Nice community feel made a nice change from the chain coffee shops. Small area for children with books.

1st time visiting this coffee shop and it was alright. Coffee cheaper than I expected, only drawback was food was quite pricey for what you receive.

Large kindergarten. Quite expensive for any service.

ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT. STAFF WONDERFUL

Super meal, reasonably priced. Tasty & spicy. Perfect for vegetarians too as many choices. Service was friendly.

Was very busy.. and obviously well used... we had to move our table as it was so close to neighbouring table.. We only had a coffee. But were very tempted by the cakes and savouries. Have been several times and will return.

My sister and I enjoyed a relaxing meal at Chimes 💜 We shared waffles with pistachio ice cream and a lovely slice of lemon cake. The atmosphere is so relaxing and such a beautiful setting for families to enjoy time together. We were served by Tony who is an absolutely kind and wonderful person. Thank you 💜

Flying visit this time. Has to be my favourite place though. Cheeky detour for coffee and spantabulous cheese scone (oops) perfect as ever and served by the warmest of staff. More tea vicar? 💞

Lovely experience at Chimes last weekend. We held a baby shower and the cakes and sandwiches were sublime 😊 I would highly recommend having a gathering here or just popping in for cake and coffee yum 😋

The best Coffee Shop around. They need to install a better extraction fan, smell of cooking is often very bad and spoils the experience.

Great place to kick back relax and feel comfortable. But let's not forget the cakes, which are great as well and they make a really good bacon sandwich.

Very clean and warm cafe with friendly staff from the community. They freshly prepare the humble food selection. Good tea and fairtrade coffee. There's a selection of cakes and bottled refreshments all day. Before 11am, there's a small choice of bacon sandwich, egg and toast. After 11am, there's a good variety of sandwiches, soup, toasties, paninis and salads. There's also a children's menu. Overall a relaxing place, could do with a bit more variety such as tomatoes or salads as a side.

Lovely little cafe I especially coming here in the autumn/winter months as they do a generous bowl of soup. Comfy chairs, great service and the staff always friendly!
