Chilli peppers in Pendle

Ordered paneer makhani but I got paneer in coconut curry. If you are saying 'makhani' then sell north india makhani don't make it a coconut curry dish and argue on top of it. Name the dish 'South style paneer makhani'

Just discovered this jewel in the nile, Take away Indian restaurant. The chicken tika and chicken Madress. Are out of is this world. Lovely hot fresh nan breads and lovely saffron rice. Huge chicken chunks. So tender full of flavour. Taste buds in heaven. Highly recommend this place.Fast collection service. . Clean restaurant. Welcoming staff. Definitely going back for more. Food very good but could have been hotter.

Rice seemed microwaved not fresh, the chicken in the bhuna and madras was tough and the sauce quite salty. Also ordered chicken chaat and was sent chicken tikka

I got a phone call to say the Indian railway lamb wouldn’t be the same as usual the food was cold and the meat was inferior what little there was..also I wasn’t sure the driver backed into my car on arrival and had to check..very unpleasant experience

Tikka chicken could have been a bit of a bigger portion but was lovely

the food was delicious, really flavourful and still very hot on arrival. the portion size is very generous. the delivery man was very pleasant and friendly. I've been looking for a good curry for ages and this definitely hit the spot. we will 100% order from here again.

lovely lovely food brought one of the masala deals got some much food lamb madras meat so soft and not fatty bits good size portions and the food wasn't pouring in oil like other restaurants delivery man was very kind and polite will definitely order again

Exquisite! Absolutely delicious melt in the mouth lamb and succulent divine chicken tikka masala. Thoroughly enjoyed it all thank you so much (only negative was momo & dry veg was missing from the special meal which I was really looking forward to enjoying). My aloo was swapped for dal as requested though. Nevertheless great meal of the highest quality and very lovely delivery man. Thanks again x

Ordered a Tikal masala as not that good with spice. The tikka masala was very spicy. This dish is supposed to be mild. This wasn’t the case!

Awful experience. Ordered via Uber eats… it was meant to be delivered within 30 mins. Rang them twice (after 60 and 90 mins) and they kept saying “we’re sending it shortly. It’s busy as it’s Friday” - well, the food never arrived and if you’re too busy to do the orders then don’t take more online orders!!! Simple. Greedy people. Awful customer service. Never again.

order didn't show up. it was over and hour late and it said on the app as delivered. I couldn't cancel my order so I went there and they had no idea and hadn't even started my order. I've requested a refund a d if I don't have it by tomorrow I'll be going back fo the restaurant.

I highly recommend this restaurant. If you want HOT, delicious food, this is the one. BTW, if you haven't yet tried the PRAWN PUREE starter. You are missing out! Tonight, I ordered. Prawn Puree starter (of course), chicken tikka starter, chicken tandoori starter, mushroom rice, bombay potatoe and another food, can't remember as first time. I have enough for lunch next day. I went to bed happy and full and, I highly recommend this restaurant. x

food swimming in way too much oil - can't fault the food for taste.. .delicious, just your heart starts pumping when so much oil x still recommend due to food always HOT and tastes delicious.

Upon entering the place looks clean and fancy. This is quickly shattered by the quality of the chairs, which, although look lovely are very flimsy and light (as a big man i was worried mine would break when adjusting position) The welcome was warm and were attended to nicely, although things holes in organisation started to show (Starters for another table coming to ours before we even ordered anything) Forgetting drinks we ordered and different waiters checking on us but then having to bring the original waiter to order or ask anything regarding menu. Despite having a bar, no mocktails or non alcoholic drinks except soda and from concentrate juice was another negative. On to the food: I won't specify the dishes I ordered however, anything with lamb seemed to actually be mutton (i know from the flavour and texture). That is not an issue, however, the mutton was not cooked well, it was hard and chewy as hell. If you want to not pay the lamb prices and serve mutton maybe just put it as such in the menu and also, mutton needs to be slow cooked for hours to be pleasant to eat. Just a piece of advice from someone who has worked in high end restaurants. All in all, very average and the food can be compared to a mediocre takeaway in a low income area high street basically. Personally would not recommend. Thank you to the staff for being nice, nothing personal, just the food has a long way to go. (source: someone who has eaten in dozens of Indian/Bengali/Kashmiri restaurants, mainly in London though)

Ordered a couple of times from here now, lovely food as always.

Main meal for both of us was the normal high standard. However we also ordered some ice cream for the first time, on opening lots of ice covering the top and bottom so maybe it had thawed out a bit and been re frozen? Will order again for mains but leave the ice cream!

Chicken tikka was alright. But panir makhani was extremely sweet, almost like a dessert.

Great taste!! Keema naan excellent as always. Only gripe would be the butter chicken, needs more actual chicken and less sauce.

Lamb was very tough and the naan bread was undercooked and soggy. Not the worst I’ve had. Korma was tasty and so was the rice.

They’re really not as good as they used to be. I ordered tikka masala but it was more like korma, full of coconut which was awful.

We order from them all the time and every time, the food quality and the timing of delivery is very good!

Nice and tasty. Only issue is that for a meal chosen with the "hot" option it wasn't as hot as I'd like it - nowhere near Madras hot.
