Chilli in Wigan

Spent 75 pounds there to tonight!! Portion sizes where really really tight!!! Literally half of any other indian take away!!! Asked if they'd chuck in a few poppadoms and a pickle tray with how much we spent and they wouldn't even do that!!! Defo won't b returning!!!

I have ordered from chilli a few times now and my last 2 orders have had a item missing had to phone to get re delivered food is good but balti more spicy than just mild

Always delivered on time, friendly delivery staff. Don't like the minimal spend £15. Food luke warm, lacking spices in every way. Nothing like usual Indian food, had better sauces in a can of cheap vegetable soup or boiled my own pulses in too much sugar without salt, pepper or spices. I can cook much better Indian food myself , learnt by Mrs Rubani nearly 40yrs ago, worst Indian food I have ever had from a take away and won't be ordering again. Can you send me your batter recipe for your onion bagees please x

Disgraceful service , ordered meals for delivery at 18.15pm told 1 hour for delivery , rang after 1 hour 10 mins later only to be told half hour longer to wait, after further 30 mins no delivery & informed they hadn’t even started to make our meals due to being busy. This place was recommended to us by friends , can say we will never find out if the food is as nice as they say it was! If you want to keep being “busy” try delivering on your promises.

I booked a table for 10 people last night at 19:45 by paying a deposit of £50 so it works out £5 per head so I phoned at 19:15 to make sure to confirm the booking when I phoned I was spoken by a rude arrogant man over the phone I asked is my booking for 10 people under the name Aqodus Ali ready he replied back "no sir it is not my problem we are really busy at the monet so go f*** off " . I was absolutely shocked never going to book there again thankfully after speaking to management and the manager apologised and he refunded me of my £50.

This place is an absolute joke !!!!!!! Do not order from here I’ve sat waiting for my food for and hour and half rang them up and they said they would start cooking it and deliver it when I asked why they had confirmed the order they blamed Just eat said they didn’t confirm the order and expected me to wait another 40 mins for my food then put the phone down. So god damn rude!!!!!!

I ordered one chilli masala, a pilau rice, garlic naan, chips and onion bhajis. The order arrived and I had received two normal chicken tikka. Everything else was what I ordered. As you do, I rang Chilli and politely explained that I haven't received the right curry and had been charged for two of the wrong curry’s. Whoever was on the line starts shouting and being very rude. I informed them I haven’t even touched the curry’s. They were fine to take back and he refused in the end. I have been before but lately it’s gone very down hill. Very rude staff and the food wasn’t even so satisfactory.

Ordered for myself and husband was told a hour wait took 1 hour 30 min didn't mind as understandable on valentines day but the food was horrendous and we used to be regulars here but seriously couldn't eat our main the only nice thing was the sauce and rice rest gone in bin and husband gone to get a kfc 15 pound wasted don't know what's happened used to be lovely but definitely won't be ordering again

Placed an order for delivery for me and my wife, it was only 2 curries, 1 rice and 1 bread and was told an hour, which is fair enough as they get busy at weekends. 2 hours later it hadn't arrived, tried to phone them and the phones were switched off, ended up going to collect it myself and still waited almost 15 minutes for our food. Appalling!

Having been here multiple times and being loyal customers who spend a lot of money every week through having friends around, tonight has really pushed us over the edge. In the past numerous things have been missed off the order ie chips, seekh kebab etc, however tonight the takeaway was an hour late with no reply from the restaurant having rang 9 times. Not even a sorry from the delivery man. The onion bhaji’s are cremated, we have lost our appetite and have no time to fully enjoy the meal due to plans, and it is safe to say we will not be visiting again! Well done for losing loyal customers!

So far this is my favourite indian Takeaway in wigan .great food good sevice ...never disappoints...

I placed the order for delivery at 20.15, it got to 21.40 and still no food, at 21.45 I called the restaurant, I asked when the delivery was coming, he asked for my address and said it would be another 25 mins, the staff member I spoke to was extremely rude, I ordered the food on just eat, I said I have already waited for an hour and a half so I will just leave it (as they clearly hadn't even started to cook it yet)......his response was "you will have to go on just eat and cancel it then" the service I received was disgusting, if he had said sorry for the delay it will be with you soon that would be another matter but his attitude was awful, when I refused to go on just eat and cancel the order he put the phone down on me, APALLING service and I will NEVER return, I will be sticking with the India lounge in future, they are superb!!!!
