Came here all the way from London and I have to say, the food was on point. Everything was very flavourful and tasted really fresh too. The brothers working here provided excellent service too and went out of their way to help. I had no idea about the ‘kids eat free’ offer and was pleasantly surprised, what an amazing concept. Will definitely be visiting here again.

Been a regular customer at the Brum branch and does not disappoint. All their flavours are fresh and yummy. Would recommend the chicken parmesan and sirloin steak Will be back again!

We came to Birmingham from London and are super glad we chose to eat at Chickaros. From the beginning to the end Sadia was amazing and definitely an asset to the business. Food was also really good 😍

I have never felt such amazing service at a restaurant the way me and my family feel here, everytime we come we are greeted by sadiyah. The way she comes across to both adults and children is impeccable. Her service is outstanding. She really is the face of chickaros ladypool road for us. May she always be blessed in everything she does! The food was also 10/10! And the kids meals were free which is amazing helping so many families.

Impeccable customer service - Sadia was so so lovely and helpful. She was warm and welcoming and really tried to help when my child was crying, which was really refreshing to see in a restaurant. I would return for this reason alone. The food was great, defo recommend this place

Tried Chickaros for the first time and I will definetly go back the waitress who served us was very friendly and helped us with whatever we needed. Theres quite a variety of options on the menu and its decently price, I wouldnt say its too expensive they also do good sized portions, and food tasted great can easily recommend. They also do the ice smoke for show which other places do too which was not expected. Has an upstairs and downstairs seating area, plus there are toilets on the top floor. Parking was very easy for us we found a spot on the main road but it was the middle of the week. Weekend parking may be an issue because Ladypool Road can get very busy

Went a few weeks ago, Sadia was a awesome worker 5 stars🌟, she looked after me and my family really well, esp my mom. This was my first time, food was delicious and reasonable priced, was a good time out with my family

First time being here on 15th Jan 2025 around 4-5pm ish and we can both say that the service was great the lovely lady Sadiya, was so kind, caring, friendly and treated us so nicely. Keeping a check on how we are, if we enjoyed the food, if we needed anything else, she also went the extra mile by adding the dry ice smoke for the aesthetic vibes. She didn't have to do that but it just made the experience so much nicer, we'll definitely be back again! And we hope to see Sadiya again she's a great asset to your team. Poor customer service doors were open to customers and I took my family to eat and was told their were closed at 1:30.....if closed why was the doors open in the first place??? Disgusting behaviour....well I know I won't be coming back here again...AVOID.

Firstly the washrooms were nice and clean. We ordered main meals and drinks. The food took a little longer than expected but they gave us nachos on the house for the wait which was kind of them. The food was hot, tasty and fresh. The mac and cheese was delicious. Definitely worth the price. The service was brilliant.

We came up to Birmingham for a night from London, and my son was desperate to eat at Chickaros. And I am so glad he was! The food was excellent masha'Allah! 3 steaks and a burger cooked to perfection! Not to mention the best dynamite prawns ever! But what really made the night was the exceptional service of all the staff, they were absolutely amazing. Definitely can't wait to come back insha'Allah. Thanks Chickaros!

First I must say about Sadiya the person who was serving us, she was amazing .. Food - out of this world, I had parmo in Middlesbrough and that was amazing, but this Hit Shot was super flavoursome. Drinks - the IrnBru Dakiri was very refreshing. Although they did put tap water in the table, something is rare these day, just for that 100 marks... Decor - very modern and nice to the eyes ..Although didn't like the pink flowers .. Overall it was worthwhile to drive 45min all the from Leicester to try the food.

I recently visited after seeing it hyped up all over TikTok, and I must admit, my experience fell short of expectations. Its suggested as a must visit spot, the reality was more on the average side. The service was fine neither outstanding nor disappointing. The staff were polite and attentive enough. The food, however, was the real letdown. The dishes looked appealing, but the flavours didn’t quite hit the mark. I’ve definitely had better meals elsewhere for a similar price point. The seasoning was off, and I felt like they were trying too hard to impress visually rather than delivering on taste. Overall, it wasn’t a terrible experience, but it wasn’t great either. I’d rate it a 5.5 out of 10. If you’re curious about the TikTok hype, it might be worth a visit, but I wouldn’t rush back. There are certainly better options out there if you’re after great food and a standout experience.

I came here exhausted from bouldering and staying only to be served 1 hour and 15 minutes later. I was told they were getting "fresh chicken," which I have no idea what that means, but okay. Then, once we got the food, it was lukewarm, and after 2 minutes, it was cold. This was disappointing as it tasted great, but the cold food pretty much ruined my day. My friends and I complained and joked about how cold the food was. The worst part was that my £2.95 cola had no fizz and was completely flat, which was disgusting. I ended up drinking barely cold water.

Visited this restaurant for a birthday meal, but unfortunately, it fell short of expectations. While the starters were decent, the mains were disappointing. We ordered a king prawn curry, waited 30 minutes, and were then informed they had no naan—despite charging us for it. The curry itself was small, dry, lacking proper consistency, yet it was priced at £19, which felt unreasonable. The chicken parmesan was also underwhelming. In hindsight, I should have gone to Manjaros instead—their chicken parm is consistently fantastic. Service was slow; we had to remind the waiter for our orders, including waiting 20 minutes for a drink, which was only prepared after we mentioned it. Considering there were only two occupied tables, the lack of attentiveness was surprising. Overall, the food quality and service didn't justify the high prices. Was a first and last experience for me, not worth it

My fault I forgot to ask if my order was spicy but Sadia checked to see if my food was OK but the donner meat was too spicy for me. Excellent service from the staff. Very accommodating and friendly. Food was very nice, no problems with it. It is on the slightly expensive side paying £13 for a smash burger 🍔 but it was tasty. Card payments are accepted here.

We travelled to Birmingham from near London today to visit a few places and decided to try Chickaros on Ladypool Road. We were served by Sadia who is such a lovely host. She was really welcoming and went the extra mile to make sure we were happy. If we're ever in the area again we will definitely come back. Thank you Sadia!

Greeted with nice staff who were extremely welcoming. They even gave us things on the house multiple times we’ve been there which made our day 🙂 the menus had a nice variety and none of the food I have ordered so far did not disappoint. Everything was well prepared and we left feeling really happy and full. Recommenddd

The lady with hijab on the till was extremely nice and took our order well. Very nice staff members.

It’s always a great experience coming here. We always travel over an hour and Saadia always provides amazing customer service and looks after us. The Chicken Parmesan is really really good. A big Thankyou to Saadia for looking after my family, we always come back especially for her customer service, we know we’ll be looked after.

Over priced. Not worth going here. You got money to burn then go burn it...

Mixed bag really, food was okay. I'd say it was slightly above average but somethings were cooked from frozen. You wouldn't really mind but they are priced at quite a premium. Service was good, ambience a little loud with music and other customers. Cash only, which was a bit of a shame as most places are more then happy to take card payments. Was a bit of a tricky one fumbling for £130 in cash but fortunately myself n others had enough. Overall the experience, price and payment method would lead me not to return.

Would give it a 4.5 Star, food is banging every time, best burger i ever had the parmo, for £15 you're filled up for the whole day ready to go, whenever need something good,quick and reasonably priced this is the way in life, i would take 0.5 star off menu is a bit limited, overall banging

Delicious food. Had Dynamite shrimp, Hot Shot Chicken Parmesan, The Hangover burger which I recommend. Although mocktails/drinks were not the best for what I paid, very overpriced. The coke was terrible. Good atmosphere especially the retro music tracks. Definitely worth a try.

I've not eaten here but must leave a poor review after witnessing a member of staff having a drink and then throwing his bottle/ carton into the street. A worker from the shop next door saw this, retrieved the bottle, put it in the bin, and had a word - the young staff member just seemed to find this amusing. The filthy state of Ladypool Road is down to scum like this staff member and customers alike.

Disappointed by the food here after seeing many tiktok adverts I was expecting the food to be amazing. Unfortunately the parmesan tasted as if it had been bought in, it was Luke warm, hard and chewy. No bechamal sauce. Just topped with cheese & bottled Algerian sauce. Tasteless and not worth the money. The chips were nice and so was the cocktail but I definately don't recommend the parmesan!

I went to Chikaros today. My first time trying this place . The food was delicious and very warm . Saadiya gave good hospitality and thank you Saadiya for everything . Takeout box meal. Wasnt for me. Donner tasted weird. It was on top of the fries and fries went really really oily. Gave me a funny stomach the following day. Wont be having that again.

Visited Chickaros on Ladypool Road after a long day of travel from a different city and shopping. The atmosphere of the restaurant was great and could tell employees are very hard working, they always attended to us asking if everything was ok and if we needed any assistance. The food was nicely prepared with big portions and had an amazing taste! I would like to mention a particular employee called Sabina. Sabina was so helpful, respectful, cheerful and friendly with us and gave us an outstanding service. We will definitely be visiting again 😀😃😄. Thank you for a great experience and great food!!

I would love to give this place a 5 star rating but I just felt the food was a little too expensive. The food did taste delicious but I doubt I would go again because I just don't think it was worth it. The service was great. I came here for lunch on Sunday and didn't regret it. The naga wings and chips were delicious, the Bulgaria burger was so soft and tender. Sadia is one of the best servers I've come across in a long time. Very friendly and so sweet. She is an asset to the business. Defo will come back as long as Sadia is still there. 😊

We went for a family birthday celebration and the staff were so welcoming and friendly. Zabina was so considerate and made adjustments so we could be more comfortable, thanks to her it was a great experience. Definitely recommend and the portion sizes are huge.

Not worth the hype seen on social media. Food is cold bland. Gravy was absolutely disgusting, tastes like an old mop has been squeezed out in to it. Chicken was dry and tough to cut and chew. Philly cheesesteak was to chewy and overcooked. Chicken bao buns were not steamed and ruined the while dish. Nachos were drowned in salsa and cold cheese. Respect for the staff for taking the constructive feedback and discounting the bill. Would personally never go back ever.

The service was great but let down by the food. Which tasted liked Iceland frozen meal with just cheese on it.....

Food is amazing, staff are so friendly and accommodating. Food came out a little late which we hadn’t noticed and they had insisted with a free dessert. Very good service from them all 🤗
