Chicken Shaq in Salford

The food is cold. They send a little bit of the sweet potato fries. And the chicken wings are supposed to be lemon and herbs but is full of spicy.

As others have commented, the food quality isn't what it used to be. The chicken strips in particular were small, dry and hard. Will order from elsewhere in the future.

They sold really great fried chicken.

30pound order for a birthday and the whole order was ruined! They ran out of donner meat apparently so sent SPICY chicken instead even though we told them we cant eat spice! Burger was so soggy with cheap bigmac sauce 2 the point the burger wasnt edi

Food was hard when received took over an hour to be delivered and missed a portion of chips from one of the meals wouldn’t order again

Avoid this place, since new management took over, they are taking it downhill, they keep getting customer orders wrong, then they blame you for it, no apology or any shame! It happened to me, their chickens are uncooked and look pinky on the inside, one can get food poisoning quite easliy if you dont double check when eating. They dont care about customer health, all they see is money money money! Be careful and please Avoid this place.

My friend was eating the food, he said to me "I feel weird I feel like I'm dreaming" than he got dizzy, his heart was beating fast and he started shaking crazy, I could hear his heart beat I was away from his and I will report that place and I want my refund for that food, we still have that food left.

This was a large order. Sadly many items was missing. Refused refund from just eat.

Arrived so fast I couldn’t believe it. Happy until seeing it. Old, hard chicken, onion rings and mushrooms burnt and so crispy couldn’t eat it and then to top it off doughnuts were FROZEN!!!

Food delicious as always just delivery was late. Next time would be good to be notified about delay. Other that everything was good 👍🏻

jojos is usually my favorite chicken place. they must have changed cook. BBQ wings is different recipe, not amazing. I got breaded mushrooms instead of Chilli cheese bites I ordered. I will order again anyway.

1.5 litre pepsi missing and added no red salt when i asked they used to put before when i askes, and couldnt care less about there customers now it seems. used to be good though a shame. (chicken still good though)

Not one to make a bad review but I have to say this place is gone downhill, they keep forgetting the gravy with our burger meals, tonight I asked for a black current fruit shoot with my sons meal and I asked for gravy for my partners meal and they gave us two cans of Fanta and no gravy. We never complain about this place but it's gone shocking and I'm not impressed atall we are trying to ring them and we are getting ignored 4 to 5 times ringing them to get ignored.

Large gravy missing from the order. Otherwise nice and you get plenty for your money you pay. Chicken is a bit spicier than expected but still very tasty.

Waited in store for about 20 minutes before anyone even acknowledged that we were waiting (there was 1 other person there). The pizzas we ordered were very tasty and at a decent price 👍🏻 A lot of the prices in store have been corrected with pen and paper and is quite confusing to understand clearly

This is a joke re ordered due to food being burnt and sent out one little meal I have 2 children what a joke will not be ordering again 2nd time this week foods been disgusting I will be getting a refund and putting a complaint in

I have given this place a good few trys since new management came in. They never get the order right. I always order the same thing and not once have I actually ended up with the same order. Dreadful and rude.

I should of went with my gut feeling when the place was empty..I ordered 2 pieces of chicken,3 chicken strips and fries.. EVERYTHING WAS SO SALTY!! NEVER AGAIN!!

Honestly? Just don't bother. Almost every other takeaway covering this area is better. I'm not one of those "so rank I threw it in the bin" reviewers, it wasn't that bad, but calling it "mediocre" would be generous.

Delivery driver was very polite and friendly

I really like eating from here and the food is always good. Though sometimes, like today, they may forget to put that red salt on my food. I can overlook this however as I understand there are plenty of customers.

normally give this place 5 stars but today I ordered a large kebab and a smokey ranch burger the burger was good no complaints but the kebab was just mostly salad and a little meat it's only a donner kebab, donner meat is cheap surely you can be more generous in future I'm actually fuming to find a salad kebab when I've been waiting here starving

Delayed on the order time and was delivered in a cold plastic bag. Looked nice to eat, it was just cold and one of the meal trays must have come undone, chips had fell out and in plastic carrier bag

Absolutely shocking... avoid at all costs. We come here alot as the chicken burgers are/was amazing. We tried the mega bucket tonight and every single piece of chicken was pink and raw inside. pizza was burnt (what we didnt complain about on the phone, it was liveable) The only chicken that wasnt raw was the chicken burger but that was in stale muffins and was changed when we got home (again not ideal but it was okay) This place has gone so downhil recently and the staff are so rude 😒 waste of 25 quid as we was point blank refused a refund because "they cook chicken the same way everyday and it's not pink" (this is without him seeing what we have infront of us and refusing to come and collect it) absolute joke. I will make sure friends and family don't use this place anymore and I will be sending the picture to food standards agency (I wouldn't be petty about it but as he laughed at us on the phone, refused to accept it was raw, and basically called us a liar, then said its "not his problem" I'm going to take this futher) all it took was some decent customer service, and responsibility (we all make mistakes) but 2 members of staff. They should be ashamed of themselves.

Where do I start 🤔 avoid this place like the plague 🤦‍♂️ I went in to collect the mega bucket, whilst waiting all the staff were laughing and joking in another language (very rude). Although the worst part of my encounter was when I got home to eat,🤦‍♂️ we found what looked like raw chicken so rang up to try and sort it out .I was told I had to take the raw chicken back to the shop and they might change it if they think its raw, I wasn't getting anywhere so asked to speak to the boss who basically told me I was lying and the chicken wasn't raw and it wasn't his issue then hung up on me. When I called back and simply asked if I return the food can I get a refund ? He laughed at me and said no chance its not his problem. Seen as they've been nothing but rude from the start here's the chicken that jojos is serving and refusing to fix don't waste your money like I did 🤦‍♂️. This place used to be really nice but it's going downhill very fast after wasting £25 on boxing day and the disgusting customer service, I will not be back and will be advising everyone I know to steer clear. Also i will be contacting the food standards agency as the food is a health hazard.

Unfortunately had to pick my way around the food to try and find pieces with no chilli on Didn't ask for it but put on by mistake The little I did manage to eat though was very tasty Mistakes happen but a waste of my money on this occasion

Ordered a 3 Pcs value box and the kebab was forgotten and the gravy was not up to its usual standard. The delivery driver was also unfriendly no goodbye, no thank you when I said both goodbye and thank you.

The food was great and the prices are fantastic compared to other places. Definitely will be ordering from JoJo's again.

1 hour 40 minutes to deliver. Lied to justeat saying it was delivered. When I contacted them they asked ny postcode but before I could finish it they said its on its way. Refused refund. Shame because the food is nice.

Ordered stated it was delivered. It hadn’t so called and was told was waiting for a driver to collect it. When it arrived it was too cold to enjoy. First major issue with takeaway. Shame.

This was the 3rd time I went and the 3rd time they got my order wrong! I’m done with this place now can’t said I didn’t give it a go. Todays food wasn’t that nice at all, dry and unseasoned. If you want bland and to get ignored this is the place to go.

Food was cold my wrap meal was missing forgot a few cans forgot to put donnor meat and chips with my calzone when I asked why it was an hour early then just strugged there shoulders I'd asked for a time as people where at work so there food was even colder than the rest normally don't have a problem here but tonight was the first time

The lamb was full of fat this time, £7.45? Plus, why soak everything in the chosen sauce? Ie. soggy salad & nan? May I suggest you provide a small tub with the order & allow customers to add what/ to where they want, FRESH. However, The rest of the order was great. 😆 Ie pizza/ garlic bread. So not all bad.

The past two times I have been here have been horrible customer service. Today is what made me decide to stop eating here for good. Local to me I decided to give them another chance and ordered a burger and chips. I sat and watched the man behind the counter who was sat eating his food with his hands sauce all over his fingers open the freezer and grab a burger patty out of the freezer with his unclean fingers and throw it in the fryer. I said never mind and I will never be eating here again. The cleanliness is next to zero and honestly made me sick to my stomach.

food canceled after 1/2 hour of due delivery time still tried to delver 1 hour later i refused no contact with shop always line busy told next day i won't get refund but i stayed with complaint and got refund in the end . this was a second and last chance for this place NEVER AGAIN

Got a 12” stuffed crust pizza, onion rings, mozz sticks, and a kebab meal all for under £20 and everything was brilliant. Will be back.

Despite being a regular customer they refused to help me when they didn't send half my order. Was generally rude and didn't care that they messed up my order. They don't value their customers and the food is average at best tbh

My son used to go in after school for fries, he left he’s brand new iPhone 13pro on the counter one day by accident and when he went back in upset they said another child walked out with it, we tracked it and it was still there. My husband called in and asks to see the CCTV, the lady behind the counter stuttered and said to call back in an hour so her partner could pull up the CCTV. So my husband said he would be back in 1 hour.. 10 minutes later they called and said the phone had just been handed back in off another child. Bull****, they were caught out! Don’t trust these people.
