Chicken Land in Hillingdon

Dirty tables. Wings quite nice. Strip burgers BIG letdown. Only 2 strips, a strip burger everywhere is MINIMUM 3 Strips, UNLESS the 2 strips are very big. These 2 strips are the size of my index finger. Will NOT be returning

First of all I have been overcharged for my meal. £11 for 9 wings and rice without a drink ? I asked them how the portion was and he said very big. When I opened my box I was incredibly dissapointed and left hungry. The wings taste was fine but were absolutely tiny and the rice portion was even smaller. Look at the photo on how small my rice portion was underneath my wings. The depth of the box compared to how much it was filled. The rice had no salt. Very dissapointed

It's one of the few chicken shops that look clean and foods are fresh. They always make fries fresh, which is really important. Also, the portions are great. Great staff also.

Worst food and really bad customer service

Review for Chicken Land Ruislip - 16th October 2024 at 4:30 PM I was just at Chicken Land in Ruislip, hoping for a simple, quick meal after a long, exhausting day. Unfortunately, I left not with food, but with frustration and disappointment. The reason? I didn’t have cash, and they refused to serve me because I didn’t meet their ridiculous minimum card spend of £5. All I wanted was a small meal, but apparently, feeding a hungry customer wasn’t as important as enforcing this outdated policy. What’s more shocking is that I’ve been a regular customer here. After consistently supporting this place, I was denied food, something as basic as that, because I wasn’t willing to spend more money than I wanted. Isn’t the point of a business to serve customers, not push them to overspend? In a time where most businesses are moving towards more customer-friendly policies, Chicken Land Ruislip seems to be stuck in the past. Denying someone food over a small payment policy isn’t just poor service; it’s disrespectful. I left feeling utterly dehumanized and embarrassed, and honestly, I will never eat here again. To anyone reading this, if you care about how you’re treated as a customer, you may want to reconsider giving your money to a place like this. Seen banner for 6 wings meal on shop front , on counter idiot over acting staff doesn’t know about it , he Guide me for 5 wings meal and gave rubbish 5 fried wings meal …… ask many times for 6 wings meal but staff don’t want to work 😕

The Grilled burger and Peri fries are my go to from here, always cooked to perfection and comes extremely fresh every time, tastes amazing. Customer service is great, always go the extra mile when needed.

Super takeaway chicken shop..no 1 fresh food.. amazing staff...always staff control all unprofessional and fake uber drivers.. that's some uber drivers bad reviews..I know because I am regular customer.

Food is great, fresh I'd say. 😋 Take it from me. If your order to collect, you'll save A LOT other than ordering from Uber Eats, Just Eat our Deliveroo.

I wanted to give minus 5 star for the atmosphere in the Chicken Land . Employees don't know English language even though they live in London.

It's fast food but cooked well and on request longer for fries. They are very friendly,quick and have generously sized portions of food. It's not top end food it's fast food but the chicken is lovely 😋 and must admit i drop in here after the gym,sounds wrong but does the trick and food is always hot.

Fried chicken is really bad, tastes like mildewy carpets, not fresh at all, but the hot wings are fine. Slow to take your order, and they seem annoyed to when they eventually do.

Moved to the area recently and can defo recommend this place for their food! Never had any issues. Their Kentucky fried wings and tower burger are a must.

Charged me extra for my food than what was on the menu. Also once I paid then told me I would have to wait for the chips when I was in a rush

AVOID WHEN YOU CHICKEN BITES BACK!!!! Whole Chicken head in meal the pictures speak for them selfs. So the chicken is freshly battered on site. So obviously knowingly battered a chicken head to give to a customer NEVER there agian can’t believe it. If there’s any questions I can help out with in regard to the area in general don’t hesitate to ask and I’ll try my best to help you out.

5* on service and quality of food, was amazing juicy & tasteful peri peri chicken, and fried hot wings as just as good as Morleys, really recommended, very good on price too.

Chicken Land in South Ruislip is the best fast food in the area. Usually, only 2 guys work, the chef and the guy at the front of the house who's delivering the orders. They are doing a great job but I think they could use an extra person considering that the home delivery increased and sometimes you have to wait a long time until the delivery guys are getting their orders. Should be at least two chefs, one cooking the walk-in client's orders and the other preparing the home delivery orders. The guy answering the phone and taking orders is also cooking the chips and some other fried stuff. They have understaffed despite the fact the place is always busy. I usually eat in there on Sundays, my days off and I used to love their half-chicken meals but since I've got smaller size portions of chicken every Sunday I went there compared to the rest of the weekdays, I stopped ordering that and went for something else like fried chicken with fries cause you can't go wrong with that. I can t say was missing a part of the half chicken but was smaller compared with the other times I ate there during the week. And sometimes even after I decided to switch to fried chicken pieces meals I've got very small pieces of fried chicken even though I saw lots of nice decent pieces on the warming shelf. I assume is the management's fault, the staff can only do their best when put under high pressure!

Got 2 corn for kids it was awful. Not fresh at all. Worst corn looked as if it was a day old. Had to b thrown immediately. Grilled Wings were gud.

Its Fast food not the Ritz. The food is good and fills the spot for hunger pangs when in need for a quick fix. My go to food is the spicy tower burger. The place is relatively clean. The tables don't get wiped down too often but sometimes it may have small drink spill or a wet ring on table but it's forgiveable. The food served relatively fast perhaps 5minutes wait tops if they're cooking fresh.

I would admire the taste of chicken strips than any other premium place in London! No KFC can match the freshness of the live chicken and Peri Peri chips! I was so happy with the taste of peri peri chips! It’s like a very different flavour and crispy taste! The staffs are more helpful and chef was friendly and attentive with the customers!

How this place has high ratings I’ll never know. I ordered from here last night and got a whole peri peri chicken with chips and coleslaw for me and my family and ever since, we’ve all been on the toilet and constantly throwing up. The chicken tasted decent but the aftermath wasn’t worth it. The chips were stale & the coleslaw was awful. I’m glad Ubereats gave me a refund because it was absolutely awful and we are still suffering over 12 hours later. We’ve defo got food poisoning. Never order from this place if you wanna end up on the toilet for a day

This shop is so underrated, chips and grill chicken is so amazing and the customer service is a bonus. Highly recommended this branch of chicken land. I travel 7miles uo the A40 to get food here. Half grilled peri peri chicken & peri peri chips..with 1 tub of their special chili sauce and its heaven...been like this for the last 3 years love it.

Just had a chicken popper meal (regular) and my parents had a veggie burger meal each (both regular). First of all, the portions were perfect. You get more than enough for what you pay for so it's really good value for money. Better value than KFC by miles! Second, the food was very well cooked including the chicken poppers, they were very well done! Crunchy on the outside and juicy and moist on the inside! And overall, the food was SO tasty! Did not have to wait for long. You can also have peri peri chips instead of normal chips. The staff are also very friendly.

The staff is so friendly, the store is clean and the food gets made quick. Their chicken strips are tasty along with their sauce. I recommend to anyone who would like to have a good eat-in experience.

Been here twice, bbq wings were quite nice. They had a good spice to it. But the spicy wings and fried chicken and chips were just poor man. Couldnt believe that chips had more flavour than the chicken. The skin was DRY LIKE MY BACK FOOT. Place looks really clean which is a plus. Its very well presented. Prices imo are too overpriced. Dont think ill be going back.
