I ordered the firecracker dish. Mostly rice, microscopic tofu portion. Few vegetables with a slimy sauce. Disappointing, not going back.

Always a pleasure to go to Wagamama whether it’s for breakfast, lunch or dinner, you’ll always find something you enjoy. Service is super speedy, it fascinated me. I went for a vegan English breakfast on this occasion and it was delicious. So happy to see so many plant-based dishes on the menu. I was in and out in less than 20 minutes I think. Also they don’t add any service charge which is nice. Pro tip: green tea is free and unlimited.

Always great. But went first time as a family with 7 month baby. They took us to the far corner (which I didn't realise existed! The place is massive) and gave us some space and a high chair. They were doing this with other young families too. Staff made a real effort and the food and service was great as always. Winning business model. Happy customer every time. The ease of settling the bill is also hugely appreciated.

Really grateful for gluten free options, which can be so tough to find in airports! There was a dedicated gluten free menu and staff took my concerns about cross contamination seriously. A good option for those with coeliac. Food takes longer to prepare if you have a dietary requirement so just budget extra time.

Took forever to serve the big breakfast, our cappuccinos got served first and the breakfast was served when the coffee had turned cold, the scramble egg were not cooked properly and we could not eat it, poor experience overall. Do not order this item here.

The food was amazing although the bao buns were quite small. Good airport food in a nice vibe with airport prices.

Food was just ok .. lovely place … although there was a gentleman watching videos on his mobile with the volume to the max. I kindly asked the waitress if she could kindly ask the gentleman to turn the volume down … she said ‘ok, I’ll talk to him’ , I thought it was sorted! Instead, she went to call the manager who came and asked me to move seat!! No apologies nothing… big inconvenience as I working on my laptop near a socket! Not impressed!… ohhh and I could still hear that phone from where I was moved to!

Very nice and friendly customer service but tasteless half cooked noodles even though the menucard presentation can be misleading.

Even though it was crowded, this was easily one of the best airport restaurant experiences I’ve ever had. I was impressed by the care they took with my gluten allergy (gluten free menu, separate preparation, cross contamination warning). Delicious food and quality service!

Absolutely fabulous food and service! 3 of us had firecracker curry which was delicious and the two kids had chicken Katsu which was very nice and healthy. Poor standard of food. Reason why no asian will go here. I ordered korean hot pot, and it was terrible for the price of 20 pounds, who charges that for some vegetables? Mind you i pay a lot for high end restaurant's in london and this experience will make me officially never come to wagamama again, even if it was free, i will refuse. I should have gone to mcdonalds before my flight then here.

Food was exceptional and was brought hot to you as soon as it was ready in the 15 minutes mentioned. Servers are very attentive to make sure you get what you need with good recommendations.

There is a lack of breakfasts with pure fruit for those of us who don't have so much breakfast so early. Maybe the specialty is another dish but I didn't see any dish passing by with a good view. Reasonable prices for portions and location, which is the airport.

Had breakfast here and to be honest the quality was very good. Staff were efficient and we had our food pretty rapid. The App would not let me download and the Wi-Fi is non existent making it difficult to pay my bill. Unnecessary Hassel for a paying customer.

The offered ramen are not tasty at all. If you like ramen, please don’t eat here. The service was really good!

Cool spot, love the long tables. It feels like a casual place to grab a bite. The food was disappointing though- pretty bland but that’s airport food. It lacked flavor and was unsatisfying. I liked that they have a plethora of options for vegans and vegetarians. The small plates were also a good size and felt like a nice option to have either to go or for a quick eat. The service was good and relatively quick, and we were checked on a couple times throughout despite it being pretty busy.

We were served by Harman who was so pleasant and helpful- she couldn’t have been nicer. We had several light dishes between us- edamame with salt, bao buns with mushrooms , wok fried greens and buckets prawns - all delicious!!!!- eaten up so fast there wasn’t time for photos 😍

I came specifically for the ramen soup. I ordered a vegan one but added a hard-boiled egg and my partner ramen soup with beef. Delicious. In addition I added edamame, umami cauliflower and scrambled eggs. All good, nothing to complain about. We waited 3 minutes to sit at the table, our order was taken in another 3 minutes, in a maximum of 10 minutes, all our food came at once. It's crowded and noisy but still we're in transit at the airport. 100 pounds for two people. I recommend if you are a fan of Asian food.

The food is ok. It's not the best Thai food you will eat, but is quite fine and rhey prepare everything very fast and bring it promptly to your table. The service was fine, the only thing that the menus were quite dirty (I imagine from the amount of people that used it). It's an ok place for a quick bite.

Ok. Wagamama used to be really really bad. I don't how/when it changed, but today it was so good! Full of favours, good balance, close to an authentic Asian dish. I tried the beef ramen and it was really good! In addition to this, nice service and super fast. Great for a lunch break before a flight

Good Japanese food with lots of variety and good service. The only uncomfortable thing is the tables and not being a kid or baby friendly place. As expected, very expensive (£100) for three people. I ordered beef donburi and a beer. My companions had some ramen and we had two appetizers.

I blame myself for this. Typical Wagama formula, just with a breakfast option. At £16 for the full English, they're having your eyes, but it's an airport, right? And unless you want to double that by pretending you're in a Ramsay restaurant (you're not), then it's as good as it gets in T5. Go for the breakfast, I was stupid and went for the Açai bowl. I say bowl, coffee cup is more like, and at £8 it really is having your eyes. If you're on expenses, go.

This is one of my must visit stop over place at London Heathrow terminal 5. Asian place with best culinary experience you can expect. View are to the center point of terminal 5 A and view to BA flights taxing in and out from terminal 5. Ask for their free free tea , that really makes you refreshed. Their fresh juice is also best , they have 3-4 options but all of them are worth trying. I love most of their food. Recommend to try raiskure or firecrackers options they have. Food contains nuts and if you have allergies just mention when you order.

I was in and out in 30 minutes and the chicken katsu curry was hearty and flavorful. Half of the chicken tasted rubbery though.

We LOVE Wagamama but this is probably the worst food experience we’ve ever had. The food was cold and the katsu chicken was a really chewy texture (though this was corrected quickly once we mentioned it), and one of our dishes got forgotten. However, the absolute best part of the meal was our server Victor. He was so friendly, funny, helpful and professional - he totally made up for the food being poor and left us in a great mood heading off on holiday.

Unexpectedly tasty and perfect food, great service, convenient payment via QR code. An obvious choice on our next visit to London.

Rats running in restaurant.....dirty and hygiene is horrible.....I can't imagine what are the conditions on kitchen.....as soon as you walk in you can realise.....

Classic Wagamama experience but optimised for the airport where everyone is in a hurry. Had 2x Pad Thai and Katsu Curry and appreciated having proper food, served at speed in an airport environment.

The staff are friendly and efficient. The food is good and comes very quickly. There is always a line to get in but the line moves fast.

Superb experience, food and service as you'd expect at a Wagamamas. This is our go to food place when in Heathrow. The venue is surprisingly large, has great views of the airport and great location in the terminal. If you are after good food, quick service and have some time before the flight, this is the place.

Got a chance to visit during a layover at London, Heathrow T5. The place was crowded at that time and had a wait for 10-20 minutes. Overall the experience was good. Food was fresh, the slow service was due to the place being full but not a problem. It was hard to get a hold of server multiple times, although the last dish I ordered was served uncooked and too oily. Overall 4/5 Stars.

Great atmosphere, cool location, friendly and helpful staff with great attitude. Do not bother coming if you have an allergy. The house rules seem to think nut allergy = leprosy. Everyone else had eaten by the time “the one with the food allergy” got theirs. The order even had to be taken by a special “manager”. Presumably he had been vaccinated 🤷‍♂️

It's a serviceable meal in a clean restaurant. In its early days wagamama used to be an accessible affordable route into asian cuisine. Now it's mostly an off-putting pastiche. I had the spicy chicken ramen which left me wondering; "Who is this for?". The broth was overwhelmed with the taste of sweet chilli, sugar being the primary flavour of the dish. The meal failed to deliver and it was a disappointing start to a journey. I did also have the crispy squid as a starter and although it is quite difficult to mess up a fried snack it didn't really deliver on the crispiness. If you've had good authentic asian food of any kind, don't expect anything close to the culinary experience here, it's sanitised to the point of being unrecognisable. Tl;Dr Waga's used to be good but it fell off hard.

Ordered the beef bao buns as an appetizer and were great. Ordered the pad Thai with chicken which was super spicy and they remade For me as I cannot have too much spice and were super accommodating. Friendly staff and great vibe. Would recommend.

I ordered prawn curry dish with steamed rice and vegetables. There were only five prawns in this dish which cost £19!!!

Run quickly, the chicken ramen tastes terrible. The chicken was tasteless and woody. The soup tastes strange

The waiter Ron was excellent. I ordered a vegan dish, but it came with eggs. As I understand cross contamination I simply asked to have the meal exchange and Ron made it happen without big issues. That to me was very professional, he checked on me a few times to make sure I was enjoying my meal. The atmosphere also was very relaxing

Food is normal Wagamama standard. The service was horrendous. His name is Victor, looks like an Oriental gentleman from Hong Kong. He is rude in cutting off customers, speaks broken English too fast no one can understand him, communicates like a robot in a mechanical and monotone way, quite the opposite of every principle of service. Wouldn’t come back here purely for the bad service. Avoid Victor at all costs.

I think Japanese people should just keep it as curry!

Awful service. Waited ages to get my order taken and then only 1 item came which took ages! The others I cancelled 30 minutes later. They didn’t inform me that everything would come at different times which they should have. Poor!

Wagamama is a place i choose because the food is delicious. This time was not. I had beef ramen: the noodles were overcooked and the beef was strange. Not a sliced beef, but a pulled sort of meat. In one hour i was sick and through up. It was not the food i usually eat in Wagamama.

I was lucky to visit this oasis of vegan and vegetarian which is one of the few taste bud satisfying restaurants. Michelle attended to every detail and also was super kind to advise me on all possible vegetarian options. I appreciate her positivity and can help attitude and she made my day amidst a tiresome and gruelling transit. Wishing wagamama and Michelle most success and kudos for all the tireless hard work. We went in for a Japanese breakfast before flight this morning, ramen was fine and came quickly enough, but the children’s full English breakfast was so salty it was inedible. We tried to send it back but couldn’t get the attention of our waitress. Our flight was as opening to board before we finally managed to get the bill, and whilst they did remove the cost of the children’s breakfast, when I pointed out I had been trying to get the staffs attention for some time, the manager justified it by saying we are busy planning the evening service! What about the morning service? We left hungry and annoyed…not a great start.

After successful paying through the online table payment system, when we were leaving 2 staff members rushed to us demanding to see the payment proof, after showing the email confirmation they were quick to say sorry but if you have a table payment system the least you can do before treating a customer like a thief, is to make sure they didn’t pay before approaching someone, otherwise you’re just making sure the client won’t ever visit this restaurant chain again. Which is exactly what will happen, we won’t ever visit Wagamama after this.

I've got Yaki soba (chicken and prawn) it was super quick service and very delish food.

Nice food, attentive and friendly servers. The only issue is the food was slightly delayed and all 3x dishes came out at different times.

Loved the time here, our server Venky was lovely and knowledgeable about the menu. Only wish would be to have the vegan sticky ribs on the menu!

Had lunch here while waiting for my flight. There was a line but it moved quickly & the service was super friendly. I enjoyed the cherry blossom lemonade, it’s super refreshing. The duck bao was also tasty 👍🏼

Probably the best airport food I have ever had. Cooked fresh to order (about 15 minutes they advised us), it was delicious. The Korean tofu hot pot broth was nice and spicy, just great flavor. The pad Thai with chicken and prawns was excellent, very hot and fresh with plenty of prawns. The iced matcha with strawberry latte was great. The desserts were fine nothing special. Seating is a mix of individual tables ( I would recommend) for views of the planes landing and taking off or large communal tables for conversation. The place was packed on Saturday afternoon. Great service, plenty of staff. On one beer on tap (Asachi) which was a typical mass produced beer, not much flavor. Reasonable prices for airport food.

I visited Wagamama at Heathrow Terminal 5 and received excellent service from a waiter named MO. He made recommendations and helped me feel comfortable and relaxed during my short visit. I enjoyed the pork Bao, which was really good, and the chili squid was also delicious. The yaki soba chicken and prawns were nice, but the pork Bao was the standout dish.

So commercial but great concept with some of the tastiest classic Asian flavors. Katsu curry is a must.

Wagamama at Terminal 5 Heathrow Outstanding Experience: The service and food at Wagamama at Terminal 5 Heathrow were beyond exceptional. Both, my wife and me, were impressed by the attentive staff Named, Rishan, and the delicious menu options he suggested. I tried Jubel Peach Beer for the first time, and asked Rishan his opinion, he highly recommended it, as I told him I am fond Peaches. A must-visit! 👌👍⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐😊

The food was ok considering it's an airport meal. The prices are reasonable and the service is less than average. But there is plenty of seating and large groups are accommodated fairly easy.

Had the chicken Raisukaree for £17 and it was the most disappointing dish I’ve ever had. Super bland with no taste at all. Barely any chicken and the little pieces were super dry like the precooked chicken slices you get at Tesco.

The food portions are big and quite delicious. In fact, the mackerel dish was almost too big. Very good airport option. My server, Isha, definitely provided 5 star service. It was very busy and everything was fast and efficient.

Amazing food and service as always in Wagamama. Excellent care when it comes to allergies and dietary requirements. Good portion sizes for the price as well. Very convenient for passengers waiting to grab some food before boarding their flights. Only down side is that the open seating which usually adds to the noisy environment is made more noisy due to the airport.

Tried the vegan full breakfast and was very impressed. Vegan bacon was particularly good. Always good to see a menu with a range of veggies/vegan options and just hope that can introduce more.

Seated quickly. My partners food arrived promptly within the 20 min expectation we were given. My food took 40+ min before I demanded a refund. We flagged down 3 waiters all promised my food would be ready in 3 min. Only to see them pick up the dish I ordered and deliver it to another table. I am lactose intolerant and ba does t cater for that. I now have a 6 hour flight with no food and a rush to the gate.

Heathrow T5 is pure chaos. If there was a “bad place” (re: The Good Place), for me it would be stuck in an endless loop of delays in Heathrow. Among this chaos is a bastion of relative calm - Wagamama. The food is standard for any Wagamama but for me it’s the service here that stands out. The team are so efficient - quickly and calmly finding a place for every wayward traveler. It’s not easy working in such a busy airport terminal but they do it with a smile, and the food usually comes quickly. PS: the chicken katsu salad is seriously underrated.

15 years ago Wagamama used to be good, now mediocre at its best. Overcooked chicken, dry as a sock, and flavorless noodles. Service was painfully slow, so slow I had to dump half of my food in a take away box and run to my gate. And I was there in good time, but servers were ignoring me after I was seated. My good memories of Wagamama was painfully shattered!

So to be completely honest this must be the worst review I've given any wagamama I've visted. Ordered one fried duck, chilli squid and one room temperature still water, room temp water they did not have in a sealed bottle so opted for tap water. The duck was over fried and not the same taste I was accustomed to, the chilli squid was under cooked and not crispy like all other outlets, this could be that they were so busy and did not either have the right head chef or no proper trained staff? Let's not mention the tap water had some small black seeds in the water. You would need to rethink stopping here to eat, especially if you only one as the waiters take forever to place your order.

This restaurant has been one of my regular eateries while transiting through Heathrow T5 however I was quite let down when I ate at the place today. The restaurant was dirty with the floor soiled and littered, the bins overflowing and unattended and the tables sticky and unclean. The food quality too has declined with the chilly edamame being excessively salty, the chicken gyoza was insipid and the rice in the shus shi chicken was cold. We sent back the chicken dish asking for fresh, hot rice. The only saving grace was the grilled duck. Quite disappointing.

It's the worst ramen in my life. The ramen was overcooked and the soup base was tasted like ramen water even I chose "rich" for the soup base.

This is my second time at the Wagamama in Terminal 5. Victor was my server for both visits and he is the best. Very knowledgeable of the menu, great recommendations, and lovely sense of humor.

The food was great, and they were very supportive of limited diets. A manager brings a detailed allergen chart and explains all potential problems, confirming choices before accepting the order. But it could have been nice if they were more clear that asking for water comes with a 5.50 charge.

I had a great experience at Wagamama. I did not wait long for a table or my food. The staff was very kind and helpful. There were multiple clearly marked vegan options to choose from on the menu. The serving size for the sweet potato curry was very generous and it was very flavorful. The mushroom bao buns were excellent.
