Disgusting! Not worth any money. The fries stink of old oil, pepsi tastes like a cheap substitute. Plastic straws and cups... I highly DO NOT recommend!

I usually walk past this place at the Lowry as I work nearby. I decided to get lunch here today but now wish I hadn’t, as the food was bad. I wasn’t expecting great things as it looked like a chicken shop which serves food that’s been cooked beforehand and is boxed up when ordered, however thought it’d be an average chicken burger, fries and wings meal. In other words simple but satisfying fare. However I was mistaken and feel robbed. A chicken burger box meal, with fries, 2 wings, beans and a drink were £10. Not cheap but reasonable if the quality and flavour were present. Sadly the food lacked both. The burger had soggy batter and the meat was dry. It was supposed to be spicy but the burger was bland, lukewarm and with only a smear of chilli sauce to make it ‘spicy’. No seasoning in the batter. The wings were greasy and cold with lots of blood vessels and cartilage. Again no seasoning. The beans weren’t bad, and had a bbq flavour. The fries were average - crispy but flavourless. Overall I’d avoid this place and go elsewhere in the Lowry.

Good, a bit on the pricey side though. A note on the food court: people who work there are so rude! There were 3 of them chatting loudly and making funny noises and laughing, next to my table. The lady was slamming thd trays while emptying & stacking them. Not great place!

This place needs closing down & a serious visit from FSA! What they tried to give me today was vile. A chicken burger which was sat in a puddle of water looked undercooked and not edible. The customer service was quite bad explained to them I can't eat that looks like it will make me ill. The kitchen looked really dirty and needs a good clean

Food took too long to arrive, was second in the queue of about ten people to order and last to get served, they completely messed up my order; I ordered a BBQ chicken burger meal with two pieces of chicken but got a large fillet burger meal instead, I don't know how you confuse the two. Overall the food was terrible and I would not recommend.

Better know what you order not everything is tasty or freshly served.

Just about the best bbq chicken that I ever ate, the menu said wings but they served me legs so a nice surprise there. The bbq sauce was exquisite with a nice mild upfront and a stiff little kick in the aftertaste. The prices are on par with McDonald's but the quality is way higher, portion size was more than adequate

i read reviews before eating here one review described the food as particularly tasting like a sparell chicken. and that's nothing further from the truth. the food made me feel like the chicken was dancing in my mouth. i felt sick to my stomach. the next day i pooed out feathers. terrible customer service

Food was cooked fresh to order and was hot and well presented for what it was. Meal deal wasn't bad value and it all tasted really good. Staff were pleasant enough and the food court 'canteen' area where you sit and eat at has only recently been refurbished. Couldn't give 5/5 because the whole Lowry Outlet Mall was deadly quiet, concerning for a Saturday afternoon peak time and all of the food places seemed eerily short of customers. Lots of empty units in the Shopping Centre now so I suppose loss of passing trade.

the place was filthy, tables were not wiped and chairs were greasy. ordered chicken wrap quite bland and felt rubbery in my mouth. my friend ordered a chicken burger and got a spicy type of chicken i wouldn't even call it a chicken felt like some type of creature found in the gutters. i felt sick after a couple of bites so did my friends and we all couldn't stomach the food and loss appetite days after. the staff had no politeness or kind service

Second in the queue and it still took 15 minutes to be served, then another 10 minutes for our food to arrive. The server was very quiet and her accent was difficult to understand. When the food finally arrived , the male server just put the food on the counter and rang the bell and turned away. I had to call him back to ask for napkins and folks. The biggest shock was being given plastic straws with our drinks. Correct me, if I'm wrong , but they were banned in 2020. Food was edible, but nothing special. Would not recommend

Ordered online, burger was for some reason crunchy and hard, barely edible. Wings were nice and tasty a bit cold. Sweetcorn was horrible smelled and tasted as if a milkshake was dropped on it. Chips were cold but tasty. Portion was quite small. I ordered 3 chips but 1 was missing but Uber eats replied quickly and refunded within 30 minutes. Burger was quite messy as well a lot of onions and tomatoes were dropped. Sauce was spreader everyday. Presentation was atrocious. Sometimes I go to the store and it tastes nice and fresh no complaints. Delivery is a new experience.

The food got ready quickly, the only good thing about them. £11.75 for the half chicken meal with rice, chips, salad and a drink. The chicken did'nt taste fresh, it was burnt. Rice was in a 250 ml container and it was sooo less in quantity that it filled only half of the container. Salad box had some lettuce, 2 rings of onions and 2 tiny pcs of tomato. Chips was nice but very few in volume. I'm sure I'm not ordering here again..

i been there today for first time and for sure its gonna be my last time aswell. the chicken didnt look or taste fresh it was very greasy and soggy . tasted like the oil in fryers was changed 2 years ago chips and drink alright. the price is the same as with a menu on kfc or burger king but the quality is not incomparable. service is very poor aswell

Lovely.. Best,wonderful decent fried chicken finally... Chicken cottage is the best fried chicken in my lifetime... I could eat it all day.. service is great!! Members of staff r very nice.. I used to have a chicken cottage near me but it closed so I love coming here.... taste is so nice... nice flavour.... hygiene is good... nice seating and view in lowry outlet,nice atmosphere... Wonderful... **Best fried chicken ever!!!!!**

The most ridiculous fast food restaurant I've ever been to. £ 5.50 for 4 chicken nuggets and chips. Portions are tiny and you'll ultimately leave unsatisfied.

First time I ordered from here a good time ago I was amazed and thought I found the chosen one for chicken burgers!!! But as time went on it got worse and worse until. Last night. Wow how times have changed..... Last night I had the most intense food poisoning ever. I mean dear lord I have had food poisoning before. But I was terrified last night.... Like I felt sincere dread and fear. Acid ripping my throat apart. I am literally going to see my GP due to the intensity of the acid. So I will be reporting this place as it's disgraceful to be operational under these conditions. Unless you desire to know what true fear feels like.... What kind of stuff are you people doing that it makes a 6ft3 guy curl up and want his momma to tell him everything gonna be alright!!!!!!! Think I am being dramatic? Then by all means go and grab yourself one. Trying to prove me wrong will not be worth it..............

Chicken was bright pink and bloody, I felt nauseous when I ate it and still feel nauseous later the same day. Staff don't understand you properly and messed up my order. the best thing was the tango ice blast, gave them a star just for that👍 don't come here btw...

Halal food is served. But all rates are expensive. Plus the portion of each is very less.

I have ended up frequenting this place because of generous portions and flavourful wings. It would be much better if they tried to do things in more batches because it has happened that I got wings a few minutes older than what I would've liked.

Benefit is this place opens much later than the other food court establishments and is inexpensive. Staff were welcoming. Small portion of chips was freshly cooked, but chicken wrap was very densely wrapped with little salad and very hot sauce.

Horrible food poisoning from the chicken I ate here. The lack of customer service and over-priced food had me in doubts about going to this place but I was sure after I got a terrible stomach. Avoid this rubbish.
