Delicious chicken, and very friendly staff! 10/10 all round!

Cravings satisfied! We traveled over 3 hours just to try this chicken as I’ve been seeing it on Instagram. We got to the place quite late, at around 8pm - it was not busy but as we walked in, there was no staff so we got quite confused. But still, we waited a little longer, and finally, somebody came out. We ordered the buffalo wings and a whole chicken (half original and half garlic soy glazed), with cajun fries and spam fries on the side. We were told that it would take a little longer than usual for the food to be served, around 40mins… but we didn’t mind. We were just too excited to finally try it! All I can say is… It was worth the wait!!! ❤️

I go to a chicken restaurant often, but this is my first review. It's chicken with a little curry flavor and onion chips sprinkled on top. I ate seasoned chicken and soy sauce chicken. It was delicious, but the saltiness was too strong.

Fantastic fried chicken, the signature & glazed are absolutely delicious, their Korean speciality menu is wonderful too (bonus: reasonably priced too). Walked in here 5 mins after they opened for lunch on Saturdays, and when you see a few tables taken already, that’s typically a very good sign. The host at the restaurant took real good care of us, checked in with us after the food was served. Definitely coming back.

Ordered takeaway on Sunday for 17:15. Arrived on time for pick up, but waited extra 10minutes which was not a big deal, the staff were polite. We ordered half fried/half glazed with garlic soy and sweet potato chips. Th half glazed garlic soy is fairly tasty, but a bit sickening if you eat more than 2 pieces and I’d say at around £23 quite expensive for what it is. Chips are nice. Decent portions, but half fried just tasted like plain KFC with price tag. I would probably not come back nor recommend.

Yummy! I traveled an hour and a half to try this food and it did not disappoint. Amazing fried chicken that makes me think a second trip will be worth it. Although, I would recommend calling to make a reservation (there's no way to do it online)

This establishment is absolutely sublime. From the smooth jazz music filling the room, to the friendly and welcoming service, this is truly an experience which any self respecting individual should strive to enjoy. As for the food? Egregious. When I took the first bite of my sweet chilli glazed chicken, my eyes closed and my soul opened. I was transported outside of this corporeal dimension and transcended every accepted measure of consciousness. It was very good grub indeed, would recommend, 10/10, will be returning

If you like good fried chicken this is your spot, the sweet chilli glazed chicken is special, first bite reminded me of some of the happiest times of my life. The athmosphere was amazing, great jazz music. Service was great.

Great experience. Staff is absolutely lovely, food is delicious! My daughter treated me for my birthday and management even treated us to a drink. Definitely worth coming back.

Best chicken ive ever had esp the sweet chilli

My partner introduced me to this restaurant when we first started dating and we regularly return with friends, we probably speak about Chick and Beers at least once a week! The food is always exceptional and so tasty! The owner is always so friendly and chatty, ensures we are always happy with our meal. There is always a buzzing atmosphere and it's a great night out!!

We got the normal fried chicken (whole), wings and drinks. Literally nothing on the batter, no salt or pepper so there wasn’t much taste. You would get much better tasting fried chicken from your local chicken and chip shops. The chicken would burst of hot oil when tearing it apart. We asked for the spicy chilli sauce and that tasted like sweet chilli (coming from someone who can’t eat spicy food). I’m really surprised by how high the Google review ratings are for this place….hmmm

The lady that served us was very quick and efficient and friendly. We will definitely be back to try some more of the menu! My partner also enjoyed the beer on tap and there was a good, tasty variety of veggie options.

Great little place. There is no pretense, just good food. The staff were amazing. The Korean fried chicken was cooked to order and you could taste the quality of the chicken. The meat was tender and juicy. The skin crispy but not oily. I would definitely go for the soy glaze as the plain fried is as described. The glaze had the right amount of sweetness for me as it wasn’t too sweet. If you’re in the area and fancy “KFC” give this place a try.

Amazing food! Think may have eaten too much but couldn't be helped when food is this good. The guy running the show was really friendly and helpful and made sure we were well looked after.

I really wish I could write an amazing and glowing review but sadly we were left unimpressed with the food. 4 of us went and so we had 2 whole chickens and 2 of their sticky chicken bites with chilli sauce. The 2 whole chickens were half glazed and half original. The sticky chicken bites are absolutely amazing! If I ever go again I'll just order them as they are the bomb! However it all fell a bit short on the main dish and supposed star the chicken. The glaze is tasty but not wow tasty and the original was fairly mediocre to say the least. It was dry and lacked any real flavour and we all 4 agreed on that. Sticky chicken bites for the win and maybe the soy glazed whole chicken but avoid the original as nothing special. Staff were great and overall was an alright meal just some dishes we would not order again.

This place is absolutely GORGEOUS! I orders some wings which were out of this world! 5/5 or 10/10 would recommend

It’s too difficult to find authentic Korean Restaurants in London and though I live quite far from this place, I’ll definitely exert more effort just to be here. Their food is so delicious and well seasoned. Their boneless chicken is crunchy even after it has been tossed and glazed in its equally delicious sauce. The only difficulty I’ve experienced was choosing my favourite because every dish we’ve had are SUPER!!!! If you read my reviews, you will know how particular I am with service! What I love in this place is how the staff exudes a warm and friendly atmosphere. I felt that earning money from the customers isn’t important but the good experience they feel being there and although they are full and busy, they still drop by your table, ask how we are and how we think of the dishes we’ve ordered. Treated everyone nicely. I truly highly recommend this place.

Korean approved fried chicken! Half fried & spicy sauce chicken was very close to what i used to have in Korea !

Still the best fried chicken in the area. Very sad to know they do not have chef specials anymore. The kimchi fried rice and beef soup were one of the best I’ve tried in London so far.

So far, best for chicken in New Malden. Update: after waiting 40 mins for our chicken, I've had to take off service stars 😞 . No chicken is worth that wait. But they managed to get something like 8 deliveries out in that time.

Came here to celebrate my sons 8th birthday As he wanted some fried chicken I saw this place on Tik tok so we decided to come here. The staff were nice and friendly they offered to put our homemade cake in the fridge. The food was amazing, fresh and delicious. The staff offered my mother in law more sauce as she prefers spicy food. Very attentive! There was a mishap with the payment but we managed to sort it out. Will definitely come here again and all the success for your business!

Food is great and tasty, staff are friendly and lovely but don't order delivery or even take away!! I think they should manage the customers expectations much better and they don't. I have ordered via uber eat and also direct take away both really bad experience. I was initially told delivery is 45 min to 1 hr then started to go up and it was 2 hrs and 10 min by the time i received the food. The same with take away i was told to be there 45 minutes from the time placing the order as i got there i waited another 20 min. I think it is fair if they cant handle the pressure of orders they should stop taking orders for take out and just serve the customers in the restaurant. As i mentioned i love the food but they let you down if you are not eating in and this has happened 3 times to me, slightly better experience take away at Coombes branch. The restaurant is letting down their great food by not managing expectations well. Just frustrating.

Awful service Very long delivery time and at the end we received wrong food items and when we called to talk to then about it they ignored us

This place makes the best fried chicken! Really friendly service, relaxed atmosphere, makes for a good night out. Good value too. Having visited both this branch and the New Malden High Street one, Burlington Street seems more lively. I would definitely visit again

Well worth the walk from the hotel where I was staying on Raynes Park . The staff apologised that the food would take a while but it came fast and was delicious! I'd definitely return if I'm on the area again!

Hands down the best customer service in New Malden. We’ve been so many times because my son is obsessed, and the food, service and atmosphere are always spot on. So happy there’s now an option for veggies - the no chicken nuggets are phenomenal.

The food I had was nice but not great. Tables seemed old and sticky. I can hardly call it a restaurant. Staff were so helpful, nice, and friendly, though. By the way, beer was fantastic.

I have some reluctance in writing this review, simply because I would rather this gem remains somewhat undiscovered by the masses. We have been there several times and on all occasions the food has been excellent (Eat in & Collection). When taking away the food its best ate relatively soon as left in the cardboard boxes for too long, the texture can deteriorate, they do warn of this. The service is fast, the restaurant is cosy and staff friendly.

Hands down the best wings spot and all the chicken is HALAL, our second tike back and me and my wife love it. We also love the Korean corn cheese which just a great combo. Overall nice spot and great food!

We tried various items from the menu, good portion sizes. The half and half garlic soy glazed fried chicken was really good, cooked to perfection. We tried the house special spicy glaze wings and they were ok, had more of a sweet flavour rather than a spicy flavour. Parking is right outside the restaurant. Tastes good even as takeaway the following day. Would recommend trying the food.

Tastey chicken, actaully finger lick'n. simple menu 😋 dine in is not particularly note worthy, beers are on the pricey side. May well serve better as a takeaway. Service is very slow at peak times as I think everyone knows it's delicious, been back about 3 times.

Probably the best korean fried chicken you will eat in your life, good selection of starters. Staff could have been bit more attentive as they forgot drinks and left us sittin there for 15mins whilst talking. Food wait was an hour wait but well worth it!

It’s great having such an amazing Korean fried chicken restaurant as our local. They are always lovely and friendly and don’t disappoint! I always recommend Chick and Beers to my friends and family.

Great spot and friendly staff. Chicken was superb paired nicely with some plain chips. Also ordered the Tteok-bokki but found that to be a little watery and plain.

Holy moly this is the best friend chicken have eaten (legit I'm a south London fried chicken fiend) so damn tasty, big portions non greasy and so flavoursome. The service was outstanding really friendly staff and pickles on tap. Can't rate this place enough, I can't believe I've only just found it

Great food plenty of flavour good staff

Just placed my third order in as many weeks. I went for lunch with colleagues here some time ago and was delighted to learn they would deliver to me in cheam ❤️ There is a good amount of heat and I literally devoured it! I don't know how they get it to taste so incredible and we make our own fried chicken at home! Love.

Tried their half half menu item, with half sweet chilli glaze and half normal. The chicken is really crispy but lacking flavour. If you want to try good Korean fried chicken then I recommend to try bang bang in colindale where they have amazing fried chicken. Their sweet chilli glaze taste strange to me also and lacking flavour. I'd highly recommend asking for their chilli sauce which saved the meal.

He recommended the half and half fried chicken. Freshly cooked as waited around 10 mins plus which was good as it was piping hot. Was tasty, free parking after 7pm. Would recommend, they were showing champions league football and serve beers

The food.. Is extremely good.. But the service is well.. Comedy. One Chap is brilliant and can't help enough but there is a very interesting chap who, let's be Frank.. Can't be bothered and it shows. Shame really

Yummy fried chicken and fries! They have a couple different sauces and glazes to coat your chicken with. Flavourful chicken. Shared a whole chicken between 2 of us, good size. Loved the batter, super crispy fried chicken. Nice place to sit and eat in with friendly staff.

After coming back from Korea, couldn't find any place that did korean fried chicken in UK, better than chick and beers. Very authentic and very very tasty which almost makes me feel like I was back in Korea.

I’ve come in here with my friends twice now, this place does by far, the absolute best chicken wings in England and it’s not even close. The soy glaze is literally unbelievable. All the staff are so lovely too, service is great & the prices are very fair, the only thing I wish is that I lived closer so I could get it delivered haha, keep up the great work guys!

Usually amazing, been 4-5 times but the last visit was so disappointing. Went for a birthday with 8 people, felt like deliveroo were the only priority and it took over an hour to get 1 round and food. Usually the full chicken portions are divine but this time randomly every other chicken bite was literally just battered bone or ribcage. Unfortunately really put a dampener on the evening as I'd hyped it up so much.

These are the best wing around. I have tried all of there flavours and I will try them all again. Daredevil wings and signature wings my favourite so I usually get both. all the friends and family I brought along agree they are the best wings.

Wow, what amazing explosion of flavoured chicken!!! Cooked to perfe tonight as well. Restaurant very busy but what caught my eye the most was the 3 young women running the front. They literally were run off their feet! The food took time to arrive and they were most apologetic but it was well worth the wait. Would definitely go back and I highly recommend it.

As long as the meat is tender with the right sauce/seasoning, I think good fried chicken can either have a drier/crunchier coating, or be so oily it’s literally dripping down your fingers with each bite. This is definitely the latter—loooots of crispy oily bits on the outside, and very moist and tender meat on the inside. I probably had my month’s quota for oil eating half a box! It says it’s for two to share, but my partner and I can eat well and even we were stuffed by the end. Takes about half an hour or longer to get your food, but it’s well worth the wait and comes piping hot right out of the fryer. The beer on tap is refreshingly ice cold, and a good pairing for the chicken. Definitely worth coming back again!

The best Korean chicken in London hands down. I go to this one and the New Malden station joint on a regular. No other chicken place can compete with this one! They have better chicken than the ones in Korea - you will not be disappointed!!!🍗🍗🍗

Perfect dinner. Great value, and a ridiculously nice person working there - he listened to our spiciness preferences and tweaked the menu accordingly. Walking (or rolling) out right now full as can be and breathing like a dragon.

I know it's just fried chicken, but words cannot express how damn good it is! Genuinely none of us have had chicken like it!! We opted for the half fried/half glazed with fries, onion rings and Mozzarella sticks and that was enough for the three of us. Everything was delicious and the waiter was polite and friendly. 100% recommend this place!
