Chestnut & Rose in Suffolk Coastal

I visited Chestnut and Rose for breakfast with my son last week. I ordered the creamy garlic mushrooms on sourdough, and it was an absolute delight. The mushrooms were cooked to perfection, with a rich and flavorful garlic cream sauce and the sourdough was fab. Amazing portion size and great value for money. It's clear that the staff take pride in their food, drinks and service. My coffee had a love heart on top 😍 All the cakes on the counter looked delicious, we were too full from breakfast to sample any this time but will definitely be back to try.

this is a fab location for meeting up in kesgrave and exactly something the village needs. Its a very warm welcome from the staff and the cake counter (lol)

Lovely nearly new venue! Great menu options for brunch, and you wouldn’t believe they were all meat alternatives! Fab little find will visit again soon!

Superb roast vegetable tart and a lovely pot of tea. I’m not vegan but thoroughly enjoy all the goodies Chestnut and Rose have to offer - including their take away brunch boxes. I do love my cuppa so was concerned I might not enjoy the tea because of the milk. I enjoyed it so much I asked Sarah what milk is used and now have that all the time.
