Chefs Takeaway in Hinckley and Bosworth

I rang up to place order over the phone to be told we don’t deliver to hotels because it is not in the Hinckley area and try to order on line and that was cancelled online through just eat. Will not be using these again

We are regular customer of this takeaway never had complaints about food . Good food and nice friendly staff deliver late night food . Thanks guys

Walked into shef's and straight away, wasn't looking forward to the food, Never seen a more miserable person !!!!! Very, very, very poor customer service to start !! Ordered a couple of kebabs, pitta cut straight across the flat, with fillings ( cold and tasteless ) just Dumped on top..... Tried to eat most of it, but failed. Not surprisingly, so not to waste too much, decided to give the meat to the cat, and even she wouldn't eat it, and she eats everything. !!¡!! STRONGLY ADVISE TO AVOID and go to Mc Donald's instead. !!!!!!!!

Ordered via Just Eat for family of adults. Delivery was quicker than predicted and reasonable amount of time. Polite delivery staff. Food was a mixture of burgers, kebabs & Mexican food with various sides & drinks. The food was hot, fresh & well presented. The flame grilled chicken in the kebab was moist & tender with a fresh mixed portion of salad and the homemade chilli sauce is really tasty. The chicken enchiladas were a huge hit too & my family have ordered these many times before. Always good quality food, good portion sizes, fair pricing & good delivery times. Small delivery and debit card handling charges. Will order again soon.

Told food would arrive around an hour after ordering. Arrived 15mins later. Obviously not cooked fresh. Chips were like eating cardboard. Then get charged a 50p service charge on top of a £2 delivery. Awful salad served in a plastic bag. Never again

Delivery moved back 30 minutes then restaurant phoned 20 minutes after accepting order asking for extra money (because just eat was wrong) or they would cancel the order. After an argument they delivered two cold pizzas. Won't ever order from them again. AVOID.

I was not happy as I put not ring the buzzer in capital letters and to ring my number instead and yet they rang the buzzer and didn't call the number and then after all that my order was wrong I was not happy with the service I got and would not order from here again

Some days are good some days not good but yesterday was tasty and my son really enjoyed it

Food was ok. Chefs added extra 25mins to waiting time for some reason. Not as though we had massive order. Delivered just as we were about to ring and cancel. Delivery driver was very polite and friendly though. Dishier than the meal by far! 😘

ordered from here a few times and it's usually good but last time was rubbish ordered a kebab asked for salad but it came with no salad on it ? also ordered Fanta and got tango ?!

ordered deep pan pizzas, arrived as thin base, 30mins was added to the delivery time and then the food came 45 mins early which wasn't ideal, also left a note to be rang when it arrived without the doorbell being rang, this was not obeyed.

Booked in advance for 8.30 when I got home, the time was pushed back to 8.50 but then I got a call at 7.30 saying they were outside! Fine if I'd picked as soon as possible, but I deliberately stated an hour later. All worked out in the end and the driver was lovely about it all but the shop shouldn't have sent it so early.

The only gripe is a deep pan pizza is a thinner than thin crust

Some of the meat was of poor quality, very very tough. But the majority of it was really nice. Only real negative was the amount of Sauce you are given in those little pots. The kebab I ordered was a large meal, with chips, and I wasn't given enough hot sauce. The sauce could have also been a lot hotter, but I know that isn't for everyone's taste

Delivery time was an hour and 40 minutes for "fast food" that is preposterous! Phoned to cancel order and staff member was rude. Paid by card so will now have a battle to get a refund no doubt. Cannot comment on food quality as we never had it.

If you like your food crispy and well cooked, put it on the order.

Great service from the takeaway. Let down by just eat. I would suggest actual delivery times. Just eat over estimated delivery time by 2 hours!

Food cold and tasted terrible. Chicken nuggets chewy and over cooked. Kebab cold and meat very chewy and I appreciate it was flame grilled? But was burnt. Won't be ordering from here again. Very Poor.

Terrible service. Half the order didn't arrive. Then they didn't answer the phone. Turned up with the food 30 minutes later and it was cold. Never again.

Bought from Chefs many times. This occasion was terrible. Ordered the chefs burger that came with an over cooked and rock hard burger, under cooked, chewy and slimy bacon and a bun so burnt it was completely black on top! I don't expect an amazing burger at 1am from a take away place but this was awful!

Forgot salad Not enough sauce

We ordered our food and waited for our delivery, the driver was looking for our number he was flying around and at one point he must of been doing 40 mph whilst reversing. When we opened our food it was all upside down and just a mess. will be going somewhere else next time.

Less ingredients than advertised, when I rang to complain, didn't careless and argued with me!!!

2 out of the 4 things I ordered was right but the others items weren't instead of giving me cheese on my chips they gave me a cheese burger with chips... but they got the food to me quick.

Left a message to have the sauce in the pots. Food turned up with sauce on top of the food. Asked the driver to take it back and do no sauce, he promised 15 minutes tops. Got a call from the store - either I wait an hour or have my money back. All because apparently they won't put sauce on the side and I ordered it wrong (first time ordering) and the driver was in the wrong. Absolutely disgusting. Still waiting for my money back.

Tolled me 45 minutes. After that we rang them and they said about another 45 as they had one driver. If you want your food more then hour and a half then Order from here with out one sorry for your time. Never again at all.

Delivery took half an hour longer than the hour and twenty minutes stated. Meal was incomplete. The salad was missing.

Ordered food for 9pm for when my wife gets home, it turns up at 8pm 1 hour early.. I told him too early he shrugged his shoulders put food in door and walked off... Very rude man. Had to warm food up in oven as it was too early... Never ising again after that!!!!

I've had no end of takeaways from these over the years. A very happy customer. We've learned not to order Mexican on a weekend as usually too busy to do it, but we've had it on a week night many times, delicious. My fave takeaway in town for sure

I order at 1.27am, the order should be delivered 2:20am and no one came, it is 2:52am now. The order here at the website shows delivered at 2.20am... we were even waiting outside of the house.... :(

Horrible food... Burger with no salad on it? When you ask for a chicken burger you get buns and 2 peices of chicken. I didn't know it was so legitimate. 😅 Never going to order food from here again.

It's a burger/pizza/mexican takeaway. The good is good, cheap eats, but the staff are unfriendly. We got ordered on their web page online, then got a phone call back berating us for doing so and demanding we should call or use Just Eat instead. If you don't want us to order on your webpage, why have it? The food is good, not fine dining, but sometimes you just want a burger, and this is as good as you'll find.

Ordered at 7.06 with delivery then confirmed for 8.20. Gave them until 8.46 until i spoke to them and then to add insult to injury it then said it had been delivered when our order hadn't. Had to raise it with Just Eat and got given a voucher as a giod will gesture. I will not be ordering from these guys again.

Food turned up nearly an hour later than stated it was cold and after I had paid the driver came back claiming I had only given him ,£1 will never order from there again.

Although the meal was delivered promptly, the order was poorly executed. The fries had no cheese with them and the pizza was cold and definately not thin & crispy. Tbey should rename their pizza base soggy & undercooked.

Ordered BBQ chicken base and came with tomato base and only one pizza had mixed peppers instead of two. Usually food is very good from this takeaway but today was not so good

Got the order wrong - didn't include salad as requested and paid for and also sent full sugar Coke rather than diet. Also - very poor quality meat. Avoid this place.

We had a takeaway meal from Chefs although not our first. We all had the chicken and donner kebab on naan bread and as usual it was superb. Tasty fresh and delivered quickly. If you like kebabs try this one.

The food was lovely but I asked for bbq sauce on the kebabs and they all came without any sauce so they all seemed very dry.

The orders were wrong! We ordered tacos and didn't receive them! It was extremely expensive and wasn't very nice

When the order came they had forgot the pop and cake so had to call them... man on phone very rude.. saying well I gave it him ..I'll ring him.. and put phone down on me. No sorry. When I opened my Mexican quesadilla. .. it was rock hard, burnt and hardly any filling. My sons fries looked like yesterday's left overs. Dry and over cooked. I rang them and the customer service was absolutely disgraceful. He argued with me for 6 mins. He kept repeating they are supposed to be well done.. people dont like them soggy. like I said I'd ordered this dish from them many times and it's never burnt like this. I said if it was previously like this I wouldn't of kept re-ordering. He said there is nothing I can do... you cannot get a refund as you order through just eat. I said I don't want money I wanted a replacement .. he said no I cannot. He said I cannot do nothing as I just take orders. Delivered really quickly, potato wedges weren't the best but overall meal was amazing
