Hello I am sir Hudson, I am writing this formal review to congratulate the head chef I presume. On his great victory of having the best exquisite curry half & half in newtownabbey! Matter of fact in the great N.I. My other half decided to test her taste buds on adventuring to a satay sauce covered chip and have been told it was tremendous and tickled said taste buds. One again from Mrs Hudson and I, a big CONGRATULATIONS. God bless and amen 🙏

food arrived cold and without one of the main dishes. first time ordering from her and I won't be ordering again. very very disappointed!

Only second time ordering from you and very disappointed on timings and meal was freezing. You were recommended to us and am disappointed with this as meals are nice but not when cold and over half an hour after extended time given by you. Ordered before 5.45 and was meant to be with us by 6.35 which was changed to 5.40 but didn’t get until 7.10 and was cold . And no apology!!

Was really nice and so quick. Defo my fav to go to in glengormley. Never any problems .

I asked for a special chow mein and they sent me a Singapore chow mein and it was in eatable

Didn't get my order. The order was placed at 7:30PM I phoned at 9:00pm and was told it would be another 30 mins or more I explained I had been waiting 1hr and 30mins already and I got a very rude response. It was bad enough waiting on the food arriving and trying to be patient with a very hungry 10yr old but to get the response I got was uncalled for so I ended up cancelling the order

app said it was delivered but the food never came

rang and told them to deliver asap. Girl said yes no worries...Food was freezing, chips seemed to have been cooked a few times. also leaked all over bag nothing was wrapped up.

food beautiful as always. delivery faster than expected and always friendly. so much food in the meal for one... it could feed three lol

Ordered chow mein with chips as the side but didnt recieve the chips when the food arrived. Called the restaurant to say they were missing and was told chips arent actually included despite what it says on Just Eat. Not sure why they couldnt have just quickly rang me and explained this instead of wasting time and money, i never usually have any issues ordering from Chef King.

Good was nice thoe wen ordered food restaurant added 25 mins delivery time on n it was still 50mins later wen it arrived

ordered food at around 7:45 and told it would be delivered at around 8:10 then the restaurant added 30 minutes to that time so expected food at 8:40 but food was not delivered until 9:15 ridiculous waiting time for food that wasn't that great definitely not worth it

will never use here again just a joke waiting hour and half for my good with no explanation

I ordered my food and a can of drink and it was 30mins late and also never received my drink that I paid for food was nice tho

added 25 minutes on to delivery time and came 20 minutes after that

Food was good however chicken balls were really greasy and salty. The food arrived 25 minutes late and when we tried to call the restaurant it wouldn't go through. We triedo calling around 10 times and no answer.

I pre ordered my meal for 7pm and it showed up at 5pm, at which time I wasn't in my house and my friend had to then put it in the microwave for me, had to reheat the food and by then I just wasn't even in the mood for it anymore..can't complain about it being late anyways lol

Food was good. Delivery want to long. Only bad thing was there was a lot of garlic used

I am so glad I gave this place another chance after having one bad experience Salt and chilli chicken really crispy and tasty Kung po great flavour even the fried rice was tasty! Beef chow mein so tasty!

Food is always great from here. But delivery times are shocking. The restaurant clearly doesn't utilise just eat as well as other establishments do. They don't update if your order will be late, so it actually showed our order had been delivered 30 mins previously! So we had to call them to which they stated that the food was with the driver, which I highly doubt as another 20 minutes wait and he finally turned up only to tell us that we owed an extra 50p for delivery (why won't the restaurant update their delivery charge on just eat???). The food is always lovely but honestly others places do food just as nice and update just eat regularly so you know where your order is and how much you need to pay. Unless they sort out their order system and delivery times I can't justify waiting an hour and a half for food (with no indication it would be more than 45 minutes), having to call the restaurant which negates the point of using just eat, and then having to pay extra delivery on top of what my order stated. Sorry chef king but it's just not good enough 👎

We have been getting from chef king for ages. Food really gorgeous and always delivered on good time. Would def. recommend 👌🏻

Took an incredibly long time for food to arrive and it was only once I had placed my order they made me aware of this. As soon as I paid and placed the order they added an extra 30 mins waiting time. Secondly this restaurant takes absolutely no heed of any instructions/requests that you add in the box at the end. And to top it all the food was average at best. Wouldn't recommend.

Uggh. Ordered a mixed grill with no gravy. They sent it with gravy anyway... the typical super-thick chip-shop gravy. On bacon, and liver! Crazy. Totally inedible.

Food was delicious and quickly delivered. Wrong sauce on meal but they sent out another meal and I received the second before the original delivery time had passed.

Good food. Was a little bit cold and a lot of garlic was used in my dishes. The delivery time was excellent and the restaurant service was great.

Was delighted with my salted chilli chicken when it arrived at 12am after a day of drinking 10/10 would buy again, good value for money too 🤗

1st time trying out of here hubby was impressed by Deep fried Chicken Peking hope to try something else another night

Was disappointed the black bean sauce didn't taste right it was taste salty and burnt and the chicken was no better. However the curry sauce was very nice.. maybe a busy night but quality wasn't that good. Delivery driver was very pleasant

Loved my food and I know my chinese. Sauces were amazing. Girl on the phone taking my order was friendly and helpful. Think I've found my new fave chinese after a house move (and I stuck with my last local for ten years).

Placed an order tonight for 4 of us. Not a very tricky order or so I thought. Food arrived and after a 12 hour shift I wasn't too please to find my half and half missing. Rang back to be told this would be sorted then got a rude call back to tell me I didn't order this even though I repeated the order to ensure it was right and if I want it I would have to pay delivery again. Only saving grace was the delivery man who was lovely and told me to forget about delivery

Only asked for one thing to be left out- vegetables. However, this was unable to be met and I ended up with slimy food. Also, the chicken was extremely rubbery. But delivery time was amazing.

Honey chilli chicken was quite bland, chicken was very chewy and soggy Chicken balls were rubbery Forgot one tin of juice

Would definitely order from Chef King again, have always like their food as do my family. If your looking a good curry don't by pass Chef king, go in and or go online and check out their menu. Delivery quick and friendly staff. : )

Food was absolutely gorgeous. There's a small problem with delivery charge not being fully taken online, meaning I had to fish for extra change for the driver after I thought I'd paid, but otherwise nicest chinese ever.

Food was alright, but even after delaying the delivery 20 mins immediately after order they were then 40 mins later than that

Beef was chewy and stringy. Not the quality of previous orders from them.

very disapointed as i get from here all the time, my meal was inedible beef was chewy onions were hard skins, chips were over cooked, prawns just went in the bin as they were cold, not to mention ordered at 8.40 and didnt arrive to 10pm.

Absolutely awful. Took nearly 90 minutes to arrive and tasted horrendous. This takeaway used to be nice but this is the last time I'll ever order from them.

Meal arrived when it said it would but the Meal arrived cold so rather unhappy with my food and whole order.

Should be a 0 star opinion! So order was due at 18:40 called at 19:10 was told order had left they were very budy so 35 mins later it arrived not a sorry nothing food is ice cold chips are hollow prawn cracker stale! Contacted just eat who called chef king who refused to refund and said there was a crash and held driver up which is bs theres more then 1 route to take! Absolutely disgraceful ! Food isnt even eat able and it was a treat for the kids! Shame on chef king!

Definitely an improvement on the beef curry from last time I ordered much more taste to it as last few times it was not great and blame. Noodles were lovely. Delivery time was average.

Prawn crackers are so bad.the sauce from one container spilled all over the bag. Food was not very warm

Initially placed order however my address didn't update. The girl in restaurant called me up with an attitude. Reordered the food and whilst the curry itself was hot and delicious I did bite into a piece of METALA in one of the bits of chicken which I still have and will be going to them to show them as looks and feels like bit of a staple.

Won't be ordering again as sitting waiting for it for half hour for it to be declined see ya later

Excellent delivery time and food really hot

Only complaint was that I stated no onions no vegetables but when my delivery came (beef curry with rice and chips) it was full of onions. I had ordered it through just eat so I had made it clear in the notes.

Delivery fee was actually 4 pound. Food was awesome

Terrible customer service skills from front of house in this place. Placed several orders usually always something wrong or missing. Real let down stay clear.

Order took 1hr 45m to be delivered. When I called to see where it was the woman didn't apologise and didn't seem to care we'd been waiting for so long. Terrible, terrible service. Seems if ordered through Just Eat you're at the back of the queue.

Lovely food, the staff are kind and helpful witch is always a plus. It doesn't cost an arm and a leg for great food with chef king! Definitively recommend, LOVE THE SALT N CHILLI CHICKEN & HONEY CHILLI CHICKEN..

Delivery online tells you its £2 but its actually £2.50. Might need to update price online! A minor complaint really.
