Yum Sing in Newtownabbey

Honestly the nicest Chinese takeaway there is! I have been using this Chinese for nearly a decade and every meal has been incredible. The staff are incredibly lovely and the food is exceptional - recommend the Singapore chow mein or the Mongolian chicken 🤤

Placed order over the fone and went to collect. Was told i cudnt pay by card! Had to go and find a working atm which took ages. Back to pay food was freezing. Told girl it wud b a good idea to let customers on fone know that they didnt take cards. Her reply " it says on the door" hard to see wen ur ordering by fone and its nower near wer u live and wer trying it for the 1st time!!! Needless to say we wont be back. Thanks for nothing Yum Sing. Def not expecting a reply to this.

Was shocked to receive four small pieces of prawn toast for £5.50. Most takeaways charge about £7 for two rounds of toast which is already expensive but this was one round. Looked and felt like a rip off. Shame because food seems OK but can't justify that price.

Spent 50 minutes waiting on a portion of chips …I get an hour break from my job… will not be back!

I get the special fried rice but change the sauce to satay and it makes a nasi goreng its lovely 😍

Went on new years eve was busy but they were still quick enough and the food was delicious. It kept the in-laws happy too which is always a good thing. Will definitely be back.

I've been getting takeaway out of here for the past couple of years I usually get a kids meal only a fiver cause I live in my own it's big enough for me i usually get a gravy half and half or a curry half and half there is a woman there with blond hair she tried to charge me 50 p extra then I went the other nite and she said we don't half and half the owner was standing beside her I said that lady always gives me that no problem

Got a meal deal last night, chicken curry, honey chilli chicken, with rice and chips, food was delicious, price was fantastic and staff were welcoming and helpful, one of the nicer chinese takeaways. Definatley be back. Yumsing is yummeeeee

Jeez this place is up & down like a YOYO, got the so called £13.90 meal deal only to receive 2 small tubs for the mains. Hardly a deal then and to be frank you could get 2 mains in most takeaways for that price. The boiled beef in my curry really wasn't nice at all, a shame yet again as it was on the up this while back.

Food is very good. Always add salted chilli chips. Fantastic

No matter how many times you ask for xtra curry & extra hot .. you don't get it .. their synapore chow Mein is the worst I've tasted !! Dry flavorless no meat !! No chicken !! I don't normally Complain or even review.. but I've tried on several occasions now & their attitude when spoke to about this is non customer satisfaction whatsoever!! No apology no refund nor discount or even a free meal the next time .. Such a pity too cause their chips are actually the nicest in Glengormley and their curry !! If only they cud make it xtra hot when asked .. and top & bottom like they promise when we pay extra for .. definitely not worth the xtra prices compared to all the others in Glengormley !! Sorry but true !! Really won't be back this time

Really Tender Fresh Chicken breast, which is Hard to find in any Chinese these days. Great tasting sauces, Try their Red Thai special Combo curry, Or their Satay Special Combo, simply Full of Flavour.👍

Great food here. Ordered via telephone and food delivered extremely fast. Lovely flavours and good portions. Fresh and hot.

Super fresh food and very tasty. It was also incredibly swift. Fried rice just what you'd want from a Chinese, chop suey had the freshest veg we've ever had from a take away and the crispy fried beef was lush. Worth every penny.

Ordered famy dish which was for 4 people but comfortably went round 6 people, tasty and good price, quick delivery, always a pleasure ordering from here.

Gotta give credit where credit's due, gave a negative review for here some time ago but have had several takeaways from here over the last load of months and its almost back to how it was when it first opened. Curry, Satay, Blackbean or Oyster sauce all really good, so glad it's super tasty again!

Best Chinese in Glengormley. Get the Mongolian chicken

Having tried numerous Chinese takeaways in the area after moving to glengormley I've found this one to be the best. Huge tasty portions and my order has always been correct. Would recommend a visit, can't comment on the delivery service as I've collected each time I've been.

If not thee best Chinese takeaway in glengormley alongside Asian kitchen. Some Chineses you find that their meals can be really salty this chinese is fine in that department.

Absolute awful customer service...been tryin to get through to the shop for an hour and half to tell them wat bits was missing to start eating it and find out how tasteless and dry it was...had to text delivery driver to ask the shop to ring me and eventually 3 hours later got a refund and was able to reorder dinner after 9 at nite for the kids from somewhere diff!! Dont give them ur money...order elsewhere!!!

I have recently switched to this take away after the closure of another that I miss badly but so far Yum Sing has not disappointed. Sometimes very difficult to get through to them on the phone at peak times.

This is my new takeaway favourite in Glengormley. Delicious food and the most amazing chips / salt 'n' chilli chips, very large portion, taste as good as any chippy chips. The only problem is they are not very reliable with delivery service so we always just collect.

Use this takeaway all the time the dishes are very tasty and the staff are really nice. Highly recommended

Best chinese in the area get once a week never got a bad meal, extremely busy but that’s a good sign, tasted lots of different dishes and I personally highly recommend Thai red chicken curry boiled rice, their chips are homemade really good for s chinese, but expensive but good big portions and st the end of the day you get what you pay for. Highly recommend

Never acctually heard of this place but i got 12 phone calls asking to place an order, the google page had yum sings phone number saved as my number along with yum sings facebook page!!!!!!!!!!

Fantastic Chinese may be slightly more expensive than others in area but you pay for what you get. Always busy so sometimes better to collect instead of waiting on delivery.

We tried this one when I spotted the nearest Chinese to Straid had got a 1/5 hygiene rating (!). No such concerns here. We ordered by phone and picked up, and will use them again. My husband had forgotten to order his dish and they made it up straight away. We had a variety of dishes between 6 of us and all were delicious. Reasonable prices. Only not 5* because there's no online menu, even from their Facebook page. Sort it out please owners, this is 2018!!

Lovely place for a Chinese take away always get thare special fried rice it is a take away not a sit in but the staff r very nice and good price and also tasty is always my first choice

The only Chinese I would order from. Food is fantastic and much less greasy than other takeaways. Love the curry and honey chilli chicken with cashew nuts.

Having moved from their old premises on the Carnmoney Road, the Yum Sing is probably the nicest Chinese takeaway in Glengormley, the food is delicious with really good portions and their curry is amazing 😊

Great if you can get through. Delivery takes well over an hour although they will tell you it's on its way when it isn't! Seems to be losing customers all over the place

Absolutely disgraceful, ordered a takeaway at 7.33pm called the tale away 1hr 30mins later and struggled to get through and eventually the phone picked up and the girl on the end was clearly on the other line bitching about the the customers and at what time she was gonna get home at, I eventually hung up with no communication, and tried ringing again and eventually got through another 20mins later and the girl answered and informed me that the food wasn't even made yet, and I asked to speak to the manager and she said no and I then said I would be down to speak to the manager and she then passed to senior member of staff I can presume and after my complaint for waiting for - near 2 hour wait for delivery she said so what!!!! Disgraceful customer service and I will never be ordering again, and I will be telling anyone I can in the area about my horrible experience

Called to make an order for delivery. An hour later I rang again as there was so sign of it. The girl on the phone assured me it was still there and would be delivered asap. 2 hours and 25 minutes later still not delivered!!...

This is definitely the best carry out Chinese in this area. Just recently moved from Carnmoney Road to Ballyclare Road. They do a delivery service and are very prompt. Try their salted chilli pork (delish)
