Impersonal experience, you have to order vía an iPad. Slow service and poor quality straws that don't last long. Drinks were OK.

The female cashier is very impolite. Besides, she even cheated on the price!!! Small drinks could charge you the big size price. If you don't discover this, she keeps the money. Beware of this black shop.

Cha time is a rip off Decided to order ahead on the app to save us queuing. Turned up to collect. Our drink wasn’t even being prepared since it was just 1 guy doing everything. The queue was also long. It took a good 10-15 mins before he announced quietly that they were out of bubble/balls. I had to try and butt in between people ordering to ask where our order was. He offered a different bubble option for my child’s drink Thing is we actually paid a premium for different types. Tried to contact Chatime on the app to request partial refund. Still no one has bothered to look at my chat to respond. Do not lose your money to this scam crappy chain Bubble teas are overpriced tea with jelly bits.

Best bubble tea everrrr!! Recommend the Taro Milk Tea with pearls! It’s just yummy! A very refreshing drink :) and just the perfect combination on a summer day.

Warning to all their customers, DO NOT buy drinks there! Ordered a Lychee black tea and was so shocked to see that this tall, long hair, slim, male , chinese staff prepare drinks with ice that fell on the floor! Then he suddenly grab the dirty rag and rinse it before doing my drinks! The drinks taste like dirty rag after 30 mins wait! Disgusting tea shop! Reported to Westminster Council.

Haven't had bubble tea in 11 years! Chatime taste exactly like the ones in Hong Kong! It was nice! The price was reasonable, the service was great! Definitely will be going back whenever I get the chance too!

Horrible bubble tea with sticky and over boiled tapioca. I am a big fan of Chatime brand worldwide. Yesterday (22/2/2022) went first time in to the branch In Chinatown (London). Slow service first of all. Me and my boyfriend were completely ignored or discriminated with no eye contact and chance to be served. The waiter forgot to give us a ticket with waiting order number of the order so i had to ask myself. They put ice into the drink but I asked without!! Also the main and the worst part is the final product. The overboiled sticked and wrongly boiled tapioca were impossible to suck whatsoever! Through that paper straw was impossible to drink the tea and disgusting tapioca and the milk tea looked like the milk/cream was off and had weird bits inside. Never coming back and now having doubts about the whole chatime brand unfortunately which was my favourite

Came here for bubble tea after a long time. Queue took much longer than expected. Server was friendly and helpful though they didn't have the flavour I wanted. Tastes good, but a bit pricey. But decent overall!

Don't expect super fast service would be my first message. However, mr.impatient here was impressed with the quality of the tea. Huge amount of choice (see menu) I went with the old favourite - milk tea with pearl. Normal amount of sugar and ice (never knew that was a choice). Tasted great and the tapioca "pearls" were of a good size and chewy. £4.50 for the large size. Would definitely visit again!

I buy a lot online on chatime app or deliveroo. Most of the time they send me a wrong order, broken or something is missing. It's very difficult to contact their customers service because chatime app doesnt work properly so my only option was contacting them on Instagram. Even though I told them about the issue they didn't care in fact I still receive missing products and I had to text them several time for a refund. Very poor customer service nobody cares and listens

My daughter bought a few large teas. Charged for various items but did not give popping balls. My daughter returned to query that she could not see them & told by staff she had put them in the tea. Other staff insisted she had witnessed. My daughter apologised and backed off. This happened before a few months ago. Charge for them is on sticker & my bill. Don’t trust them.

Lots of choices and the bubble tea here is great! It is a busy place during hot days but if you are lucky you can manage to sit inside but most people just get a takeaway.

Je l'ai testé la première fois dans le quartier de chinatown à Londres et à Paris à Châtelet. Rien à dire à part que ce soit l'un des meilleurs bubble tea que j'ai goûté. Large choix, possibilité d'être servi chaud ou froid. Le personnel est agréable et le rapport qualité prix est convenable. Seul bémol c'est qu'on ne puisse pas s'installer sur place pour déguster notre thé.

Mi amigo y yo decidimos tomar Bubble Tea y después de esperar un rato finalmente nos llamaron al mostrador. Allí comenzó todo el drama, cuando en lugar de MI orden, accidentalmente toqué la orden de MI AMIGO (¡cómo me atrevo!). El empleado se asustó y de una manera muy mezquina gritó "ESTO NO ES TUYO" y lo sacó agresivamente de mi mano. Tan irrespetuoso, tarde o temprano me habría dado cuenta al mirar el color. Por un segundo, mi amigo y yo nos quedamos sin palabras, ya que no podíamos creer que alguien con tales modales pudiera trabajar en el servicio al cliente. La cola siempre está fuera de la puerta, pero vale la pena! El té de burbujas es muy rico aquí. También muy personalizable, probablemente una de las variedades más grandes de ingredientes que he visto en comparación con otros lugares de té de burbujas.

Probamos prácticamente el té de burbujas de todos los lugares y Chatime tiene que ser el mejor de todos. Hay bebidas preparadas o tienes la capacidad de crear las tuyas propias. I used to have Chatime back in Jakarta and so happy to found one in London! We had Chatime milk tea with tapioca pearl and really enjoyed it. What's good is you can adjust the sweetness of it - I suggest you go for half sugar as they are quite sweet even for me who's a sweet tooth! Oh do download their app and your 1st drink is 50% off!! It's so good we bought one more to have back at home!!

I am a regular customer of Chatime and ordered Oolo Milk Tea with regular sugar as usual today. However, when I received the drink, it is unbelievably sweet and the assistant just impatiently told me that the order stated the right things so must be it! I suggested them to try the sweetness of the drink (as they are still some solid sugar crystal condensed in the bottom of the cup) and they said they would not try the drink since it has been contaminated by the saliva!!!(so mean and rude). Therefore, this store makes terrible drinks and has the worst service ever. I will not suggest it to anyone!

To the unitiated, this is bubble tea like they serve in Hong Kong. It's really different and everything on the menu is totally unique and you will not find it in any mall in the uk.

住喺倫敦唔難搵到珍珠奶茶，不過要搵到好飲嘅珍珠奶茶就比較難，位於華人街嗰度有好幾間珍珠奶茶店，淨係日出茶太喺倫敦都有好多間分店，不過我就比較喜歡去華人街嘅呢間日出茶太，最主要嘅原因係調配得比較好飲茶夠濃唔會溝水，調配份量都控制得比較好, 去過其他分店每次小糖味道都唔一樣。

The waiting time is short, the drinks are tasty and there is plenty of things to choose from, but be prepared that they often miss some items from the menu. If you are a bubble tea pro you will easily find something you like in there. There are only seats for about 5 people inside, it's mostly a take away joint. Also they only take cash, so prepare some change.

Long queues can be off putting. Small interior , wet , dirty floors .. From spillages ....small seating area can be a tight squeeze.Well if you're thirsty and desperate for bubble tea ...then you need to forget the woes of what you see ! If you see a queue ...and you have a lot to time with no hurry ...then try the milky bubble tea....otherwise try a less busy time.

First and foremost, the prices were absolutely ridiculous. I ordered the 'Sakura Sencha' and it was disgusting, but I won't hold that against them as it was just my poor choice. My boyfriend ordered the roasted milk tea and was confused at the lack of bubbles; I explained to him that bubbles were 50p extra. He also said it just tasted like any old soy milk you find at an Asian supermarket. The wait was incredibly long for a bubble tea store, considering there weren't many people in front of us. The store was also slightly cramped, which became a problem because of the waiting time. Quite disappointed, but willing to possibly visit again to give them a second chance.

As a Taiwanese in the UK I have always been very passionate about bubble tea shops in the UK. And the fact that I've actually been to Chatime in Taiwan makes me feel even more attached and nostalgic.The visit to this overseas branch, though, was an utter disappointment.We ordered our drinks after a very long wait, which I was patient enough for all the excitement and expectations - just to find out that my favourite grass jelly was sold out - fine, we ordered bubbles and pudding milk tea.After another long wait our number was called out by a very grumpy woman with a pony tail and cosmetic eye-enlarging contact lenses, we happily pierced the packages with the straws but noticed that both cups had bubbles in them. We immediately notified the grumpy woman and said that we order one bubble and one pudding, she looked at the label (which said pudding but had bubbles in it) and grabbed my boyfriend's drink, took the film off, scooped up some pudding and splashed them into the cup (which still had bubbles in it). She turned around and handed the straw that was in the cup to me (milk tea was dripping all over the bench top) and commanded: "hold the straw!" - no please, no thanks. Then she tried to re-seal the cup with overflowing milk tea pouring all over the place. I stood there and watched her in shock, still with that straw in my hand.My boyfriend was also in shock. As if he'd only realised that all this was happening and said: "what if I said I don't want the bubbles?" - note that the bubbles were STILL in the cup. She then frowned at my boyfriend. At this point I gave the straw to my boyfriend - which was still dripping sugary milk tea, sticky all over and fell on the bench, so he just put it in the bin next to him.Infuriated by the woman's attitude he said to the her: "I don't want the bubbles." The women immediately responded in a very hostile attitude: "You just said it was ok!"The man that took our order finally came and helped out. They FINALLY decided to make a new drink for my boyfriend and - remember that straw? The woman wouldn't give us a new straw (despite of the old straw being passed around and dropping on the bench) and asked us to pay 10p for a new one - because of THEIR mistake.We left the shop disappointed and disgusted.The drink itself was alright, bog-standard milk tea with bubbles. Although it tasted really bitter and felt over-priced after all that.

I love their bubble tea both the milk and fruit one. There are a few branches around most the time I visit the Canary Wharf one. My friend with me ordered non dairy chocolate milk tea but they actually put milk in which was troubleling as she is lactose intolerant. it was too late before we realised.so staff need to pay more attention even if they are busy.

Busy tea outlet, many queue to have their tea take away and price is not cheap. I think this chain is from North America and it serves 'fusion tea'. It is not to my taste but may be interesting if you want to know how to toy with tea making: you can order your cup with whatever ingredients from the menu like a cook.For fun rather than for the tea.

I went to the chatime in china town, Trafalgar square, and I have to say this was the best bubble tea I have ever had! The service was excellent, especially considering we visited during Chinese New Years (very busy) yet we were waiting no longer than 5 minutes! The staff were very pleasant and the tea was to the best standards. Would highly recommend anyone as there are so many flavours to suit anyone's pallet! Will be sure to visit on my next trip!!

Sur Gerrard Street, cette petite boutique, qui a beaucoup de succès, sert de bon thé au lait.L’attente est assez rapide, en fonction de l’heure à laquelle on arrive, on est plus ou moins vite servi.Il faut bien choisir les options proposées, payer, attendre qu’on nous appelle avec le numéro inscrit sur le ticket.Tout est fait sur place, c’est frais et propre.La caissière est réactive, rapide et souriante.A l’intérieur, il y a un petit banc pour attendre ou s’asseoir et dehors, un autre banc pour 2 ou 3 personnes.Il y en a d’autres aux alentours mais Chatime est pour moi le meilleur de Chinatown.A conseiller sans hésitation.

I chose the pearl milk tea with less sugar and no ice. It was so tasty and unique. The top was sealed so I could walk for a bit without opening it. Price reasonable for £3.45.I can't wait to visit again :)

The taste was good and the set up is clean and efficient.They have tea base brewed in different containers and will then add the toppings based on your order. You can also choose on sweetness and ice. I would like to see a better menu though as it was a little confusing and difficult to find what you want. Maybe consider having more photos so that the drinks can be pictured because not everybody knows what they are.

Chatime is my fav franchise when it comes to bubble tea with a wide range available from their menu and it's always super busy and worth the wait!

Great bubble tea! A lot of different flavours and the taste is always really good! I always go here when I am in Chinatown.

I have been to quite a few bubble tea shops in and about Chinatown since my family and friends all enjoy it. For me this is probably the worst I've been to.Firstly, the queue. Super long, and for what? Below-the-average, expensive bubble tea. When my friend was ordering the server looked at her like she was pure evil and was practically stabbing the keyboard with items. When it came to my turn I had no idea what she was saying because she was speaking so fast her sentences became one long jumbled slur and I sort of just had to guess at my orders and hope they got through (they certainly looked like they didn't). We only ordered two drinks but it came up to something like £9.95. I know some places just twenty metres away where you can get two much better tasting drinks for less.Then the drinks themselves, after being delivered by another surly, untalkative staff member who said 'do you want a bag?' like it was a threat. When my friend asked for straws she rolled her eyes and stabbed two straws she grabbed from underneath the table into our drinks before scrunching up our receipt into the small bin beside it. Nice to know they keep records. My drink was meant to be a summer refresher with aloe vera (yes, it was winter, but it was the only one that appealed to me that day) but turned out to be super bitter, and the aloe vera had been cut too large and got stuck up the straw so I had to either suck incredibly hard and hope it fit or break open the whole thing and fiddle around, and then I would have had juice going everywhere.I've always felt that the super long boards filled with endless names that all sound and look exactly the same with different types of bubbles and toppings and juices and sugar levels and ice levels are just confusing. I'm sure someone does drink a large honeydew fruit quench with little sugar and lots of ice with aloe vera toppings and at a cold temperature as much as someone might have a small hazelnut chatime milk tea with lots of sugar and a little ice with strawberry pearls that was lukewarm, but it's very bewildering to an average customer when someone gives you a list of choices you haven't prepared for yet and they're eyeing you like snakes.Mark my words, there are better places to go than this.

As a Taiwanese who studies in London, I have been there for a few times to find the solution of my homesickness. The bubbles are good and the milk tea is alright, but sometimes it goes wrong and disappointed me. I have been there last week and ordered a 奶蓋鐵觀音 with bubble, which is the Tie-Guan-Yin Tea covered with condensed milk cream. The proper one should looks obviously two colours. However, I really don't understand why I have got one which is already stirred or shake, so it looks and tastes like the normal tie-guan-yin milk tea...It really made me angry as the type of tea is more expensive than normal milk tea. Also, my drink was not totally packed by the palafilm, so my coat was spilled by the drink. I think the staff should be more cautious when serving the drink!

None of the other tea places beat this place. The best tasting tea (I always get the milk tea with pudding). Other places has nice tea but now where near good as Chatime. It's literally the perfect blend. I come here every time. The peach green tea was also lovely (my friends favourite).Every time I go to China town, I have to go to Cha time for my post dim sum desert.

Loads of friends has told me about chatime and I finally had a chance to tryout. I ordered chatime milk tea with pearls and my fd ordered matcha with pearls, The taste of milk tea was okay but the pearl is already harden. My fd's matcha was horrible, the powder was not mix probably and the drink was in between water and matcha.

They serve up some very nice milk tea indeed. We generally had a good experience. It's a bit pricey but I would say it's worth it. The service given by the staff is ok but the place is very small with almost nowhere to sit. This coupled with the sheer amount of people that come to the place makes it very much cramped a lot of the time. I would be better if they got a bigger premises.

Chatime is one of the go to places for us whenever in London. Although we do not visit it every single time it is a craving that is hard not to submit to. I became familiar with bubble tea in Taiwan and have been searching ever since for something comparable outside of Taiwan.Chatime has fulfilled that craving and is for us at least the best bubble tea we've tasted so far in London. The options and varieties on offer are very large and the pearls are just the right kind of chewy (Bubbleology can get them too soft on occasion for instance). Be aware that you need to pay cash at the till; after the first time we always make sure to have cash on hand! Expect queues as well; we've been in long queues where we did have to wait about 20 minutes but on the occasion of this review we got through to the register in 5 minutes. This shouldn't be a reason to turn away; there are queues because of the quality! If you don't know what to pick due to all the options on offer my suggestion would be to take the chatime milk tea with pearl; it's the most basic option available and is a nice start to your bubble tea adventure.In terms of serving staff the service has been excellent so far. The one time where we didn't bring cash they kept our order on hold and processed it the moment we returned, even allowing us to bypass the massive queue. There's little seating but we haven't found this to be a problem at all; we have sat down on several occasions just to finish our bubble tea right there and then.If you want to get a proper introduction to bubble tea, this would be the place to go to; anything else is inadequate.

Paid for me and my gf's drink and while waiting for the drinks, a fire broke out and everyone had to be evacuated. Next day went back with the receipt telling them that we did not get our drinks and they refused to give it saying "yesterday is yesterday." So how about "paid is paid" dear chatime?

The milk tea served at this establishment is savoury but they only accept cash.We all know what that means.

Had tea here the first time alone; got some bizarre chocolate one with a strange substance at the bottom that tasted like mashed up shreddies. My chinese friends love bubble tea so I've been here twice more since then, only got something the first time, it was a chocolate berry combination; it was alright. The prices are far too high in my opinion, the cheapest option comes to about 2.50 and thats only if you get an extremely simple item. Bubbletea in general doesn't excite me much and I'll never really understand the appeal, especially for the prices at Chatime.Not to mention the fact that the place always has a huge queue, no seats either which in my opinion always make the difference when it comes to bubble tea. And that is why I didn't purchase anything when i came with my friends the second time. And probably never will again unless I discover a flavour/ combination I adore.

The queue was crazy. As an Asian from Malaysia (which has lots of Chatime around the country), I am expecting the same flavours which I can find from Malaysia, too. I used to always order Roasted Milk Tea but disappointingly, the Chatime in London doesn't have it! T.TI hope Chatime UK will bring in more flavours and open more outlets around the UK because I really, really love bubble teas! :)

Bubble tea - это напиток на основе чая или сока с желе наполнителями. Очень вкусно. Рекомендую milk tea( c кусочками желе) или mango ( с кусочками мякоти кокоса). Отлично утоляет жажду и не вредно для здоровья.

This place is incredible! I have never seen so much different kinds of teas. I took the chilled sakura sencha with bublles/pearls, and it was very strange! The pearls are like little candies in your mouth. Delicious!My friend told me that normally there were queues of 20 people long, however, when we went it was not that busy!Worth a try! Also if you don't like tea!

Bubble tea has recently started becoming popular in UK and this place certainly delivers true authentic and delicious bubble tea! Its Taiwanese style is evident at the start and it really is one of the best I've ever had in UK

Its bubble tea taste good and the bubbles (tapioca) is really chewy. Although it is slightly pricier than its competitors in Chinatown.

I have just got into bubble tea and after sampling is so many places this is great bubble tea.Whether you choose hot tea or fruit tea it is great. Full of flavour.Expect to queue especially at the weekend. The only better place is far away in Birmingham called Twist where I first tried it.Well worth a visit.
