I attended the opening night of this wonderful restaurant. This is not one for the fake food fans, oh no no no. This is a place only for the most seasoned food lovers and critics. It has a certain, shall we say... je ne sais quoi, about it. There were even decorations and costumes restated to the meal to come, foreshadowing some may say. To start with, I signed my food soul away to the head chef herself and was promptly escorted to my seat by a waitress I can only describe as incredibly french and also rather sexy (don’t tell the wife !) Anyways, after the excitement of being seated then came the foods and my god were the FOODS. Peaches with cryptic messages, soup spooned into our moths while our hands were tied behind us, MOUNTAINS of butter and even powdered ginger biscuits! Take em as you like em. A real sensory overload. There were guests of honour and incredible speeches, and the evening was topped of with many a drink and many a dance. My only complaint may be that someone ?? Played a questionable amount of nickel back at the end. And honestly, what the hell. But that of course is out of the chefs hands, and so I will not let it blur my judgement of this wonderous occasion. I CANNOT recommend this place enough. I might have to hire chef El Lon for all of my weddings.

we had some investors over from Hong Kong, as per usual we needed to take them for dinner followed by a few drinks in London. I must say we've take them to some of the most fancy, highly rated places, but, all I can say is wow. The cuisine we experience at this place was to die for, the Investors, being from Hong Kong we not impartial to the delights of brilliant food, but they themselves said that they experience flavours they didn't think existed. I would recommend this place to anyone, I will, most certainly, be attending again. 6 stars and a Michelin from me. Fantastic!

Satisfaction guaranteed. Before my visit I was hesitant about what my "special reservation" involved, or why I had to fill out a form about any skin-contact allergies to certain exotic fruits. When I arrived I was greeted by Chef El Lon, who promptly blindfolded me and lead me to the dining area. There, I was invited to sample several entrés, which were fed to me by various hands and mouths. A truly avant garde culinary experience often forgoes the cutlery in favour of more sensual tools, and Chataeu de El Lon is no exception. I received the main course lying on my back, while wait staff spooned cold potato soup over my body with a ladle. The fruit came next – I was subjected to a raucous food fight. Bananas are consumed "French-style" in this establishment – that is to say, hard and fast in one mouthful. I heartily recommend the extra whipped cream. When you are asked if you want the "free dessert", say yes! A truly magnificent end to a thrilling meal. The preparation took around 10 minutes, and the presentation was superb, attracting a large audience of diners. I was fanned down with wafer biscuits afterwards and I ordered a double espresso, as I was feeling rather lethargic after all that food! I left a huge cash tip tip and my phone number. Will definitely be back.

We had Ellen cater for our "beatboxing bash" tournament. Shamanic vocal arts was having the grand finale and was neck and neck with the Grandfather of funk and they each had a avocado wrap in their hands chomping between inward snares. We had a whole platter of sliced tomatoes, a whole platter of cucumber and a single crispy potato snack sitting lonely in the middle that noone wanted. Shame really. I would have loved that potato snack but I was the judge of the tournament. I love noodles too?! Did you know that?! I LOVE noodles. We will have Ellen again we look forward to coming to the upcoming event that will show the new potato snacks available to have at events. I also host love ceremonies I hope she'll cater those too.

in a wonderful Childrenhome in Nepal El Lon did the catering of an event. it was a powerful and memorable evening. Its in my mind as it would have been yesterday. She served natural tofu. It was a big extremely overdone tofu. but never mind the service was incredible. Never had a service like this before.

So - Chateau de El Lon... Where do I start? A fine dining experience far from what I was expecting right from the outset. If we weren't being led from the door to the table by pugs with bow ties, waited on by ladies on roller skates and morph suits, or enjoying a Japanese trapeze performance over head, then we were being indulged with fabulous food. The flavours of each course tickled every taste bud imaginable and the dry iced seafood linguine flavours were not for the faint hearted but absolutely delicious. My experience at the chateau was filled with excitement from start to finish. My husband Richard and I have been so busy recently with work and the kids and needed a bit of excitement injected into our lives and let me tell you our night at Chateau de El Lon did so much more than this, including in the bedroom... what a wild night it truly was! The head chef should be given a medal for how much precision she offers within her presentation, and our waiter Pierre was both easy on the eye and so accommodating to Richard's potato allergy. I would thoroughly recommend this restaurant to a friend, and have so far even told strangers on the tube to absolutely book a table! This night was second to none, if I could give it 10 stars I would

El Lon is a catering genius with no shortage of imagination. The simple method in which nothing is wasted to make a meal an unforgettable experience. It is daunting to be in the presence of celebrity guests when one is attempting to dine on a dish made from the bone marrow extracted from squirrel but you sometimes have to live in the moment and the experience forces you to do just that. As a chef myself I now have a new outlook on the role of the culinary artist and that is to make one feel. El Lon makes you "feel" and once you do that its pretty much impossible to eat again without remembering that experience.

I was greeted at the door by Chef El Lon and lead to my seat by a small boy on work experience. I was taken to a small section of the garden that smelled like sweet spring time cherry blossoms at nightfall that engulfed ever sense. as i lowered my buttocks onto the chair to the tune of 'we dance to the beat' by robyn, over and over again - not my normal choice but after 3 solid hours of this tune on repeat wow hey mamma does it put a spring in your step !! The chef seemed fine talking in front of groups of 2 or 3 but any more than that jesus mary joseph would she coil up. She kept handing me the phone to a withheld number ( who she said was Michelle Obama ??) to explain what she was trying to say ... a frightful back and forth really. Aside from this the evening was magnificent, 18 courses for less than a fiver - what more could you want !! 5 stars!!

A truly tantalizing food experience, setting the bar high for fusion restaurants not only in London, but worldwide. My senses were pushed to the absolute limit and I left with not only a full belly but a full heart. I’ve been talking about it, dreaming about it and longing for another visit ever since I walked out the door and lord knows i’ll be back soon. Until then, my daughters will have to put up with me banging on about the tactile vegetable garden morning noon and night and the over abundance of celery that now exists in our fridge (absolutely hated the stuff before but i’ve aquired quite the taste for it ever since excitably catching it between my teeth in that pleasant desperation) In short, it was sheer perfection. The music, the dancing, the glitz, the glamour, the attractive team of waiters, and without a doubt, the best damn chef in town. A 5 star dining experience that I’ve recommended to every person I’ve found myself within 2 meters distance of ever since.

I have to admit I wasn't expecting much when I booked. This was originally planned as a last minute surprise funeral for my late husband Graham, but we were informed with only that he had survived the operation with only a week or so left to rethink the catering. I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly the Chateau were able to rethink the decor and catering. They painted the casket a gorgeous red colour and hired an elderly man named Derek as a noel edmonds impersonator to cover the gaff. Nobody knew the difference and the food was lovely in the end (they even threw in a Mr Bobby themed strawberry blamange). Cosmic ordering indeed x

I gargled the bubbling red liquid as instructed and then was served six eggs boiled in a pond beside me, this one a calm green, soft mint mist rising from it. I ate the eggs with my little finger, the yolk felt foamy and young.
