Great curry house, good quality ingredients, nice currys.

Had my order delivered tonight it was really good and it was hot when it arrived as well definitely order from this place again

Everything was good, however one of our curries was incorrect (ordered a Garlic Lamb Tikka Jalfrezi and got a Garlic Lamb Tikka Balti). Bit too plain for me as i like a bit of spice. Shame as otherwise, would have been 5* for both.

We ordered a lamb and chicken tikka kebab on naan as well as a chicken korma. The kebab had 8 pieces of chicken - this was nearly £8. Absolutely ridiculous. The korma was okay but just tasted really watery. Really disappointed and won’t be reordering again

Only had the chicken tikka kebab on naan and samosas from here. In terms of the samosas, they are extremely expensive for what you get and at a guess I’d suggest that they are store bought and not homemade. I’ve had similar samosas at 2 for £1 so maying £3.90 is restaurant prices and for that price I would have expected better quality handmade samosas. The chicken tikka was pre-cooked and heated up in the microwave. The flavouring on the marinate is decent enough but I’d much prefer being served freshly cooked chicken rather than warmed up in a microwave! The naan bread was the freshest part of the meal and was made in front of me and cooked in a tandoori clay oven. The bread itself had a sweet taste to it which made it delicious. The texture and quality of the sauces is not great, yoghurt sauce is too watery and bland and the chilli sauce is store bought cheap sauce. Overall, an ok kebab that with a little bit of work could be a really good kebab! Price of samosas is Outrageous for the quality served.

Food was late and cold most ended up in the bin

Chicken tikka is pre cooked they just microwave it to warm it up so it's not fresh, tasteless slimey I won't eat it again even if it's free for life.

Arrived in good time and still hot, some of the chicken seemed a little over cooked, but quite tasty.

both dishes were very oily and bland as though they were made with oil rather than base gravy and although it was delivered earlier than expected the food was just about warm. first and last time ordering from this takeaway

Really well cooked flavoursome curries and the tandoori items were moist, well spiced and portion sizes were generous.

Finally a curry place that isn’t full of oil that leaves your stomach funny the next day! Curries are full of flavour and the naans are always fresh and soft, highly recommend!

You can tell Chat Massala use quality ingredients even the Donner meat is next level. They also have a knowledge of making really tasty curry’s even really spicy curries are still tasty from Chat, highly Recommend.

Like warm food. Ordered Peshwati naan, received a plain one. Very disappointed and a little ripped off having paid for a more expensive item.

We ordered two mixed meat kebabs and every piece of meat was chewy. What a waste of money through terribly prepared meat.

Delivery was over an hour. Food arrived like warm. Onion bahji’s were over cooked . The chicken gorkali had far to many onions and not enough chicken. Overall didn’t enjoy our meal this time

Lovely mixed kebab very tasty and fresh although not a lot of chicken and lamb tikka on there. We got it to share between 2 and it was big enough with the donner meat but only had a couple of pieces of the other meat. Other than will order again 👍🏻

I've just moved into the area and been trying to find a great Curry restaurant, I'd all but given up.... Until I ordered from here, the curries we ordered were delicious! I think I've found my new goto place for a curry! The guy who delivered my order was friendly and very polite. I whole heartedly recommend this restaurant.

Food came hot and was very tasty. Came early.

Lovely food, highly rate the lamb chops, donner meat and burgers. Easily the best take away we've tried in Ashton and surrounding areas. Reasonable prices, fast delivery and very friendly staff. Can't rate highly enough!

Ive recently been getting the meal deal for one as i get kids straight from work and mrs working late i just get the Chicken Tikka Madras, rice, onion bhajis. Ands its 100% always bang on. Highly recommended, the guy who works there is a top bloke too ✌️

The lamb tikka Madras was absolutely fabulous , very tender tamb and you could taste the mint in the lamb too. Always a good meal from Chat Massala

What an horrendous experience there is no option to add both chilli and garlic sauce so you leave in the notes you want extra chilli and garlic! Japan comes like a vindaloo no garlic sauce literally dripping with chilli not able to eat, call the restaurant very rude telling me the garlic is mixed in! No deffo not! Will never use this kabab house again! Fuming is not even the word.

I would give a higher rating if it was possible! Never ever disappoint quality and quantity is there every time, highly recommend for your curry night or for just when you can’t be bothered cooking! Wish I could make a naan like these! Thank you for constant amazing food

Getting a little sick of ordering food and receiving it cold, like it's been sat half of the day. Called them to ask why its been sent cold and they say wrap it back up and we will collect ?? I dont expect to have to put ordered food in the microwave so will definitely not be ordering again. Customer service is not sending out warmup

Poppadoms were so stale I could fold them in half without them snapping! The yoghurt source had a clump of hairs in it! I can't recommend this takeaway after having this experience.

I wasn’t happy with being charged £3.50 delivery when it says delivery from free it needs to be changed from that to from £0-£3.50 I live not Evan 10 mins away from the takeaway but don’t drive as disabled everything else was good just the fact we was charged £3.50 delivery it dosnt Evan say under £15 the charge until you click on the takeaway I’m not happy!!!!

Food was cold, and delivered late with no updates. Can only assume that the food had been sat waiting to be delivered rather than cooked within 5/10 minutes of being ready for delivery. Normally really good food from here so a bit disappointed this time

Absolutely top class food, we've lived here 5 months and every take away has been awful until tonight, SO glad we've found our new favourite place! Disappointed tonight .... have ordered before and food has been great but tonight it turned up and was cold as if it had just been driving around in the car. Order was missing a nan bread which was sent straight away but sadly the food had to be re heated which didn't do anything for it. Told delivery driver and showed him cold food and his response was he was sure he had sent a garlic nan. Will order and again but would be likely to collect. Thanks

We ordered 2 currys (chicken korma & rogan josh) half rice and chips and a portion of chicken pakora. Delivery was quick within 25 mins and was the only good thing about this order which is a shame because we’ve heard only good things. The chicken was like rubber and full of fat and the curry sauces were full of oil, we ate 2 forkfuls and ended up binning the rest, wouldn’t reccomend as there is many more nice places to go for a good curry.

If you want a great curry then this is the place to get it from.

Love your food normally. We’ve been ordering for years and the same dish recently for the last few weeks but tonight was not great , sorry. Chicken Dayian lots of huge quarter onions in it which completely spoiled the dish and just wasn’t the same flavour and the tikka masala just wasn’t up to scratch either .

Very friendly driver first off, food was fantastic very good sized portions, salad was lovely and fresh on the food!

First time using them, and definitely won't be the last. We'll done Chat Massalla, you could teach some of the local takeaways a thing or two.

Delivery is more expensive than other places if it’s just for one person!

Main was right, even though i asked for it hot they didnt read notes. Lamb chop starter were like sparrows legs.. best thing was my can of Drpepper. Id try again but last chance

First visit tonight. Lovely staff. Incredibly tasty food, will definitely come again. Went again 3 weeks later, the staff were still amazing and the food was just gorgeous. Thanks guys.
