Best samosas, spring rolls and Indian sweets I've ever had and a very reasonable price

Great for samosas, would say best samosas in all of Birmingham and maybe west midlands

The paneer spring rolls are literally the BEST in Brum! I travel over half an hour just to buy them. The price has increased recently (45p to 60p each) but I guess that's due to all the rising costs across the board.

Samosas are great always a queue out the door but worth it

Samosas aren't as tasty as they were unfortunately. Something has changed, the recipe 🤔 etc.

Good quality and reasonably priced

It was busy, but you can see why. We ordered some Samosas and they were delicious and at a reasonable price. I'll be returning to try something else because we were planning on what to order next time.

Although they have a large selection of sweets, The vegetable samosas are probably the most popular item and understandably so. The price is reasonable and the quality is good

Best samosas ever and great value!

Getting served with what you went in for is at best a bit hit and miss, unfortunately. Plus service is painfully slow. Yes the food is generally very good. Just don’t be surprised that what you asked for and what you get given isn’t necessarily the same thing. I had three goes at buying a surprise lunch for my partner. Each attempt costing me a car parking fee and this was before I managed to get into the shop. First attempt the shop was closed. Second attempt the shop was busy and I was facing upwards of an hour just to clear a seven person queue. Third attempt I was served but was given the wrong food. What received was nothing like what I’d asked (and paid) for. So YES great food perhaps, but definitely not worth the effort.

Amazing place, amazing food, amazing staff. Food it top quality local known for the samosas as well as all there other top quality Asian deserts. Staff friendly and helpful. Parking available on the road and also a small pay and display opposite. Ordered 50 samosas for 10:30 am collection, ready and pipeing hot right on time. Thanks all again and will be back soon

The best samosas ever can be found here! Have been visiting here for years, buying the samosas for school fayres and never had a single one left over, as these have such a good reputation. Also, they provide ingredient lists which is essential if selling at schools. I drive miles out of my way to buy from here as really is the best. I made a return visit this week to collect an assortment of food for an work Eid party. Apart from the samosas, also purchased spring rolls and pakura, which were all equally delicious. It is always busy, which is a good sign, and if you want a large order, phone in advance so it will be ready for you. Cash only. There is a pay and display car park across the road (30p for 30 minutes) so I always park there.

Banging samosas. Tried a few places and Charlie's was recommended to me, won't be going anywhere else now. Clean, tidy, really friendly, and great authentic food

The best place to buy your vegetable samosas.. Been coming here for years. Call in advance for your order as these guys are popular so will avoid waiting in a long line. Lovely people and great service

The quality of the food is outstanding best punjabi food in the Midlands by far. Samsoas, pokra, spring roll so good.

Great place for authentic vegan Indian subcontinent Asian food. Always freshly made with a friendly service. Very good value for money as well. We travel 20 miles for the food and have met others who have travelled further. Well worth a visit or calling in if passing.

This is by far my favourite place to go for samosas! I live in Wolverhampton and will gladly travel 35 minutes and 35 minutes back for these samosas! And their chutney is on point!!!

This place is superb value for money. The food is quality, cooked to order and the staff are friendly and helpful. I can't rate this place highly enough.

Samosa’s do not contain any carrots or sweetcorn, simply just potato and two peas. They are very doughy too, almost like eating a powdered donut.

The samosas are incredible we buy in bulk and freeze them so we can have them whenever we want but they are definitely best fresh. Some of them don't survive the 5 minute journey home

Only popped in for some samosas because a couple of friends were popping round. They were absolutely gorgeous. And so cheap - As everybody I know says, "If you want the best, use Charlie's."

Great food, these lot are famous even across the Midlands. My inlaws are in Derby and they come abd get their food and sweets from here. Phone ahead to skip queues. There's always a line outside esp during peak times on weekend.

Only place i will go for samosas, best service and food and doesnt cost the earth. The sweets and spring rolls are up there too.

I’ve been buying from Charlie’s sweet shop since they opened. I’ve moved out of the area now and still travel miles to experience and share with friends and family the delicious cuisine. Went to charlies this morning to pick a last minute order for my sons 1st birthday party and it was very nice . Food was ready in 10 minutes and was gone even quicker at the party . Will definitely use again. Thanks guys !

Best samosas in the UK period. I'd challenge anyone to find me better. Even their spring rolls were nice. Gulab jamun weren't anything special though.

A wonderful little place that does only the best samosas, spring rolls, flapjacks, carrot cakes and gulab jamuns. At least that's what I picked up for a party and they were awesome. Great prices. Great food.

Food was great as usual the best dip offered compared to other's in area, only reason 4 stars is due to the wait to be acknowledged as the server had his back towards customers and was on the phone debating for a while , to what sounded like a Company requiring satisfaction questionnaire this could have been cut short very quickly and be continued at another time. He didn't apologise for the delay either which isn't the greatest customer service.

Lovely products, reasonably priced but you MUST order in advance BUT ordering system is hit and miss. Sometimes they answer the phone phone, sometimes they dont. No email orders. They turned away so many people who just turned up .
