Didn’t disappoint. Lovely meals all served with humongous Yorkshire puds! Lashings of gravy and the cheesy leek dish was the best!

used swimming pool - pool area was dirty lots of rust and sand in pool jacuzzi was not working very well and settings on side did not work, nether was water feature working. Changing rooms was also very dirty! Half hour slots for swimming time which is not ideal by the time you get in to the pool after getting change a 45-60min slot would be much better and allow you to make most of the pool. Had food in the restaurant after- floor was very dirty with bits of food around and under tables was very clear that the restaurant was not cleaned after last night as we went into the restaurant area when it had opened. Staff were lovely, friendly, and very helpful however gossiping in the middle of restaurant from start to finish of our meal. The place looked lovely and in a lovely area with a nice outside seating area and park but inside is in definite need of work and cleaning as this would have impacted the experience here and definitely improved the standards of the place

Booked the Coronation Afternoon tea for 5 friends. Waited quite a while for the food to arrive. Nice selection of sandwiches which were very nice but the display of cakes looked very messy and were falling apart. Scones were biscuit thin hard and dry sandwiched together with squirty cream as was the Victoria sandwich. Large trifle in lovely glass but tinned custard and again squirty cream. For 17.50 per head expected fresh cream and fresher food all seemed a bit stale. Very disappointed as had previously had excellent food here.

Ordered Sunday lunch and was told earliest would be 15.30 which was fine as we had booked late. Arrived early and were impressed by the restaurant but not by the fact that the restaurant only had two more tables of diners so why the late booking? Both meals had "roast" potatoes that were dry and not roasted. Plenty of lamb on my plate and a reasonable choice of vegetables. Just one drink each and a bill for £50! Service was a bit slow considering the fact that there were few other diners.

I was not at all impressed my meal of leek, garlic mushroom bake with a very small salad I was given a spoon, very creamy and more like a soup, not a bake. Pricey for 13.50

We visited and ordered salmon and prawn salad and the special leek risotto. The salad, which was £14, was not great - freezer burned prawns and not worth the money. The leek risotto had no risotto rice! It was more of a soup. Sent back and had a fish and chips, with cold mushy peas. I would not recommend!

There was a 30 minute wait from entering the restaurant to having our meal served. We were ok with this as all meals are cooked fresh,so knew we would have to be patient. If you are looking for ready meals,this is not the place for you. The surroundings are very comfortable,and the dining room is very well appointed. The food was served hot. The fish and chips are very generous in the size of the serving,The belly pork was cooked to perfection,crunchy cracking and very tender pork….again a very generous amount perfectly cooked,lovely honey dressing.It is served with mash and fresh veg.Next time I will ask if it can be served with chips,not that I have a complaint. Too full for a desert…Shame,they looked good.

Love coming here, staff and management cant do enough, i can highly recommend this place, there is a bit of a wait at times as its not fast food but cooked to order, but worth the wait, its 1 of my top eateries and visit the restaurant regularly. 5***** Caravan park and reception/restaurant spot less - Well done to Charlies (Croft Park) we look forward to our next meal there xxx :)

Went for a swim and 2 course lunch, pool was lovely and clean although changing facilities were a bit cramped. Food was excellent value for money and great tasting. Staff very helpful and friendly. The menu was quite extensive and all appeared home cooked. Would definitely recommend

Stayed on caravan park with family. Visited Charlie’s for Sunday lunch. Very busy so we kind of knew it would be good and weren’t disappointed. Very tasty food with plenty of veggies. Puddings were fabulous and all of our plates cleared!!! Price for family of four very reasonable. Staff very friendly and worked hard! Would recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting!! Have eaten here many times - Food always of an excellent standard from a varied menu. Good value for money too, especially when they have special lunchtime menus out of season. A relaxing and enjoyable eating experience.

Stayed on the park this week, perfect place to stay Thought we would try the restaurant as not much in the area. The prices are not cheap so we were expecting good food. The curry was very simple nothing special. The linguine was overpowering with sauce and couldn't eat the massive bowl of it. The fish n chips were good but the chips were very basic value ones. The pie was not a pie but a stew with some flaky pastry on top. Bit of a shame as spent a lot on it. The staff are all very friendly but just disappointed in the quality of food for the price we paid.

Took the family there as they knew the chef, I must say it was a lovely relaxing venue, lovely surrounding and great service and meal was nice too

We had food in Charlie's when we were staying in Croft Country Park. The decor and atmosphere was lovely, good drink selection. The staff were attentive and friendly and the food was divine! If we were to visit this area again we will definitely call into Charlie's!

We sat and sat to be served absolutely ridiculous restaurant was empty and you can certainly see why. Chefs bell went several times for the one other tables food to be delivered not to be answered until the unenthusiastic waitress bothered to collect the food as all to busy talking on reception

Great restaurant, great food. This was our second visit on holiday. We’ve eaten in lots of restaurants and this is in the top ten. A very pleasant surprise. The menu is quite limited but great starters, favourites and grills. Our choice of food was excellent and tasty, as are the sweets.A rural location off the main roads in Reynalton but well worth a visit for great food and friendly service.

We went out with friends on a Saturday night.We hadn't been to Charlie's for quite some time,but we were so pleased to go back.

Walked in and straight away greeted by Iona, who was lovely and couldn't be more friendly and help full. Sat down and drinks taken by the bar man and were with us almost instantly. Only had to wait a few minutes and our food was already with us!!

Went for a booked family meal of about 12 people for Sunday lunch. Due to a chip in my glass which I was drinking out of - which I didnt notice - it managed to cut the inside of my mouth, causing it to start bleeding quite a lot. Thankfully I had just finished my main and was awaiting pudding. Now the staff members who were clearing the table showed no concern as to what was happening, until I pointed it out asking for assistance. The waitress response wasn't in anyway apologetic. but instead took the glass - disappeared saying she was going to 'sort it out.' I didnt receive an apology , it was more as though I had inconvenienced them! she also didnt bother bringing back my drink atall

Always good food and excellent service at this restaurant I have been to a number of events here and we have never been disappointed .......those who stay at the caravanpark are fortunate to have this restaurant on their doorstep

We visited this restaurant for Sunday lunch. We had one of the best Sunday lunches we have had for a long time. The service was friendly and very efficient. The dining room if very pleasant with plenty of room and a lovely outlook where you can sit outside in the summer. The restaurant is on a caravan park which is closed at present , no doubt it is very busy in the holiday season as there is a swimming pool as part of the complex. The restaurant is also disabled friendly with easy access and disabled toilets .

So amidst the tacky solar lighting and decorated trees emerged an entrance to the small holiday park entrance.... We've booked a table for two, with a candle, it seems a paraffin candle helps the smell of food.

Stopped off after a walk along the coastal path for a quick cuppa and was tempted by the cakes. Nice surroundings, helpful staff.

Pleasant surroundings with friendly staff but a disappointing meal with some advertised elements missing after an unacceptably long wait for the food to arrive ( over an hour).

Me and my partner ate here last week and had a brilliant experience. The service was very welcoming and warm from the moment we arrived. The restaurant is beautifully decorated with everything of a high quality and spotlessly clean. I ordered the sea bass which was two large perfectly cooked fillets in a white wine and prawn sauce and my partner ordered the salmon dish. Unfortunately they had run out of salmon so the chef offered to make up a cod dish for him which my partner said was delicious. All the sides we ordered were tasty and the homemade dessert was lovely too. I can’t fault a thing and to top it off the prices were very reasonable. Thank you for a lovely meal we will be back again soon!

We arrived at the campsite - Sunday 10th of June around lunchtime after a 6 hour drive, looking for something to eat, only to be told that they were catering for an outside party and there was no food available.

Pleasant staff and service. Food aims to be a little above basic but they do not have the skills to achieve it. It was surprising to be charged extra for vegetables which were very basic and plain boiled.

Very pleasant restaurant with a salt water swimming pool on a static caravan site, which is open the the public. A little bit remote, so ideally you need a designated driver, taxi would be expensive I think. Well stocked bar, staff are all lovely, menu was quite extensive covering all the usual dishes, found the wine list a little pricey. The meals were well presented and tasty.

Wanted to go to a special place to celebrate mother-in-law's birthday. Unfortunately, the experience didn't live up to our expectations.

Looking for a new restaurant to share with new friends, and were recommended this venue.

Nos alojamos en el turismo web (familia de 4) así que reservamos con antelación para comer el domingo. La comida era increíble y los niños comieron allí es todo! El servicio fue muy rápido y amable. Luego comimos de nuevo en vez de jueves de la comida y el personal (dos mujeres) era bueno con los niños. Comida era excelente. Yo tenía un bistec y cebolla siesta rústico con patatas fritas. Recomiendo encarecidamente Charlie's.

Hemos comido aquí antes de visitar a unos parientes en Saundersfoot cuando decidimos reservar para comer el domingo como una comida familiar de pascua para 6. Estaba muy concurrido, pero el servicio era amable y eficiente. Todos los entrantes y postres, asados eran bien presentado y sabroso. Precioso, ambiente afable. El parque también se ve limpio y tiene una piscina pequeña. Ideal para unas vacaciones en familia. Volveré a comer aquí.

Este fue otro de estar localmente al restaurante, especialmente para comer el domingo. Decidimos probar los aperitivos y los dos teníamos patatas grandes con tocino y queso, que estaban riquísimos. El problema es que no llenarte y haber tenido la carne asada y bacalao escalfado, no tienen espacio para los postres! El restaurante y el complejo de piscina es un mobiliario moderno y confortable, con un personal muy servicial y amable. Nos habría dado cinco estrellas tenía que agotaba proyecto Doombar y el servicio era un poco lento, sobre todo esperando el primer plato.

Visitamos con mi marido para cenar en la noche de San Valentín, el restaurante es local y a un corto trayecto en coche y aproximadamente a 4 km de la ciudad de Narnerth. Se lo puede encontrar en Croft Country Park, en un lugar que tiene capacidad para caravanas fijas, por tanto creo que lo muy concurrido durante la temporada alta.

La primera visita a este restaurante, que oímos de de boca en boca. La comida era de primera clase, y una muy buena relación calidad-precio. El personal era también excelente, y me hizo sentir muy bienvenido. Como es habitual, como en cualquier restaurante galés las raciones eran muy generoso, y tienes que dejar tiempo entre campos! Sin duda volveremos.

Pleasantly surprised by this restaurant , didn't know what to expect but when we turned up the setting was gorgeous , colourful decor and lovely welcoming staff (especially Sophie). The food was gorgeous , good portions and desert was fab. Will be coming back here again, very soon!

We had Sunday Lunch here for five of my family and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. We had the Moules and the Olives for starters and both were tasty and well priced. We all had Beef for a main course but considering the standard of the starters we expected more. The beef was tasty but the rest of the dinner was quite poor by comparison. The Roasts and the Mash tasted starchy as though they they had been reheated and the Yorkshire tasted a bit doughy. The veg was served separately but small portions. The gravy was very tasty, almost Jus like, and there was plenty of it. We didn't have desserts. I have heard good reports about Charlies so I'll put this down to a bad day and try again at a later date.

18 members of the Parkinson Carers Group had an exelent Christmas meal at Charlie's. The meal was served hot and when the vegetables arrived there was more than enough for evetyone to have their fill. The desert, Christmas Pud was very rich and everyone enjoyed. Mince Pies with coffee to finish. Enjoyed Charlie's and will be back again.

Lovely food,speedy sevice in lovely surroundings. Outdoor area pleasant as we had nice weather. Fab dessert local apple and blackberry crumble and cream.

Visited twice whilst on holiday, both times we were impressed by the quality of the food and the friendliness of the staff. The portion sizes were ample and the food was hot when it arrived. The quality of the food was superb. We suggest booking a table if visiting at the weekend. Highly recommended.

Stayed here at Celtic Parks in 2014 with my partner and son.Having had a wonderful experience then, we decided to return for a restaurant meal, even though we are staying in Saundersfoot (5miles away) and it was even better this time! Absolute spotless clean and friendly, first class food, quality of food amazing, well done all involved at Charlies Restaurant, will be back again in the future

Don't be put off by the fact that its on a caravan sight all be it a luxury one. It is very comfortable, warm and stylish with high spec interior design. Good selection on the menu and clearly cooked by an experienced and talented chef. Not cheap food but certainly cheerful staff who were kept busy as it is clearly popular with holiday makers and locals. We have eaten here more than 4 times and always heartily enjoyed the food and experience. You must keep room for the homemade delicious deserts!

We had just purchased our own static home on the park but in doing so thought we'd try the restaurant out. We invited my mum and nan along so the rest were 5 of us in total. The place was spotlessly clean , staff were really helpful and very friendly and as it was a Sunday we all had Sunday dinner. Food came and it was lovely. Plenty of it and even my nan with alzimers and dementia enjoyed it. Thanks everyone we'll be back soon.

A very stylish restaurant one would not normally expect to find in a caravan park. An extensive menu, not overpriced, and delicious food. Well worth a visit.

Again this year we held our annual Christmas party at Charlie's restaurant, as with last year the service and food were first class. All of the staff commented on how delicious the food was and that they would definitely return. Thank you for another enjoyable party.

A group of us visited this restaurant for the first time to celebrate a friends birthday.The entrance to the restaurant was lilluminated beautifully for a December night. The two enormous Christmas trees were splendid and the illuminated indoor swimming pool gave atmosphere. I was very much looking forward to the same standard of food but was sadly disappointed. At £25+ per person for a Christmas meal the quality should've been far better. I had the garlic mushrooms as a starter which arrived - new mushrooms, quartered, coated in a fatty non -tasting sauce. The main meal was beef. The vegetables were not Al dente but hard and under cooked, the meal was almost cold, and the Large portions of sliced Beef had been overcooked and thus dried out, even the mashed potato which was very runny, was lacking in taste and texture.I rarely give a review so negative, but even the dessert lacked taste. I ordered strawberry meringue which arrived green! No it was not pistachio or lime, it was meringue coloured green. The staff were charming, we were served with courtesy and respect, but as a restaurant Charlie's is a joke. Dreadful food and letting the atmosphere and the venue down big time.

Charlies's is like a hidden treasure chest, when you've found it and have been tempted by the hidden treasure (food) you will be very happy! Eaten here twice now and both times the food was impeccably faultless!

Had a family lunch here to celebrate my birthday with family - excellent food - service staff couldn't do enough for you from the time you arrived and ordered your drinks to leavingThis place is a hidden gem and we will definitely be returning - we had sunday lunch cant wait to have there main menu.Another bonus was to sit somewhere where it was warm and had comfortable seating instead of hard wooden chairs and also easy access on the flat for my mum who's 82 well done Charlies

Went here as a group with Church and all 14 of us thoroughly enjoyed ourselves with even the fussiest eater having no complaints! A lovely Sunday lunch

it was our first time to the restaurant and we had Sunday lunch beef dinner. Food was very good, service very good and staff very friendly and helpful. We will definitely go back and stay on the park.

Visited with a party of 30 locals all had pre booked and the restaurant wasn't busy. The tables where laid nicely and the place is very nice. Unfortunately the service was terrible some people had finished their mains before other shad even received theirs. Some had meat dishes which went cold waiting for their side orders. One lady had to wait for nearly half an hour as they had forgotten to cook her meal. Not acceptable as we had pre-ordered everything. That said the food was of a good standard.

Four of us ate here for dinner and all had a main and desert! The food was good quality and we would all highly recommend this restaurant, although the strawberry cheesecake was of a strange consistency it tasted lovely.The staff are keen to help and provide a good service.The crème brulee is a must try!Very reasonably priced for the food and service on offer.

We were looking for somewhere to have dinner on a Saturday night within a reasonable distance of Narberth and were recommended the restaurant on the Croft Holiday Park. Being somewhat sceptical (expecting a "café" style eatery) we gave it a try as most other restaurants in the area were either fully booked or had 45 minute waiting times. What a pleasant surprise. A nicely fitted and decorated proper restaurant. The staff were extremely polite and helpful, the drinks and food reasonably priced. Our meals were all exceptionally tasty (salmon fillet, mussels, BBQ chicken and battered cod). For a Saturday night it was quiet and lacked a bit of atmosphere. I was not too keen on the wide screen TV on the wall although some people at the bar were watching and it was not too loud. If you're looking for an evening meal and drinks at good prices in a pleasant setting give it a try.

As a regular visitor to the area I highly recommend Charlie's for food and atmosphere (and if you're that keen swimming and Gym too!) the staff are always willing to help, and keen to assist, I was seated promptly with drinks being served almost immediately - food is always cooked to the highest standard and at a great portion size, and never have I had to wait excessively (average 10-15 minutes).I always visit Charlie's at least once when on business in Pembroke and will continue to do so

My first visit here was on a Friday evening. Enjoyed a lovely swim in the saltwater pool with the family, we all loved it! Followed by a meal in the restaurant, fab food for the adults and children. Puddings are a must, especially the kids brownies and the chocolate fondant with salted caramel ice cream!! Next visit was a few days later for lunch, sat outside in the glorious sunshine, kids outdoor play area is great. Lunchtime menu was limited (can also have evening menu in day too!) but the ciabatta with homemade coleslaw, salad and chips was great value for money and perfect for lunchtime! Live locally so will be a regular visitor.

We couldn't beleive that such a lovely restaurant could be hidden away on a campsite. The decor is warm and inviting with a sense of peacefulness. The food is FANTASTIC. The meal far exceeded our expectations and they obviously have a superb chef. We cannot fault the meal, service or price. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

I visited this lovely place with two friends and we had a fantastic meal in the beautifully designed restaurant, we had three fabulous courses and thoroughly enjoyed the evening, I couldn't help but notice in a previous review that a guest had mentioned that the chlorine of the pool was overpowering, I think this is in his/her imagination as the owners of the venue who were super lovely and friendly had explained to us that it was indeed a natural salt water pool, so there was no smell, the facilities are beautiful, give it a try you won't be disappointed.

I must admit my expectations were pretty low when I was told we were going to a restaurant on a caravan park but was reassured that the reviews were good.The restaurant is lovely, it's been renovated very well. However, the location isn't great, being opposite the swimming pool means you have the overpowering smell of chlorine all evening. The main's were pretty good, we all enjoyed them and they have a good choice for veggies. The puddings were a different matter, I have never seen a strawberry cheesecake like the one that landed in front of me, it should have been described as slop on a biscuit base and the other weren't great. Overall I'd give the food a 3/5.The service was dreadful, friendly enough but dreadful! We had to ask for everything, even the menus.

We visited Charlie's for the first time last night for a meal with friends. The venue was lovely, the service brilliant and the food was excellent. I had chicken and mushroom risotto with garlic and the flavour was fantastic. My husband had belly of pork and opted for the garlic potatoes with it. He said he couldn't fault it. The sweets were to die for. The only slight negative was the quantity of custard with the crumble. In fairness, we didn't ask for extra and I am sure this would have been provided had we asked. Charlie's is well worth a visit and we will certainly be going back there again.

Wow!!!!have been told about this gem of a place and finally tried it myself,myself and 2 girly friends had an amazing meal,try the chicken and choritzo pasta,amazing flavours and had the chocolate fondant pudding,omg!!!gorgeousness!!! The atmosphere here is great and the staff were ever so lovely,nothing too much trouble at all.will most definatly be trying again............SOON!!!:-) :-) :-)

Had the pleasure of dining here today for Sunday lunch. The setting is unusual, being part of a caravan park, but the restaurant certainly stands up in its own right as being one of the best eateries I've been too.With its smart and elegant interior, the restaurant provides a wide variety of choices. There is something for everyone. Each course came immaculately presented and tasted every bit as good as it looked. The lamb samosas (an unusual Sunday lunch starter) were delicious, as was the roast beef dinner. However, it was the Sticky toffee pudding that was to die for!!!Having tried a bit of my partners food, as well as cleaning my plates, I came away very satisfied with what I had consumed. The bill was a pleasant surprise too considering what we had had. All-in-all a very enjoyable and fulfilling meal was had by both of these diners!
