Unfortunately not a pleasant experience. Ordered popcorn chicken but only recieved the batter no chicken inside. When I reported this to staff she said these were pre purchased and they come pre made. Surely if you charge these extortionate prices you can also order better quality chicken popcorn. Secondly waited a long time for the order to come through which made it an overall poor experience. First and last time I visit this place.

Stairs were filthy and food looked like it was microwaved

The meat pizza had barely any toppings, with just one slice of meat on each piece. The Chicken Funghi pizza was even worse — I could barely taste any chicken. The fries were bland and lacked any seasoning. Overall, it was a disappointing meal, and I won’t be ordering from here again.”

ordered peri chicken with rice box absolute no flavour. Rice had next to nothing spices both my wife and I left it ordered chicken fillet meal very plain and chicken strip which were half decent place needs a good clean- sat upstairs- stairs were disgusting think council need to do an inspection!!

Popped in to grab some takeout. The food was fantastic—hot, fresh, and delicious. The peri chicken was perfectly marinated, and the fries were crispy and chunky. The staff were super friendly, dining area was clean. Definitely a great find that I'm happy I didn't miss!

As a place to eat I wasn't too impressed. The menu was misleading and the staff were a bit rude if you asked them a question. The place was grubby and needed a good clean. We did intend to eat in but with no explanation we were in the dark upstairs which frightened my grandson so we took our food and left. The pizza wasn't too bad as a plus note.

Huge disappointment, we ordered 3 chicken fillet meals but ended up with just the burgers… We originally ordered via telephone collection and then rang back 10-15min later to inform the shop we would be running slightly late to collect our food. During that phone call the employee decided to inform us that they were no longer able to make our order as the fire alarm in the building had gone off, which made them evacuate. This was slightly odd as it was us ringing them not Chargoz ringing us to inform us of there fire evacuations. Nevertheless we decided to head towards a different takeout, however we received a phone call back 10mins later from Chargoz employee to tell us that they are able to make our order as they were up and running again since the fire alarm evacuation. Giving them the benefit of doubt… We were happy to go back and collect our order. Once we arrived the lady told us at the counter unfortunately, they are unable to make fries with the order as they were closing so we would have to do with just the burgers on its own. That was a huge disappointment as we were looking forward to our meal and they didn’t tell us this before arriving. It was all a mix up on their side and they didn’t have the courtesy to perhaps compensate for this. Very poor. Overall food - The burger didn’t taste fresh at all the batter was over fried and inside was flavourless with a plain dry bun. It cost us over £20, which is bizarre considering it was just burgers no meal. Definitely would not recommend this place.

We ordered for chicken peri peri , it was amazing and very tasty. I can say I have never taste like that. Must try.

I ordered a meal with three pieces of chicken, but the chicken was so hard it felt like rubber, and the portions were tiny. Additionally, there was a very long wait. Moreover, the person handling the food was touching his face, scratching his beard and neck, and didn't bother washing his hands.

Been for the first time with a good friend of mine, and we did order a nice Waggle with chocolate, a milkshake and an ice cream. Very nice and nothing to complain. Location it's tidy and clean, staff members are friendly and approachable. Prices are decent and a lots of varieties of food options. Toilets available, and even for people with disabilities. I've been a little bit surprised to seeing here that this location has 2.8⭐️'s! I believe some people they should encourage more business to grow up, rather then expecting perfection! Got a burger with chips. Didn’t ask for a side of hair and dead flies but found the flies already on the table and hair in my burger for free. Cheers

Never been here before thought would try it I'm surprised there's no other shops open else where as food was spot on . Smash burger 1 of the best ive had . Chips were perfect and chicken wasn't dry and tasty . Pizza was good just normal standard pizza , staff were good and helped with choice of burger and when asked for some sauce they gave you bottles and must say the chilli sauce was banging hot lovely 👌👌 only thing missing was vinegar for the chips . Also milk shakes were ace

the till lady looked depressed, like she hated her job and was holding her face whilst taking orders. Not a good impression is it?

We had food last week and it was very fresh and tasty. We will visit soon in sha allah. Hope we will be having fresh and tasty chicken fillet burger again🙂

Tried their hot veggie pizza. One of the best pizza we had after a long time.

Ordered peri chicken strips and wings. Received wrong order. Wings were very hard, and tasted old, were not fresh at all. Felt sick after and unfortunately had diarrhoea! Would not recommend this takeaway at all. Please do not operate a business to the public if your intention is to sell old inedible food. I will be informing the food standard agency.

Kids chicken burger was processed chicken which was very greasy and the burger bun was blatantly heated up in a microwave as it was burning hot and wet. Chips standard but oily. Saying all that it did cost only £4 with a watery blackcurrant cordial.

Me and my freinds came here as most places were closed I ordered a chicken fillet burger meal and the bun was hard and chewy and the fries tasted like cardboard my freind had a chicken a rice meal it was mainly rice and 3 peices of chicken would not recommend!!!!!! Right, not happy at all to say the least. Came here for a nice day out, ordered a chicken and rice meal when it was time to collect there were no fries. I asked where the fries were and he said fries don’t come with the meal??!!!! Secondly the rice portion was minuscule and the chicken to rice ratio was abysmal. Super crispy crust which is yummy. But no tobasco sauce or red chilli flakes as Pizza was bland. Only 1 girl at the till when it is too busy bless her she was running crazy. Please owner invest some money and get an extra staff.

I wish i read the reviews first. I ordered 2 4oz smash burger meals and paid a premium price for it compared to average but I received very small patties the burger was a kids size burger also in a kids size burger bun it wasn't a freshly pressed smash it was cooked from frozen you could tell by the taste as it tasted very stale and far from a freshly pressed smash. It was that small that i was still hungry after paying almost £16 for two meals and a kids bites meal. Between two people. The only good thing was the fries. Never again.

I honestly don't recommend this place.Atmosphere is horrible and food is dry.Fries were horrible and very hard.The girl who took our order had so much attitude.Once we sat down to eat they were talking very loud and the guy was stood by the gap in the kitchen was looking at me the whole time and it was a very uncomfortable experience. I bought a peri peri meal at about 1400 today. I had finished a movie and was buying a meal to take home with my family. I had eaten at this establishment once when it had newly opened, I had good memories of it and therefore decided to buy a meal here. As I had to travel a fair distance back home, my only request was to put the fries in a box to prevent spillage and keep them warm. Sadly a young serving lady who served me was for some reason angry and appeared visibly infuriated with my request. A man who I think was her manager appeared from the back and apologised. I said to him that in today's economy, it is vitally important to keep good customer service as the establishment will otherwise loose its customers. The young lady clearly was not happy and challenged me in front of customers as to why I was speaking about her to her coworker (I assume he was the manager). I told her I did not want to get into any heated discussion with her. I left her with some advice to reflect on her behaviour to the customer. I as yet can not comprehend why she was so angry ? It was a simple request that escalated for no reason. If you need to watch a life video about how not to handle customers and I think poor communication skills, this had to be it. It seemed other staff were probably frightened of her with their body language. Who knows ? The food was good though, the peri peri chicken was well marinated. And I have just enjoyed it at home. Would I come back again? I would be in two minds, I don't think I would want to face that young lady again, so I will decide on the day. It is very likely this establishment will continue to loose customers quickly if the front of store customer service continues to reflect their business in such a way.

We ordered chicken strips and 2 burger meals ..One of the burgers served was actually ate by someone else before being given to us. Like literally a proper big bite taken. Even if it’s put down to human error I still feel disgusted as to why they would serve eaten burgers in the first place. No excuse for that. They swapped it for another which meant we had to wait but were so disgusted as we could not trust what they would do to the food before serving. Not recommended at all.

Ordered 6 piece peri grilled wings they was so chewy it led me to believe they were undercooked as I took off a piece chicken I saw that it was near enough all Pink!! The chicken literally felt like how you would imagine rubber to feel like it was so tough and hard to separate from the bone. I was with my dad who told me not to kick up a fuss but please avoid this place yes it might be cheap compared to the other food places in star city but I still advise you to spend your money else where!!

This place isn't that bad but what I ordered was noodles with dry abit slightly chilli rather than spicy & there wasn't that much sauce in there, the noodles was a little bit watery where you can feel it literally plus it was a bit bland too. The 'Large Box' wasn't large at all, but it looked like a small box to me. The chicken in that noodle box was cooked well, but that's the only thing good there. Delivery was slightly fast. This place is halal. I would recommend to family & friends.

awful service will never return i ordered 2 kids meals and the guy charged me 6.00 for a kids meal and 3.00 for the other. plus you only get 3 nuggets thats it.He claimed he gave me a adulrs meal it was not. Will never return or recommend to anyone again. was dirty inside too.

When I walked in it was a mess I sat down on my table had to clean my self unbelievable ordered my food filliet burger with no cheese and mayonnaise but they put mayonnaise and cheese so I went and said I asked for no cheese and mayonnaise made another one and put mayonnaise fries was cold food was cold and dry disgusting never coming back again x

TERRIBLE! ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE! From the moment I had entered the tables were not even cleaned and had mess from the previous customers! Not even the chairs were cleaned properly! As I was placing my order the rude worker was complaining for taking long and was showing me attitude throughout the whole interactions (The blonde girl). I tried by best to stop myself from slapping her in the face because I will never allow anyone to speak to me like that. After receiving my food as well (8 oz smash burger meal with vimto) I had noticed saliva in my burger which forced me to not even eat it and show to the staff. After showing the staff my discovery I was met yet again by the same rude worker who slapped the burger out of my hand and told me to eat it off of the floor! I will never eat from here again and I advise you all to not eat from here! I DO NOT KNOW HOW THIS SHOP IS STILL RUNNING!!!

Waited 50 minutes for one chicken wrap. After about 30 mins we just went and asked for a refund but were told they couldn’t give one because the manager was out. Wasn’t just us either, about 10 other groups waiting at the same time. No idea what’s happening in the kitchen, but I could’ve gone out and hunted for my dinner faster than the food was coming out.

Awful place. My son who is 4 had to wait 35 mins for his food and wasnt even cooked properly. I wouldnt go here again even if the food was free.

I got food poisoning after eating lamb donner and chips. I would definitely stay away from here unless you enjoy getting food poisoning or sitting in the toilet waiting. This needs to be referred to the Foods Standard Agency which I'll ensure it does. I'm now tormented from trying new places. The staff are fine, the food isn't. Help yourself from getting food poisoning and dont get the donner and chips. I will now check 111 website for food poisoning treatment, thanks. I am tormented.

I walked in to the “restaurant” and the staff were busy having a domestic and did not even acknowledge myself as a customer. The girl that works there was using foul language and had a horrible attitude. I personally would not have offered a job to any of the staff that were working there that night as they lacked basic customer service and communication skills. From that moment I should have known better and left. However, I wanted a quick bite before watching a movie at the cinema as I was hungry. So I ordered the 2 x filet burger meal deal that was available. When the food was finally made, I asked the staff for some salt and they stated that they did not have any salt in the “restaurant”. This was the first time in my life that a restaurant was unable to provide me with any form of salt. The staff also did not provide any sauces for the fries or the burger. The fries were rock hard and had 0 taste even when I had sprinkled pepper. The chicken burger was terrible. Again, 0 taste and the chicken consisted mainly of batter. The filet itself was a very thin and small piece of chicken. It was also completely dry and I tried washing down each bite with a drink but it was still difficult to swallow. I was unable to eat the rest of the meal after a couple of bites and unfortunately it was wasted. I had given the second meal to a customer that was in there and they didn’t even seem pleased to receive it so that says something lol. My assumption was that if this food place was operating in Star City it should atleast be decent. However, the truth is that this place is disgusting and a complete scam that should not be open in any part of the world. The worst food and customer service I have experienced in a very long time. O stars. I would not eat the food even if it was free.

I ordered piri piri chicken wrap and got raw chicken in it, all pink inside and bad smell. It surely wasn’t fresh meat. I asked to replace it with something else and staff goes you have to pay for any next order. Really wasn’t helplful and wouldn’t recommend it. I ordered meal n showed the staff wrap in my tray she took the tray in kitchen with all my meal including fries that’s why I asked to give fries back , fries weren’t a replacement , I didn’t want to eat that kind of wrap n didn’t ask for it. That’s why I said at-least give some wings instead. If the manager/ owner was on duty, he should’ve been more helpful to solve it. It’s not the matter of giving replacement food it’s the service , Anyways thanks for such service and the helpful response been given below.

The best in brum town! Food comes out pipping hot, wide variety of food great selection of waffles, milkshakes, and mock tails everything is fresh! The atmosphere is warming & very clean every time a customer left a worker would go over to the table disinfect and sanitise the space ready for a new customer. The staff’s attitude towards the customers are very welcoming ! 100% would deffo recommend

We popped in 2day for pudding, advertising cookie dough and they no longer do it. My two girls had ice cream and both were full of ice, my youngest wouldn't finish hers. I had a milkshake as they didn't do cookie dough and it had a water taste. The lady making the pudding wasn't wearing a hair net and had long hair.

Absolutley the worst food I have ever had. Staff member told food will be 10-15mins comes 30mins later with cold fries one girl staff memeber stood behind till on her phone the whole time am sure the boss or manager would review there cctv as this is not the first time ( read all recent reviews) just avoid. The peri chicken wrap sauce tasted like vomit. Fries were hot as had to replace them and the pizza was ok nothing special. I will not go here and have told a few people already not to go! Avoid this place your better off going to kfc or somwhere else.

In little to no doubt this is the worst takeaway I've ever been to, I have no idea how Star City has allowed an horrific place like this to open. The customer service is atrocious and the place clearly hasn't been cleaned since the day it opened. To top everything off, the food was an embarrassment. the fries are about 90% batter and pizza hadn't even been sliced. The burger bun was clearly stale. All this for the same price I could of eaten at a half decent sit down restaurant. Stay well clear and leave this place to rot, just like the staff do.

Came here because the KFC was closed. Had low expectations but was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and the prices. The place was quite dirty though hence the 4 stars

Needs fixing staff keep forgetting orders and food takes long

The food was alright however they had some of the worst serving time, they took a very long time to serve and after that they got our order mixed up with another order. This was extremely annoying as we were waiting up to an hour just to get our food. Do not recommend if you want to eat here as it is very un-organised.

Not local to the area, seemed like nice place to eat. Very poor customer service, cashier stood with back faced to us for a good few minutes before attending to us thereafter serving us with 'tuts' and 'eye rolling' as though she just didn't want to be there. When we asked for the tables to be cleaned she disappeared, comes back and had to ask twice more. The tables were wiped down onto the floor and not bothered to sweep up. The only plus, food was nice

Atmosphere 1/10 compliment with poor presentation 4/10 at least put the effort into your meal that you served. Price value 7/10 well done there. Place was nice and clean then again they only had two customer. As you can see no body present by the front desk 5 customers walk out after waiting for 1 minute. First time came here. Tables are not clean I had to clean by myself, floor is dirty and it’s sticky. Prices are not according to menu displayed. Very disappointed

We ate here today. The food was nice we had a peri peri chicken with fries. The problem was the floor felt tacky, as if it was not cleaned for a long time. The tables were not cleared of the rubbish when customers left. The toilets were a little dirty, no loo roll. There were plenty of staff, the owners have gone to the trouble of the marketing etc, and is a shame when the staff management is so rubbish. Staff spend time chit chatting, rather than keep on top of the cleaning, and then wonder why when they close down! First impressions on entry really matter.

If I could give 0 stars I honestly would, I ordered my food at 8:57 and this was in store the guy goes to me 15 mins so I wanted patiently after 15 mins I asked the female how long only to find out she hasn’t started my order, then I had addressed the fact I’ve waited 15 mins and told her it wasn’t my fault the food wasn’t ready, the way she responded was so rude and unprofessional, her attitude with customers stinks it’s the worst customer service going, if the shop continues to employ people like her I guarantee this shop with fail and not succeed. Absolutely appalling behaviour!

Ordered the full peri peri chicken meal for £10 and burgers. I must sat the peri chicken was the driest chicken I've EVER tested. It was hard and very chewy, absolutely disgusting. My child wanted ice-cream and when I went to order, they said that the the ice cream wasn't good to eat. Worst ever experience ever, left the shop thinking the fries were the best part...

I had a very negative first experience of this place. It was the first time I had seen this shop and thought I’d give it a go. Firstly, when I wanted to order, I wasn’t even acknowledged even after waiting patiently for a few mins, the staff were unprofessional and talking amongst themselves with no awareness of the customers. I had to call the cashier to take my order. Secondly, many tables including mine were not cleared away from previous diners so I had to clean it myself. When the food came, it looked okay on the outset until I began eating. The slices were glued together and when detaching each slice they would break in pieces which was very frustrating. I believe there was too much cheese in the pizza. I had ordered a chicken pizza but I could not taste anything at all apart from cheese. Literally, the pizza was probably 99% cheese, I could NOT taste any chicken at all. It was like I eating warm cheese. The fries were very bland with no flavour, ugh. I have attached images, the images were taken before anyone took a bite. This is a legitimate review and my sole intention is so that these guys can see this and fix up! Multiple issues on first visit, not good!
