Charcoal Grill Kebab House in Waveney

Dreadful food. Despite using this place for a few year, our last order took 70 minutes to arrive, was tasteless and very cold.

Ordered for delivery via Just Eat, our food arrived over 30 minutes late and was cold and the chips and pitta were stale. Asked for a delivery charge refund and they refused. Awful food, bad customer service!

Had chicken wrap large kebab , very good , Hille sauce not that hot ? But overall much better than most other kebabs . Will definitely re order good stuff guys

We use the Charcoal Grill Kebab at least twice a month but tonight we wasted our money. We called in an order to collect at 16:55 and were told it would be 25 minutes, we were with friends just 2 minutes away. After 15 minutes they called us to ask our address, we said it was to collect, they then said its ready waiting for us, i said you tole us 25 minutes and he repeated its ready, so we said our goodbyes & went straight there. It wasn't ready!!! They had only just started to cook the chicken shish! The normal man was cooking and asked if we were there to collect but a younger man was there & from what we could see was adding confusion to the cooking. We waited and waited and eventually at 17:40, 45 minutes after we ordered we had our takeaway. I had kebab meat & a portion of chips, the meat was dripping in grease/fat and even with 6 sheets of kitchen roll under it to drain it (when I got home), it was still greasy. The chips were hot but within a couple of minutes went hard and chewy (re heated we think) but either way they were not nice. Unsure why tonight was so bad but we wasted our money on this Sunday treat.

Shabby looking take a way inside and out. Placed my order chicken and chips, then was ignored for so long i nearly walked out. I did not see anything hygiene wise during prep and cooking to worry about. The chicken was very nice, better than KFC the chips hard and cold.

food was awfully slimey and dripping with rancid fat. staff not follow hygiene practices, kitchen filthy. made my family ill for days

Food was OK, a bit dry this time. It was mainly the delivery driver, who did not read instructions. I asked them not to ring door bell, as children asleep, he rung the door bell! As a consequence, he did not receive a tip.

Always good food and pleased with free garlic bread pizza. Only negative is chips (as in all kebab shops we’ve tried) the chips could be nicer. Overall very happy though and would order again .

We often order from charcoal but found they didn’t give us chips with our burger and chips meal so had to share chips from the dinner meat and chips meal Didn’t call to sort problem as the food would have been cold by time chips arrived

Arrived late, burgers were dry, kebabs were covered in grease and pizza was dripping grease and oil, place was better before it changed owners

If every time an order is placed just one thing gets left off who is going to bother complaining and waiting for another delivery of that item? So we didn't, but how much extra money is the restaurant stealing like this? and that one item is 10% of the total. If I asked for 10% discount what would the restaurant tell me to do? How hard is it to fill an order? It's in front of you in writing!! How about next time your car goes in for a service the garage only puts 90% of the parts back on they remove? Wouldn't be so good then would it? Another one I wont be ordering from again

was my husbands birthday there was 6Adults & 6 children so had a lot of food. was all cooked lovely & it was nice & hot. wasn't much left either

the chicken fillet burger was so good that why I always get it but my chips were cold and the cheese wasn't melted and so it was sorta warm cheese and chips and so I hardly ate them besides that good food ☺️

My daughter went here with her husband and they both told me not to go here the food isn't worth the money and they said the service isn't much either

We ordered £15 worth of food and they not only got the main part of the order wrong it was missing half the order and we were still expected to pay the order price!! A courtesy call wouldn't of gone a miss to offer alternatives and I certainly don't expect to pay for something you've run out of!

We thoroughly enjoyed the food and would definitely order from here again based on the food quality. I didn't appreciate how the person at the restaurant spoke to me. It's not the customer's fault you can't find a place. Postal code, specific directions to the specific flat and the address should be enough.

Ordered pepperoni pizza and cheese and tomato pizza... got two cheese and tomatoes. Same order, asked for orange Fanta.... got coke. They did send me out a new pizza and Fanta. But I was that hungry I had eaten half the cheese and tomato before it finally turned up. Won't be using them again

Food is really nice but I was dissapointed on Friday as we ordered a pizza and got one free I ask for too meat feast and only got 1 and some think completely different with papers. I don't like peppers I really hope it don't happen again

Food was lukewarm. Cold drinks were warm as all were in the same bag. Pizza flavour was nice, would have been better if it was hotter. Chips were colder than mcdonalds on a bad day. Got a notification saying it was on way. Waited 15 mins for them to do a 5 min drive. Rang up and was told it hasn't left yet, will be 20 mins. No apology or anything. Won't be returning here anytime soon.
