A blessing I chose this little cafe among the many others in Broadstairs, situated minutes from the station on the high street, I felt some very positive vibes as soon as I saw this lovely lady serving other customers with a big smile. The cafe is tiny, however very, very cosy, the food is cooked by the owner is very tasty, fresh, generous and at a very reasonable price. The place is spotless clean and the owner and his wife are the sweetest couple, very friendly, kind, discreet and cheerful. We had a very nice chat and I had great fun. I loved my breakfast time there and will go back soon. 5 stars do not do justice here, more like 100 ✨

Decided to have a coffee-and-cake stop here on my way into Broadstairs from the station. Was attracted by the coloured furniture on the pavement out front. But then surprised by how tiny the inside premises were, little above kiosk size. The guy who served me--maybe Turkish?--was outstandingly lovely. He treated me like an honoured guest. I suspect the other staff member was his wife. They clearly bake their own cakes. Not a huge selection, understandably, but what they had made looked lush. I chose a blueberry slice, and it was quite wonderful. Despite the wind, which blew my serviette away, I was in heaven eating the lovely cake and drinking a coffee so good that I ordered a second. The combination of good coffee and good cake is for me one of the most blissful pleasures in life. Clearly this is a business starting out from a tiny beginning. But what they do is of high quality, so I back them to do well. Don't miss Chaplin--it's the definition of a hidden gem.

My husband and I stopped here on a walk with our dog. Our dog was allowed into the bar area but we chose to sit outside and water was given for her. We had a half of lager each (£5.20 for both) and ea
