Updating this review to add how much Gorton appreciates you Chan's! You delivered a delicious meal to me this evening, as requested with extra syrup sauce for the ribs and extra spicy vermicelli. Always tweaking the food by the customers request. Thanks to you and your family for such a great service you chose to have here in this community. - August 2024 Food is always fine here for us, never have a problem and the delivery is super fast. We always order the crispy duck and vermicelli. The duck is always juicy and not full of fat. The vermicelli is tasty and always made spicy for me as I ask in the extra instructions when ordering. The Beef Black Bean sauce is also amazing, and the curry sauce is yum ;-) Can’t complain.

Won’t order again now. Food arrived fast but as usual salt and pepper chips have no flavour to them it’s just plain chips tossed around with some chillis onions and carrots could easily make them ourselves at home very disappointed considering we ordered 2 portions and they are £5.50 EACH so expensive!

I have eaten here a few times with no issues but our last order did not seem fresh at all. Clumpy grainy rice that was over cooked, prawn crackers with no crack as they were soft almost stale, the ribs which are usually tender and fall of the bone were tougher than expected. The salt and pepper wings were overcooked and the skin had become crunchy and chewy. Me and my partner have been suffering with horrendous abdominal pain since we ate here. quite disappointed. won't be returning.

Food was lovely. But delivery guy was cheeky just walked off with my change I didn’t say he could keep it I passed him money he looked at it and just walked off, should always wait to be told if customer is giving a tip not just assume and keep it never had that before

The food was pretty good, however the ‘spiciness’ of the singapore style dishes were kind of nonexistent and meats were a bit dry. Chicken balls are classic and taste nice only wish they gave less sauce. thanks

I haven't had a meal from Chans for a while, wow the food has gone downhill, they even sent food I didn't order, I ordered chicken Satay skewers and got spare rids. never again.

Marked as “delivered” and just gave it to some random guy from our block, didn’t ask their name I assume. Didn’t call me on arrival. They ended up re-cooking it and then re-delivering however, wouldn’t bother again since they were extremely accusatory when I called them. Just saw the option to review from last year teehee

Food was quite nice, (when I could eventually bring myself to eat it) probably won't be ordering from here again though due to the joker of a delivery driver who very carlessly & clesrly disrespectfully just dumped my food on the floor, outside (where the pigeons drop and insects live) - as if this is normal and acceptable. Very strange. Find me anybody who wants their food on the floor but especially someone from a culture who should know better. What a load.

We've ordered from here quite a lot and the food has always been good. Last night was a different story. The fried rice was like a brick. It slid out of the container and remained in a congealed shape. I think we'd been given day-old rice. If we were in a restaurant it would have been sent back, but as it was a delivery order it was just disposed of and, disappointingly, we won't be ordering from this restaurant again.

2 approved dishes out of 8. A couple being not to our personal taste tbf. Mushroom rice being the worst super stodgy and grim threw out CBA trying for refund on low value item in spite of straight up bad preparation there. I don't think it would much harm us, just not enjoyable. Fish was 3 quarters batter, double-fried seemingly. Chips and lemon Chicken were rly good tho.

Delivery fine but food the vermicelli wasn’t nice. Too wet. Don’t mind but couldn’t eat it sorry. Other than that was ok

Really nice food and always quick and reliable, but on this occasion they failed to give us the prawn crackers we ordered... £3.50 too, not cheap!

Lovely chips and peas but the fish was huge but a bit to greasy for me and far to much batter.

The food is flavourless! No beansprouts at all in my meal! Bland, flavourless and greasy! Btw my main was supposed to be a beansprouts n meat meal!

Very bland food. The chips were so hard and the curry sauce was way too thick and tasted soo Smokey rather than curry. The honey and chilli sauce chicken tasted like the chicken was dripped in sugar. The vermicelli was not spicy at all as stated and the rice was so bland with no flavour and a couple of prawns inside. Not good good at all and will avoid with all cost.

The worse food I have ever had in my life. The salt and pepper chips were disgusting nothing nice about it shocking! The chicken friend rice was burnt along with the whole order being cold the chicken was so dry tasted like everything had been heated in the microwave and left to cool down rubbery just awful the only thing that tasted of something was the curry sauce

I ordered shrimps and they were delicious. I received my order quickly and hot. My belly is now full and happy. Lady who picked up an order is also a very kind and helpful person. I recommend this place as one of the best Chinese Takeaways in Manchester.

2nd time eating here, overall foods good, vermicelli great and ribs are lovely fall off the bone, for me sauces are a bit thick but tasty.

Delivered way too early, I had to wait for my partner to get home, but the food was delicious. Also, please read the notes your customers leave when placing the order!

My daughter enjoyed her Chinese dishes but my chippy dishes had no flavour. I got meat and potato pie chips and gravy and it was so bland

Delivery was bang on time and all the food was piping hot with plenty of meat in both of the dishes ordered. The ribs were delicious and the meat came off the bones with ease 😋😋😋

Order arrived early and food was piping hot, the ribs were some of the best we’d ever eaten. S & P chicken wings were excellent. Special fried rice with sauce was really good just a bit to much sauce for my taste. My husband loved the vermicelli but I was not a fan tbh. Both of us found the curry sauce way to salty
