Beautiful fish and chips, and the sausage and chips I had previously was also perfect!

Freshly cooked chips with lightly battered fish. Superb

Not good service. Stood there like I was invisible while they ignored me and had a laugh and a joke. Rude! Used to be a really good place. Would rather chat with people they know than cater to newer customers!

Went into shop ordered chips with 3 chicken balls and sweet and sour sauce but was given curry sauce seriously how can they get such a simple order wrong then told to walk back down and they can give me a little of the right sauce to mix in what a joke

Chinese takeaway been in Rhydyfelin since I was here 1979 not sure when it official opened

It's s imple chippy with many a chinese menu option but a huge portion of very tasty chips with a nice breast of chicken that was tender not dry. The fish looked delicious too. if i'm doen that way again i would definitely buy food here. Finally it was heaving in there & i think that points to it being popular as there are other chippies nearby.

As a family, we travel from Llantrisant for a takeaway as we feel this is the best around. The king prawn/chicken curries are packed with goodies and the chips are to die for. Friendly staff, quick service and not too expensive. We love it here!!

Chans is one of the best places to eat in pontypridd the staff are friendly and the food is always super fresh...l can highly recommend it

Curry sauce was a bit pale and bland. Foo yung was pale and like scrambled egg rather than a golden coloured folded omelette. Fried rice was saturated in oil. Looks like a rush job

Just ordered from here thought would give it a go as some good reviews but worst Chinese I’ve ever tasted had king prawn chow mein no taste whatsoever tasted like boiled prawns burnt onions with beansprouts and noodles no taste at all same for the watery curry sauce and I’ve had hundreds of Chinese’s over the years never tasted anything so bland. Ended up in the bin. Never again Chans Fish bar for Chinese.

We placed a large order for 25 Fish and chips and were very happy with the service and lovely fish and chips which were individually packaged, delivered on time, hot succulent fish. Thankyou Chans for a great service at a time when we just needed a break from catering for a large crowd. Will highly recommend you! X

absolutely disgusting customer service. the lady got my order wrong, refused to change it or give me my money back then insisted she had read it back to me, when I said she hadn't, she started shouting that I had called her a liar in a shop full of people. got home and the food was horrible anyway. Will not be returning.
