Chai Latte Cafe in Manchester

Chai Latte is a breakfast spot that has potential with its nice food offerings, but unfortunately, my experience was overshadowed by the poor customer service. The food itself was enjoyable and had a good variety, making it a pleasant start to the day. However, the service left much to be desired. The old lady who was taking our order seemed indifferent and rushed. She didn’t take the time to explain the menu or offer any recommendations, which made the experience feel rushed and unwelcoming. It felt like we were just another table to get through rather than valued customers. In summary, while Chai Latte serves tasty breakfast dishes, I hope they can improve their customer service to match the quality of their food. A friendly and attentive staff can make all the difference in creating a positive dining experience.

I have been going to Chai Latte for 28 months with friends we have always found the staff polite , professional and helpful. Chai Latte has a welcoming environment and bg music which helps the ambiance of the Zplace the owner Fez is very polite and respectful and also welcoming. I highly recommend Chai Zlatte to enjoy a drink and a chat a meal with your friends.

Found this place on Google, nice little place for breakfast or brunch. We ordered omelette with toast and falafel panini, all was good.

I am at the moment on holiday in Manchester , me and my husband was looking for a halal breakfast we came across Chai Latte in town, we decided we would eat there and had the worst customer service in my entire life to swap and item they would charge me , speaking very badly to customers, too expensive for what it is,.

Me and husband were looking for somewhere in MCR city centre that do breakfast all day and doesn't cost the earth. I found Chai Latte by Google search and was surprised when i saw this little gem hidden in Stevenson Square, me and my husband love going for drinks in the northern quarter so I was really surprised how we had overlooked this place so often for food. The shop looks small on the outside but goes far back, the menu it seems has something for everyone which I think is hard to find in MCR. The freshly squeezed orange juice is so refreshing and the quality of the breakfast baps we had were really good. The bread just slightly toasted and the fillings plentiful for under £4. Really impressed by the offerings and prices really good! The chocolate cakes etc they had on offer looked really nice too!

Went there THREE times as their food was absolutely lovely and to top it off the staff was so so welcoming and warm. One of the best hot chocolates I've ever tasted. Will be back in 2 years to have more of their amazing food!

Gorgeous hidden gem. Staff are so friendly and look after you royally. Was being good having a sandwich and then it nose dived into a milkshake and waffle. Can’t wait to come back.

Food was actually quite nice, couldn't really fault it - it came very quickly and was hot and tasty. But we ordered hot drinks that did not arrive until after we had finished our meal, and only after the chef had gone to chase our drinks up for us 3 times. The chai latte was nice but do not order the biscoff steamer. It came as a custard consistency super sweet 'drink' that could only be eaten with a spoon and was undrinkable. Food - nice enough but customer service was poor and would not return again for drinks.

Worst food ever here, they somehow managed to put plastic inside a veggie sausage sandwich. The coffee is vile and even the bread is disappointing. I swear I got poorly because of eating here. Its a total disgrace

Food you cannot fault. However the customer service was quiet shocking. Asked if I could replace the full English turkey rashers for a sausage and was told it’s a fixed menu so they can’t swap anything. But was told if I wanted anything extra I’d be charged but I wanted anything less it wouldn’t be taken off. Not customer focused at all. Make sure you like everything on the menu or you’ll be told ‘if you don’t eat it that’s your own choice, we can’t remove it’ 😂😂😂

First of all was very put off by seeing the owner arguing with a customer I was right she was sooooo rude She tried to correct things they were doing wrong by saying she had 20 years of experience…. We visited for breakfast. The lady at the till overcharged us by nearly £7 and was very abrupt about it when i gently questioned her and tried explaining that i think she may have made a small error. She just didnt want to hear it - gave me an itemised bill and told me she will come over if im still unsatisfied. I felt really uncomfortable and made to look quite silly. I recalculated the prices and was quite certain she had not applied the 50% off to a few of the items. Only when i got hold of a waitress and gently explained to her sbe listened and went back and confirmed it was their mistake and returned some money. However by then I was really embarrassed and made to feel like I was making a fuss out of nothing by the first lady. She didnt want to acknowledge that she may have made a mistake. Worst thing was there was no apology and when i walked past the till to go home the waitress who originally served me didnt even look up to smile - looked pure angry that she had been pulled up on her mistake. The tea my husband didnt enjoy , hot chocolate was nice. Full breakfast was half eaten evn though every one was very hungry and chicken wraps had more leafy lettuce in than any filling. Presentation however was lovely

Visited with friends.. Nice breakfast, full english was filling, decent tea and coffee, did take them a while to prepare our breakfast there was four of us.

Not only have they got rid of the paintings on the walls (it looks super bland inside now), they also increased the price of the full english breakfast from £7.50 (w/ Tea) to £8.50 without Tea. Along with that, if you’re not into the mushrooms included, you can’t swap them for anything else. The fact this place is rated 4/5 is ridiculous. Never coming back.

Lovely staff serving a lovely full English breakfast! We bought 2 drinks and couldn’t tell the difference due to it being our first time, we didn’t see this as a bad thing as both were really nice. I will be back for more 😊 Thank you
