Cozy, luxurious, complete with suggestive red lighting. Stylish. They have great drinks and attentive service.

We didn't have a booking but they said we could stay for a couple of hours until other bookings came in. They sat us next to the door, after half an hour we thought about going somewhere else as we were actually getting cold in the place we were sat and there was no atmosphere at all. Slowly other people started coming in and there was a karaoke show with Alice, which ended up being wonderful! We spent a really lovely night and the atmosphere changed drastically. Pros: We did go without a booking during Hogmanay and they even let us stay longer than expected. Cons: No much variety with cocktails. They only had a few classic cocktails and that's it. I would recommend this place but probably only if you have a booking for the drag show.

Rude staff behind bar , made wait ages was very underwhelming, don't bother wasting your time , I've seen Far better drag acts

Just a great fun night out. We were in early for drinks and drag. Didn't expect much in atmosphere for a Sunday night but the place was banging. Music good, cocktails excellent and the drag dancers brilliant. A super fun couple of hours

I booked a table at 11.30pm and was not informed the show ended at midnight. We also had a table where we could see half of what was happening. Annoying 😑

Rude bartender gave is single instead of double when i chalanged him he called rhe security on me and my friends. Do t entertain him people. Not worth it! Its full of idiots.

Being charged for doubles on singles Only time the club had life was when when my friend started dancing We got withheld entry until midnight because it was full. We got inside and it was completely dead, no dancing, no vibes. ON HALLOWEEN

I had the best Negroni of my life here tonight. Very impressed with the staff and their fun chat. El was especially nice to us and took special requests(hope we weren’t awkward :/) will be back x

This place is amazing very lively had a great time.

Would 100% recommend. Drag queens were brilliant, pizza slices and cocktails were delicious. Service was great and very attentive.

Waiter said they had no malbec only Shiraz or pilot noir...we ordered the shiraz to be told they had none only merlot...ordered at bar and were served malbec!

Such a wonderful evening! Had a short but sweet stay here before an evening at the comedy club for my birthday and it was fabulous! The host was very talented and hilarious! Wished me happy birthday and was way funnier than the comedians up the road (sorry) 🤣 when I come for another night out I will most definitely be taking a trip to Casablanca. Thank you so much for making our evening special ladies x

A great night out in a cosy night club atmosphere. Talented performers with outstanding abilities ranging from bare faced cheek, professional gymnastic art performances to a Les Dawson sound alike who then turns it around to be Tina Turner incarnate. You have to book a table and also enjoy loud disco music. Waiting and bar staff highly professional, fast and extremely polite and pleasant. Great choice of cocktails and champagne's as well as beer's. Situated on first floor with access on street level in ' The House of Gods'Cowgate (Coogate) Edinburgh. All age groups having a great party night out with much dancing and hilarity as The Creme de la Creme of Scottish Drag Flaunt and Strut there Stuff.

Went for my friends 30th, it was fab! A great atmosphere, good music and the bar wasn't too expensive. We booked a table which I think might be necessary- but not totally sure! It was busy and fun! Thoroughly recommend

Very cosy and stylish interior. However service was very slow despite there being very few other customers. The cocktails looked great but unfortunately the spec was off and the amount of citric acid made them overly harsh. My throat was still sore the next morning!

This is not a reflection on the drag artists who are fabulous but the drinks my best friend and I had were vile. Worst cocktails of my life.

Attended one of the drag evenings on a Friday evening, can highly recommend. Good service, entertaining and a nice environment.

Gorgeous Boutique club/Bar in the Cowgate. Attended a night on New Years Day. Great Staff and Music. Amazing atmosphere and a lovely seating area downstairs. the Door staff were also friendly.

We enjoyed this drag show bar, despite being under dressed for it. The queen's were fun, the staff friendly but the dreadful bar service was disappointing.

Out with my boyfriend for his birthday had a great night, drag shows were awesome, staff very friendly and attentive, remember to tip all the "dolls" will be back again.

We had cocktails at the little cocktail bar in the House of Gods hotel (part of Casablanca). Stunning interior, warm and welcoming. Brilliant cocktails and great service. I would recommend for some quiet cocktails with friends, it would also make a good date location!

I went there with my friend who works there, the place is very classy and beautiful . Must see the drag show its must trust me on it like the beautiful queen's know how to make you laugh and smile .

Amazing entertainment and lovely staff! we didn’t book so did not get a table but we were allowed to stand at the bar, we still got too see the drag show and the girl at the bar made us some surprise cocktails which were delicious!

Made a reservation for the drag show and then we were told that it's up to the Queen's whether they are going to perform or not. Which is fine but the website advertised a drag show. What was worse was we ordered our drinks and 30mins later they still hadn't arrived at our table so we asked where they were and 30 more minutes later they still hadn't shown up. We got ready to leave and a waiter came over with 3 of the wrong drinks and we told him this. Then he came back 5 mins later with the same incorrect drinks. Then the waiter was frustrated with us for not paying for drinks but we never got the drinks we ordered! We sat there for an hour and didn't have any drinks at all so I don't know what they wanted us to pay for. Really sad because this seemed like a cool place.

Super friendly and cute cocktail bar with reasonable prices and good music. A great place to hide away from the crowds during fringe.

Tot location for a city like Edinburgh, however the drag nights are a bit of a cheap entertainment as the "artists" have no talent. They might bring more people in or not however, with myself in particulae I try to visit the place whenever they do not host a drag night.

This place is absolutely stunning inside! Great music and great table service. The drag queens performing on Friday 22nd July were just fabulous! Had us in stitches, looked great and danced amazingly. Even though they were one queen down on the night they didn’t hesitate to pose for a photo and took time to get to say hi to everyone. The cocktails were delicious and priced as expected. We had a blast!

Enjoyed the novelty of picking your cocktail based on a tarot card reading. Very fancy & lovely atmosphere. Cocktails were delicious

Went to a drag show here and the location was perfect for a fun Sunday night out. Its very chic, quite possibly has the cleanest mens bathrooms I've seen in ages and thr staff are perfect. Only downside is it's a bit expensive (for me anyway) but I suppose you're paying for the whole experience.

Went to Casablanca for a really fun drag show. The cocktails here are gorgeously presented and taste amazing.

Had an absolutely brilliant night here - the drag show was so much fun, staff were very attentive and the drinks were superb! Cannot wait to come back - highly recommend the Drinks, Drag and Decadence (Donatella's Drag Show) on a Sunday evening as it is highly entertaining!

Nice place but execution left a lot to be desired. We had a booking for 11pm. Made to wait outside for 20 minutes. After 1 hour of being inside, we still hadn’t had our first round of drinks fully delivered after being told they were being made every 10 minutes. This was g&t’s and not convoluted cocktails. Not setup for that many covers, the wait times were ridiculous. Would not recommend for a buzz night out, we asked for a refund for outstanding drinks and left to go elsewhere. Staff were friendly and apologetic, but sadly doesn’t make it an OK destination for a night out.

What a great find. Food, service and cocktails were all great. We had a great night. Only small critique, the music taste didn't suit the venue.

Overall a good experience, pre-dinner drinks in bar were good, slow service to start but got better. Cocktails were good, the House of Gods was super strong so they changed it with no issue. Restaurant was great setting, service was good but overall food was just ok hence 4 stars. Would visit again for drinks but not dinner.

Website says “made for misbehaving” and “dancing on tables” but you can’t even turn up a bit buzzed on your bday (let my group of 12 in but said no to me and we were all equal levels of drunk lol) My 2 star is more for the FOH staff - both a bit ex military vibes and I can take “no” and move to the next gaff (which I did) but wasn’t really keen on their approach. I would suggest one sound and one military to even it out.

Don’t be fooled the website pictures look great but the experience is no where near as good. It was like being on an episode of the Apprentice where Alan Sugar had asked the candidates to set up and run a restaurant. The receptionist was lovely and that is where it ended. We were late in being taken to our table and then two hours later having waited around 45 minutes for our drinks we were asked to move as the table was booked and we hadn’t even been offered the dessert menu or coffee. The starters were okay , then main course a burger in a black bun , not worth the £22 and then if you are looking to have a conversation don’t bother the music is so loud , sign language is the only way and that is if you can see each other as it is so dark. Trying too hard to be different and offering a luxury service when it is no where that . Also as a final point was offered on the telephone to bring out a cake for my 20 year old daughters birthday and that never appeared . Needless to say won’t be going back and would recommend to avoid at all costs .

Amazing evening spent at Casablanca, good menu of fun cocktails and we both really loved the drag show (which was a surprise as didn't know was happening but made our visit really memorable. The DJ was incredible!

My experience here was fine, the cocktails were average but the service & venue were top notch. My issue is when I placed my booking I was unexpectedly charged a £50 deposit I wasn't told about, and it took them 3 weeks to refund me.

Fine dining quality food and waiting service in a fancy, clubby atmosphere.
