A pleasant surprise, a real gem that I’m pleased we have found. Having lived in the area for the majority of my life, I have always said I wanted to try Casa Mia but have never quite made it there until this evening. Firstly, it is helpful to know that there is a small car park to the rear of the building. We were greeted by a friendly server who was very welcoming. Once seated, our drinks order was promptly taken. San Miguel was a very reasonable £4.35 and a lime and lemonade was £3.10. We were also shown the specials board whilst we browsed the extensive menu. There is truly an option for everyone with the offering comprising of fish, lamb, pork, beef and chicken dishes, along with pizza and pasta. We decided to opt for the fish cakes and mushrooms stuffed lamb mince smothered in cheese to start (£10 each), followed by a ham pizza (£14) and tagliatelle bolognese (£13) for main course. Everything tasted homemade, was flavoursome and filling. In addition, we were served with a warm bread basket with lurpak butter. The pasta was cooked al dente, and the seasoning was perfectly balanced. We concluded our meal with a coffee (£3) which was served with biscuits. As we dined mid week and slightly later than peak time, the restaurant was quiet and lacked a bit of ambience. However, I would imagine that it gets much busier on weekends. A special mention is needed for our server who was so attentive, so cheery, and genuinely made the entire experience feel special. The bill came to around £75 for 2 starters, 2 mains, 3 lime and lemonades, 2 beers, coffee and a tip. Highly recommend and we look forward to returning soon.

Fifteen of us went on a Saturday night,to celebrate the retirement of our sister in law. The whole night couldn't have gone better!! From the wonderful welcome and assistance from all staff,to the excellent food, frankly couldn't say enough in compliment. Thanks for a really wonderful evening.

Great food and the owner stayed open for us after a long drive. Have given 3 star for the atmosphere as we’re were the only customers in so lacked a bit of atmosphere. Otherwise service a brill and the food was good.

WOW! First time here - The place was so inviting - It has lovely decor - It’s very clean - Mai the manager table service was FANTASTIC, she has a lovely sense of humour and we loved how positive she is about life - The food was packed full of flavour and cooked to perfection - Oh and the cocktails were soooo nice - We enjoyed every minute we were there and will definitely be back next time we’re in the area! 10/10 5 Star

Absolutely can not fault this place, the food is AMAZING!!! I have never seen my husband finish a T-Bone steak off like he did, it was cooked perfectly and presented perfectly. I had the pasta which was amended to carter for what I liked and I can honestly say it was soooooo good …….. We eat out a lot and have tried many restaurants but none have come close to this one. This is now our favourite restaurant.

I came with my children to have a family meal however, this was completely ruined by the female owner of the restaurant. Due to a discrepancy on the bill which I queried, where I was over charged for 2 items that we did not order - when I questioned the waiter, the owner ran over and I faced a tired of abuse from her - she shouted across the restaurant that she will slap my face and to shut up! I have never experienced a owner of a restaurant treating a paying customer in such manner. Will not be returning and advise everyone to avoid at all costs. for was cold and the restaurant as very dark and cold with no welcoming atmosphere.

Staying away for work and am sick of the usually associated hotel meals so I’ve started googling the local restaurants to the hotel. I tried the stroganoff which in the past, I have found to be a bit sweet for my very savoury palette. This sauce was excellent! Beef tender and although I usually order with rice, the potatoes and veg were perfect accompaniments…. I was a bit unsure about the amount of choice on the menu; why I chose a divisive dish but if the rest of them are half as good as this, they can offer options as well. Staff friendly, welcoming and attentive. The lady that runs the place has some stories to tell also! 😂 Will remember the place and would happily bring others if in the area again!

Our first visit to this place, very friendly greeting, the staff were all lovely throughout the night and the owner Julia was especially welcoming. We didn’t feel rushed after eating our food, which was absolutely delicious, and stayed right until the end - I think we were the last people in there! The menu is a real variety of cuisines, lots of choices on the specials board too - it was really busy which gives you an indication as to how good it is. I will definitely return, lovely evening, great food and a great atmosphere all round. Thank you Julia and your team.

A hidden gem! I have visited Casa Mia many times over several years, the welcome and service have always been excellent. This was no exception (April 24th); great & varied menu with something for everyone; some of the best seafood dishes I have ever tasted (the halibut in particular is to die for), using freshly cooked ingredients. A couple of our party hadn't been before and they were completely blown away by the no fuss but excellent cuisine. THE place for a relaxing and chilled evening.

Very nice place. Very taste food. I ordered vegetarian lasagne and I received huge portion of delicious meal. Mia and her Mum were incredible!!! They even brought a birthday cake with a candle for my daughter, as we celebrated her birthday. Recommend this restaurant.

I was a little sceptical about visiting as the outside doesn’t look the most inviting and it was pretty much empty when we walked in but I was pleasantly surprised to say the least. Very delicious food. Loads to choose from on the normal menu and a specials menu board. Food piping hot. Waitresses really lovely. We will be returning for a family birthday meal next month.

Party of 25, pre ordered food as requested, although food was ok they mixed up orders, disorganised, some received food when everyone else had finished, vegetables & side orders missing when main meals had been delivered. Some staff had attitudes. Bill was a nightmare, extra drinks put on bill also charged "compulsory"??? Services charge which was substantial on a bill this size which said discretionary on menu emailed to us. Absolutely ruined our night & won't be going back. Customer service needs to be improved.

Absolutely amazing food here, this chef really knows how to cook!! On weekends there’s a massive board of specials and everything we’ve ordered from here has been 10/10. The tiny car park gets rammed and everyone has to park down the road the food is that good here. Recommend 100%

Ordered 2 pastas dishes and they were beautiful. Delivery was early (good thing) and the driver was lovely. Came with some free bread too. Absolutely delicious. We normally sit in at Casa Mia but this was enjoyable to have it at home. Will be ordering again!

Booked for husbands birthday party of 17. Was a bit worried after reading some of the reviews recently but have to say everything was perfect, food spot on, service prompt. The only criticism is the service charges on food and drink and I have got to contact them as they didn't deduct the deposits and that was £90.

Lovely food - way better than what you get at chains like Bella Italia. You can tell everything is made fresh and with love. Plus they always serve big hearty portion sizes. Atmosphere is always great and the owners are welcoming and friendly. Decor is pretty and looks homely. If you want to catchup with friends or go out for a meal with the family - there's no place better in the Walsall/Wednesbury area.

Service was not great at all, waited ages to take our drinks orders, and other tables who came after us were served first. Food did taste nice, once it eventually came.

Not my cup of tea at all. They should just do pub food, burgers and that because i found it to be like the chef is kind of trying too hard. Like it’s not a proper chef. The foods bland and them weird potatoes with every dish is strange.

Having booked a large table for my daughters 16th birthday, I was really looking forward to spending time with all our family and celebrating this occasion, but they just can’t cope with this many people, the owner was lovely to start with but when I gave her some Criticism on the way it was organised that’s when it changed, I used the word “scatty” as orders was not being taken properly i had to ask them to take starter orders, I’d already pre-ordered mains to make it abit easier but still simple details like how would people like there food cooked was missed, there are to many unexperienced girls working there who were lovely and it wasn’t there fault but they didn’t know how to wait on a table, they didn’t know the names of the food dishes that were coming out so luckily I had my list to basically do there job for them, sides wasn’t coming out with mains, the managers daughter was also very rude and argumentative with family members who again was just trying to tell them what the problem was,then when it come to paying for the bill that was another nightmare, then they have the cheek to put service charges on each individual payment, when questioned the young girl said it pays our wages and it’s mandatory, also they kept charging different prices for there over priced drinks do they put service charges on these just be aware of that if you visit, the whole experience left me stressed and in the end I forgot to do my daughters birthday cake so it just spoilt what should of been a nice occasion.

A party of 20 but we had all ordered our mains in advance. We had to wait 90 minutes for our food, there were children with us who did not get their meals until 9pm. Table was booked for 7pm. We complained saying service was scatty, for some reason the manager thought this meant something else, dirty she said. We attempted to make her understand that we meant the staff did not know what was going on. She said I have a girl on work experience and so why would she know. The owners daughter is aggressive and even though I explained her Mom, the manager was lovely and it was the service that was poor in terms of speed and knowing what is what, she continued to be not very nice. The waitresses had to ask at the bar what the food was that they were serving. Sides didn't come out with mains, we had to chase and steaks had to go back to be cooked to preference. Lovely food when it comes out on time, staff are lovely but the manager needs to sack her daughter from front of house and put more time into their lovely waitresses. They are at the forefront and are brilliant x

I absolutely love this place. The food is always very tasty and the portions are plentiful. The staff are always very friendly and attentive. There can be a wait between courses during busy periods, but this is only because the food is cooked fresh to order. If you have not been, I can recommend a visit.

Fantastic Mediterranean food but service is terrible have been there several times and excused the waiting time and missed orders as food is so nice but tonight put me off as management seemed to try pass buck on new staff who clearly had already had grief all night , the staff are young inexperienced and lovely it’s not there fault orders were taken wrong ( by owner ) and it’s not there fault drinks weren’t brought out altogether, or the food wasn’t wasn’t bought out all together… it took 31/2 hours ! Yes a discount was acceptable but blaming your staff in front of customers and having them in tears is not …. Sorry but won’t be returning

This is simply the best Mediterranean Cuisine in the Uk!!! Fresh and delicious dishes, outstanding customer service, so clean and hygienic, reasonable priced menu, serving exotic drinks with vibrant atmosphere.

Recent visit with family. Food itself was ok, however sadly we had a ridiculously long wait for our food. Almost 2 hours between ordering and our mains arriving at the table. At times many of the staff didn't seem to know what was going on, and everything all seemed to happen in a panic with all waitresses dealing with a single table at once, rather than one managing a specific set of tables and diners that they took care of. Interior felt quite dated and the lighting kept flickering on and off throughout the evening. The atmosphere was totally ruined by the unnecessarily loud music which was far too high for a restaurant and for people to talk and engage with each other. Overall, I sadly won't be rushing back, as despite some tasty food, the atmosphere and service simply aren't good enough.

Another great meal out here. Yes sometimes the service is slow but that suits us, we don't like being rushed. Owner always friendly and helpful. Well worth the money. Portions are huge. We are always very satisfied. One of our favourite places to eat out at.

Lovely food...menu very good -vried origin including Italian, Spanish and other, for example, Moussaka and Stroganoff (the latter I had and was delicious). The atmosphere would be good I'm sure in normal hours but I was there with a group at like 60m, so too early for any crowds to have gathered. Still it was good for a chat with my friends

Went to casa mia for our anniversary meal and I can honestly say, its one of the best restaurants I've ever been to, the food was so tasty, I didn't want it to end. My husband had the steak and said it was way better than a certain well known steak house. We will definitely be going back. Absolutely amazing.. couldn't fault anything

Love the food and service which is always offered. Great Mediterranean restaurant located near jnc 9 of the M6. Some parking but other available on nearby roads. We're fairly regular customers and keep getting drawn back by the excellent food and choice. Service is excellent, you're always made to feel at home and are well looked after. Highly recommended and can't wait to return.

What an amazing family run business! The food is completely incredible!l then they bring out the specials menu out and everything on there is tantalising!! First time here, and really enjoyed it, the staff are lovely, couldn’t do enough for us. The food was really good and fresh. Place is very clean and a lovely chilled out atmosphere, the parking is bad but we managed to get down one of the side roads nearby.

Went for a friend's 50th birthday celebration. Was greater and seated then waited over half hour to be asked for a drink order, eventually Went to the bar and ordered then waited another 20 minutes to be served. After over a hour & half and asking for our order to be taken where finally seen to. I personally asked for the margarita pizza with an extra topping priced at £12.95. When it came it was like a supermarket pizza and tasted like cardboard. When I complained I was supposedly given the extra portion of sorted potatoes that they'd already gotten the order wrong with. When I asked for a discount on my order I was told it would be sorted only to have the chef come out with the same size/type of pizza I'd complained about. After asking for the manager I was told they were not on the premises and then after being told the problem would be resolved on my bill was still charged the full price. This is the 2nd time at this establishment and both times been dissatisfied.

First time visiting this restaurant. Made a booking at Casa Mia, checked reviews and menu, reviews were good , menu looked very nice and appealing. We booked for Friday evening. Found restaurant got parking in the tiny rear car park. We entered the restaurant all excited, met a lovely waiter who escorted to our seats. We were showed the restaurant specials menu also the standard menu, lots to choose from as the menu is extensive. After deciding what we wanted we ordered our food. We had the sea food starter which really tasty and nice, this set the mood for our main meals, I ordered Kleftico and my wife ordered the Gyro. The meals came out to our table the gyro looked great. The Kleftico was a bone with meat on it in some sort of sauce , didn’t taste any good! The bone with meat on was not Kleftico as I have had it multiple times , I had iKlefric because the waiter recommended it. The meat tasted like it was going off I only cut a little piece off to try it. The gyro meat was chicken but dry . I explained to the waiter my dissatisfaction, he apologised immediately, like he was used to apologising, he took the Kleftico away and offered me a replacement meal, I chose tagliatelle marinara , this came out and again the dish looked nice , went to eat this , the pasta was over cooked and stodgy . Our drinks were served in glasses , (pin-a colada). We left the food and asked for the bill . The waitress asked if everything was okay, we made our excuses. The waiter sent over the bill , he was charging us for the Kleftico he had taken away and replaced stating he wanted to correct the meal. When asked he proceeded to take the Kleftico off the bill. It’s not about the money , as we always pay our way. It was our anniversary and I was very excited about it, as it was just us and not the rest of our family ( glad they weren’t with us). We paid our bill and left. Why have I wrote this review, it needs to be said, the restaurant is beautiful, no doubt some of the meals are going to excellent, However when your paying a reasonable price for a meal I believe you should get FRESH FOOD MEAT ETC. I hope the owner reads this and makes contact as we are also from a Mediterranean background

My tempura prawns were lovely my rainbow trout was fantastic but garlic bread was hard & overcooked wife's prawn cocktail was poor her spaghetti Bolognese was lacking in mince my rainbow trout was served to me wrapped in foil still sizzling and I had to open it myself which was poor presentation even though it tasted fantastic we booked table for 7.30 finally started to eat at 9.35 which we did get apologies for the young waitress got better has the time passed but collection of finished glasses and crockery was just taken to begin with no questions of is that finished with asked for a shandy got a beer ....I am sorry but it wasn't the nice meal experience we were hoping for Carl I did book by phone & you have my number I don't do drama in restaurant that's unfair to yourself & the people enjoying there experience

None oif the food looked as good as these dishes iit ook two hours before we got any food, preservation was terrible and food was even worse. never ever again wouldi go there the staff where very apologetic and lovely but the chef needs to go on a cookery course And they need a visit from Gordon Ramsey

Parking was a nightmare. Dual carriageway and a tiny car park. There was no atmosphere for a Thursday night, 2 of us, and 1 more table, so dead. Food was average, and the waiter was so shy and struggled with conversation.

Went in for a Birthday group of 16, arrived at 7pm, Food order taken about 8pm by 9:10pm the rest of the group had emough of waiting but we waited and Food arrived few minutes after. More regular communication would have helped. The Food was Decent no complaints would have given it 4* if the wait had been 30 Min less. Was given complimentary drinks. Will be giving Casa Mia a Second chance just not maybe not in a large group

Brilliant from start to finish. Having read some reviews on here, I was apprehensive about visiting. The reviews that state that the staff and / or owners are rude must have been on about another restaurant. We visited on a Monday night. The owner provided the mist friendly, personal service I've ever had in a restaurant. She engaged with my daughter, she engaged with everyone at the table, was attentive, and bent over backwards to accommodate dietary requirements. The food that arrived out of the kitchen was beautiful, starters came out promptly, with fresh home baked bread provided while we waited. The hummus in particular was outstanding. There was a short wait for our mains, but this is to be expected for a table of 9, all the food came out at the same time which was nice. The quality and quantity of the food was very good, food was fresh and cooked well. Steaks were perfectly cooked to our liking. Only a few people had desserts, but I was told that the tiramasu was phenomenonal. Prices were good for the standard and quality of food! Will most definitely be visiting again! There was a service charge of 10% applied to the bill this was more than deserved!

i got food poisoning 😇 not good.. took an hour for food to come, waiters all in a mess, all running around, not a very nice atmosphere to be in, very dark and very odd music to be playing at restaurant.. food came and was subpar, wasn’t expecting such bad food after reading good reviews.. for the love of god don’t get the lamb shank, the presentation was disappointing!! ‘grilled lamb chops’ were boiled, and prawns tasted off.. overall very bad experience, wouldn’t come again..
