Fantastic Rooms with lovely views. The staff are friendly but the prices for drinks are extremely pricey.

Feel totally ripped off by this hotel, room Was booked without breakfast by mistake, this cost another £60 on top of the room booking, I’ve checked on booking.com for various dates and the room including breakfast, cost the same as what we paid without. The hotel reception staff would not assist us with this We were with a large party who spent a considerable amount of money at the hotel, the hotel can clearly cover the cost of the breakfast in the room price of £117 which is what we paid without, but would not budge, I feel this is totally bad form form this hotel,they could refund this amount if they really wanted,its just greed!!! Also be aware, they place a holding charge on any payments made, this is in addition to the actual payment taken, so theyve taken the £60 and they have been holding another £60 cost of the breakfast charge for 6 days now and have been told it will probably be next week before this is released back in to my account! disgusting!

Love training sessions here. Staff are professional, friendly and go out their way to make sure everyone is comfortable and welcomed. Today's training had to have an unexpected room change and staff were quick, calm and efficient so our session went ahead smoothly. This places is definitely on my stop over list as soon as we get a chance

Went for food and drinks in Barca bar, we were welcomed by Joe who showed us to our table. It wasn't long before we offered a drink which didn't take long at all, the bar was really busy and the atmosphere was great. The service was great and attentive all night, my personal favourite drink was an Old Fashioned that came smoked and was really well balanced. For food we both had burgers with truffle fries and were perfectly cooked. Overall we were really pleased with our visit and will definitely return. Thanks to Joe and the team 😊.

Very nice hotel with very good breakfast and helpful friendly staff. I had a great experience. Good location next to the connecting roads and 20/25 minutes walking to the city centre.

The location is not in the city center, so you have to take a ride to the city center. We stayed at three hotels in Chesterfield; This room is comfortable, the room is big enough, and the water pressure in the shower is good enough. I don't have to worry about no hot water in winter, or the water pressure is not enough. There is a small bottle of water in the room, and fresh milk from local farmers. The bed is easy to sleep on, big and comfortable enough. The room has an iron, hair dryer, shampoo, and hand soap. Breakfast: When I came back this time, the breakfast was delicious and hot. Quite delicious. There is free parking outside, which is usually easy to park, but it can be difficult if there is a competition or performance. We have stayed at this hotel more than 10 times and recommend it.

Had coffee with friends over and quiet and good coffee

Went for Christmas lunch..everything was excellent...food, staff and restaurant...parking plentiful...accessibility good...lift to all floors...

Lovely rooms, added bonus of casting to tvs in the rooms so you can watch your own streaming services. Staff were very friendly and professional, and breakfast was delicious. Would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic Spanish food in the restaurant and very easy to access.

Over whelming heat in the bar made us leave on both evenings. Forced to sit in the bar for breakfast eventhough there were empty tables ,breakfast service was under staffed hence tables not being cleaned ready for next cover, but over all would try it again ..staff were excellent in the bar.

My stay was comfy, bring personal shower kit.

Hotel staff were great. Rooms and location is very good. Bar Food is ok. Waiters where ok. Restaurant. Not the best. Food just ok Breakfast was good. Service was ok but not good. Had to wait 50 mins for food which I thought was long just for a burger. Went in 3 times and each time asked for a booth to sit at and the staff either ignored us or just said no each time. All of the 3 times there were plenty of booths not in use ?

Expected more for the price. Standard rooms, average service and pretty much an old industrial site location across the road from a Tesco and car dealerships. Don't expect any stunning views. Best for business overnighters or long journey stop off where the company pays.

A very clean and hospitable 4 star hotel. The service was great and so were the staff. The food in the restaurant was exceptional. Rooms are very well maintained. Overall, we had a great stay

Great hotel, visited many times for business meetings and interviews - whether you’re staying the night or now you can chill in the bar downstairs or visit the restaurant on the first floor. If you have a more formal meeting they have rooms on the top floor which you can book out in 4 hour slots and come with a selection of complimentary drinks and snacks. I haven’t stayed overnight as I live nearby but colleagues who have speak highly of the comfort.
