Came to York for a night and we looked for somewhere nice to have a family meal and this restaurant came up. We’re so happy we came as the food was so lovey and so were the staff. We were absolutely stuffed when we left! We can highly recommend this place if ever you’re in York :)

Since I discovered Casa Rodizio it became my favourite restaurant in York and every time I go visit my daughter, which is studying at the University there, we always go for dinner there. The food is fantastic, the best cuts of meat you can think of perfectly grilled, a great salad bar, the fried banana, the grilled pineapple and especially the best caipirinhas in the UK. But what makes this restaurant special is the staff and the way they treat people. I don't feel I'm a customer but more like I am a guest invited to their own home and they make us feel special.

This is a fantastic place to eat lunch, Friday Saturday Sunday. Their special lunch price on these days is £23. This all you can eat meat restaurant. For the none meat eaters there's a fantastic salad bar and a choice of fish. My wife is vegetarian but will have fish. She chose this option, said it was great, couldn't fault it. I Had the meat choice with my sister and her friend. You have a card each Green and red. Green side up they keep coming with meat, various beef, lamb,pork, sausage and pineapple. This is all on skewers. Sliced at the table. Value for money. Tea coffee priced very reasonably I would highly recommend this place and definitely go again

Absolutely the best Brazilian bbq I've had in the UK. Service is fabulous, several different meat cuts, all very tender and excellent taste, including fillet mignon!

What a fab experience. The staff are outstanding, attentive and friendly, with a special mention to Ben, our server. The buffet offers a large selection of hot dishes, with highlights (for me) being the pork ribs, arancini, cauliflower cheese, pork in black bean sauce, roast new potatoes, and MANY cold plates and salads. Large skewers of meat are brought around the tables and you’re given little tongs to grab the meat as it is carved. My faves were flank steak, ribeye, Brazilian-style cuts, fillet, and chicken wrapped in bacon that was incredible eaten with the cinnamon sugar grilled pineapple. The restaurant uses a red/green card system to indicate when you are ready for more meat (or if you need a little break). Being Northerners we had tried everything within 30 minutes, and we could definitely have taken it a little steadier! The servers are continuously coming round the tables so you won’t miss out if you have a little break. The staff/restaurant sang me a happy birthday with a complimentary piece of Brazilian flan. Perfect.

Andreea was delightful from the start to the end and service was impeccable throughout. The food is second to none and I highly recommend anyone to try this restaurant if ever you are looking for a place to eat in York city centre. Absolutely fantastic. Firstly a massive shout out to the staff. Really on the ball, polite , prompt and very helpful. If I was thier boss, I would be extremely proud. The choice and quality of the meat and accompanying salad bar was top drawer. We have paid double what we paid last night and not had the quality and service we received here. Fantastic choice of quality meat, wow , the pork belly!!!!!! And the nice unusual touch of the roasted whole pineapple. We were there for our wedding anniversary and will definitely be visiting again. Highly recommended.

We had a great time here, lots of options, all of it was really tasty, it is quite expensive so make sure you don’t overload your plate with buffet food to get your moneys worth with the meat!! Chips and sauces are included in the price which is good.

I love this place, it is so friendly the atmosphere is relaxed yet uplifting, staff are friendly and treat u as though u are family, nothing is to much trouble.

If you like steak it's a must visit place. The food is excellent and you get the chance to try a variety of different cuts of meat. There's also a wide range of salad and hot and cold sides to choose from. Finishing with the roast cinnamon pineapple is a great way to finish the meal.

Went for a birthday dinner with my partner. The service was absolutely impeccable and very quick, friendly and very helpful throughout the dinner. We had the meat option and was outstanding, the best was the sirloin and the spicy chicken. We ate until we couldn’t move and it was a lot of food for the price. Would highly recommend this restaurant for any occasion.

The service here was immaculate. You would think an all you can eat buffet would try to serve you slowly however the delicious meat was being offered to us so often that we were full within 30 minutes!! the waiters were incredibly attentive and kind. Ben was very hospitable and when he noticed we were eating prawns he gave us lemon wipes which was very appreciated. The cocktails and meat were amazing. Definitely will be back.

Wow Where should we start! Been recommended this venue from friends and Family that highly recommended us this restaurant. We have booked a table knowing they are always so busy. The manager greeted us with a huge smile and very politely taken us to our table, he explained us the menu and the concept very well and to detail. We were so please that we have booked a table, the restaurant was very busy with a great atmosphere. We soon dive into what I can describe a well presented and fresh salad buffet, so much to choose from, mouth watering… straight after go presented to our table some delicious well cooked pipping hot meats, they were so tender and well seasoned. Staff were on point and couldn’t have done more for us, the all experience was one of a kind! We are definitely coming back and recommending it to our friends, this place got to be the best in York. Give it a try, you will not regret. Well done to the all team and thank you so much for making this day one to remember.

I’m Brazilian and I have to say: hands down the best Brazilian restaurant I’ve been outside of Brazil - and honestly an outstanding one overall. Food is great, service is amazing. I went to celebrate my birthday in York and Juliano was so attentive and helpful! He really made my night. The whole team made me feel at home, the food was 10/10, and don’t forget to try the abacaxi com canela! You won’t regret it. A must visit (and I’ll surely return!). Thanks to the owner, to Juliano and to everyone in the team that made my experience so good.

We visited this the restaurant today, excited to enjoy the full experience of unlimited meats as advertised. The menu listed 19 different types of meats, but unfortunately, we were only served around 11 or 12 of them. It was a bit disappointing to see other tables being offered different cuts that never made it to ours. That said, the food we did receive was tasty and well-prepared, so no complaints on quality. We also celebrated a birthday in our group, and it was a nice gesture from the restaurant to bring out a cake and waive the birthday person’s meal cost—definitely appreciated! Service-wise, we felt it could have been more attentive and consistent, especially given the style of dining. However, a special shout-out goes to our waiter Ben, who was friendly, helpful, and did his best to make our experience better. Overall, there were both highlights and room for improvement. With some more attention to service consistency, this could be a great dining spot.

Had a brilliant meal here when we visited York! Ben was our main waiter and was awesome, very friendly and attentive. All the guys coming around with the meats were knowledgeable and very friendly. There is great options at the buffet bar, both salad and hot choices. You will not leave this place hungry! Decor and atmosphere also fabulous, would highly recommend this restaurant and think my husband may just drive from Scotland to York for this place alone! Been twice now, both times with plenty of children. The food is impressively good for what they charge. I'd go as far as say that I much prefer it to e.g. Fazenda, which is significantly more expensive. This will be our regular spot for when we're in York now, what a fantastic little place!

The meat was delicious well seasoned and juicy and came at very regular intervals. First time we've done a brazilian steak house and we loved it and will definitely be back. The staff were really friendly and accommodating.

Great food, fab concept. Huge salad and side dish offerings to accompany well cooked meats which are fresh off grill and carved at the table straight to your plate. Set price too and not rushed to clear you from the table. Lovely staff too

Been a few times, never disappointed. Bringing out meat at a rate of knots, tricking you with a delicious salad bar to fill you up. Puts Rio to shame. Went for mothers day, the wait staff added on a few treats which was wag above and beyond. Wonderful. Also the grilled pineapple in cinnamon is to die for. Avoid if vegan.

Had a great meal and evening. Warm welcome and quickly seated. Salad bar was great. Lovely to see the little red lily peppers. Nice one. The steaks were amazing, perfectly cooked. The chilli steak packed a nice punch of flavoursome heat. Sausages were brilliant. Only disappointment was the chicken, quite bland. Keep an eye out for the pineapple coated in cinnamon. Delicious. Fantastic service throughout the evening. Stunning food & great staff made for a really good value evening. Highly recommended

What a fantastic experience. Visited with my wife. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We have never tried this style of dining before. I would fully recommend it, especially if you like your meat dishes. Although the salad bar and side dishes were also lovely. Service was excellent and everyone was very pleasant. The seating is nicely spaced. So Although it did get busy you didn't feel cramped in.

Wow, if you're in York and you love your meat. This is a must. The food is fantastic. I had the Sunday dinner. Priced at £29.95 a head. The staff were fantastic. Just a note when you visit, there is a 10% service charge.

What can I say it was fantastic I was there for my hen do with 5 of my friends the food was out of this world the staff was wonderful and couldn't do enough for us all overall it was a mind blowing experience and we will definitely be comming back

Seriously, go here for dinner! Don't fill up with sides!! You think they might skimp on the meats but we were overwhelmed with the delicious meats of all different flavours. I only took a star off for atmosphere because it was just so busy and I was stood right next to a table queuing for the side dishes which felt a bit uncomfortable.

We've moved to York only a couple of weeks ago and we've already been here twice. The food is just amazing: the choice selection of both meat and buffet food is incredible and the quality of everything is top. The service is also impeccable, all the staff is friendly and they make you feel welcomed. We've had the pleasure of having Ben taking care of us both the times we've been here and he's just amazing. The atmosphere is relaxed, cheery and casual. We'll be back soon again.

We went on a fairly quiet night, just after the Jorvik festival. The buffet was one of the smallest I've ever seen at one of these, but it was all right. I said medium to medium well for steak preference, and for some reason, I was marked down as well, so the first few cuts were crispy but this was eventually corrected. Had to ask a couple of people for puneapple for my little one as they kept forgetting our table. It was all right. Not to best service but not the worst I've ever had. Love th8s style of food so I'd go there again

What a Great and Authentic Brazilian Experience First off, yes, the dinner prices aren’t cheap at £35 per head, plus a 10% optional service charge. While I personally think restaurants should incorporate this into the final price and increase wages, until that happens, I’ll most likely ask for it to be removed. However, on this occasion, I do think it was well deserved—the staff was excellent, and we were well looked after. As someone who is Brazilian, I can say the side dishes tasted just like my grandmother and aunties used to make. The fried banana, rice, beans, and farofa (toasted cassava flour breadcrumbs) were all really good. I highly recommend to anyone who has never been before: Do not fill up on sides!! It’s a rodízio (rotating BBQ) experience—just focus on the meat! I skipped the chicken options, as we wouldn’t typically have much of it in Brazil, but if you love chicken, go for it. The chicken hearts are highly recommended—don’t be put off by the idea! (They did take a while to come around, though.) The grilled cinnamon-sugar pineapple was fantastic too—definitely save room for that at the end. Meat Selection All the cuts were great, cooked well, and super tender. The picanha (top sirloin cap) and pork belly were amazing. Unfortunately, I didn’t get to try the garlic bread, as it didn’t make its way around, but by the time it did, we were too full to eat another bite! Drinks & Snacks Make sure you order a Caipirinha if you want a cocktail, and for a soft drink, go for Guaraná. Also, order some Pão de Queijo (cheese bread) and Coxinha (Brazilian chicken croquettes) when you sit down—you won’t regret it! Final Thoughts Overall, a great experience. Highly recommend!

Everytime we head to York we visit Casa Brazilian Rodizio. We all love it and there is a great choice for everyone. The staff are always welcoming and the food is beautiful.... well worth a visit if you are in York.

Group of 7 slow service from seating us, taking drinks order, explaining the system to then serving meats Good choice of salad/hot buffet Slow service with meats, our table was often missed despite all our cards showing the green side When asked for some meat to be a little more cooked the server said no pros be about 5mins......25 minutes later it was brought, felt they forgot and needed the waiter to prompt them We were not offered the garlic bread or pineapple and had to ask if there was any fillet steak as advertised on menu Not sure if it was because we was a large table but the other tables with 2 people were being served constantly with meat and they never went up to the salad bar. Sadly not worth the money paid for the very little meat we got

First time visit to this restaurant and this style of food / serving. Really tasty food, extensive salad buffet, our group had both the meat and fish options and both were so well cooked and flavoursome. We must have interacted with 4 or 5 different waiting and serving staff and every single one was exceptionally enthusiastic and friendly! Just wish we lived closer to York to come again!

We came to York on a family break from Norwich to celebrate our 46th wedding anniversary. My wife and daughters completed the usual city site seeing and to cap the final night we wanted to celebrate with a lovely meal. We chose Casa Brazilian and it was a good decision. The staff were friendly, nothing was too much trouble and the atmosphere was electric. And the most important thing the Food was free flowing and delicious. We all enjoyed the overall experience and would highly recommend a visit to Casa Brazilian Rodizio.
