I really enjoy going to Cappuccinos. I always tend to get the breakfast fry (at any time during opening hours). The food is always well prepared, the staff are always helpful and friendly and the portion sizes are just right...a couple of things though. Sometimes the toast is brought out far too early for eating with the fry, and are quite miserable with the beans portion (I advice ordering an extra portion of beans). Aside from that, the food (that I've tried) is beautiful! I just wish they offered card payment too. Its a bit of a pain when you realise you need cold hard cash to purchase your order.

So, we just wanted a decent cuppa tea and a wee bun after a long, unsuccessful afternoon of Christmas shopping. Decided on Cappucinos because it was a local cáfe and we're fed up with Costa (just because its the first that we walked past!) and the rest of those chains serving up the same expensive, uninspiring fare! Of course, its after 4pm, so our options for wee buns are a bit limited. Decided to go for a dessert. First option, the jammy sponge and custard was out. Another customer in before us bagged that. Grand job, we'll go for the apple tart... 'cept there's just one of those, so I let my mum have it and I take the alternatively offered apple crumble with cream, because I don't like custard. Now, the place is lovely and clean and well laid out; and the staff are absolute stars! They were so lovely to us! ... Though I'm a tad ratty at my unsuccessful shopping trip and tend to harbour a secret snob, so I'm wanting to bail at all the chopping and changing... BUT, I'm also lazy, and for once glad to be! Because the apple crumble and cream was absolutely delicious! And the tea was simply the best cuppa I've had in a long time! My mum loved the apple pie and custard too...and I nearly had to stop her licking the bowl! The portion size was perfect and it was very reasonable... though, I'm not sure how much it was because after a good 5-minute - "No, I'm getting this" - style debate, my mum beat me to it and paid! All Covid precautions were adhered to (in case you're wondering)... and I would recommend for everyone to take a wee visit to Cappucinos when you want a decent cuppa tea and a wee dessert! Thank you very much to the staff. You rescued my annoying day! :) (and my scarf!) Thank you xxxx

Was in cappuccinos on wednesday with the family we had taken our mother out for the day. She has dementia and at times can be difficult. We were very impressed with the service we received from a waitress I think her name was Bernie she took great patience with our mum chatted to her and even wrapped up her scone so she could take it home. The food and service we received was amazing we will diffinelty be back again highly recommend

Popped in once again, this time two adults and two 6 year olds. For £22 got fish and chips, two children's lasagne and chips and one cottage pie meal. washed it down with two hot chocolates, coke and coffee. Food was of excellent standard, staff very friendly and place shining like a new pin. Have never been disappointed in this restaurant and as one knows-"eat with the locals, they know best!"

I popped in for a panini before getting the bus and it was great. They make it up with whatever you'd like and the staff were friendly. I agree with review below, lots of elderly people using the cafe and the staff were talking to them by name - such a lovely thing to see and definitely has a community vibe.

Dropped in here quite a few times and must say value for money based on a basic food menu. Staff friendly but what is nice to see is a lot of elderly people use this place for their daily eats and the staff are very good to them. Not the swankiest of places but food and atmosphere outstrip some of the classier places. Full breakfast, cottage pie, sausage roll and beans for a 4 year old plus fruit juice and 2 coffees -less than £15 and a sweetie lolly thrown in for good measure. Hard to beat and only 30 seconds from the bus depot.

It's simple. Cappuccinos do a good, clean, simple cooked breakfast. Perfect egg, quality sausage and bacon, soda bread, potato bread, beans and toast. With orange juice and tea/coffee. Served promptly by friendly and professional staff. And all under four pounds!!! You won't find better. Remember to tip!

Supposed to be a special birthday dinner. Firstly an inexperienced waitress spilled red wine all over my niece. She didn't even have the grace to apologize. The food was hit and miss...some good some not so. If you have any dietary requirements I would beware as we were lied to by the kitchen. All in all an overpriced and very unsatisfactory experience
