Had a very long wait time, the lady behind the till was very good at her job though, food was just OK

I ordered food for delivery, the chips tasted dry and steal even when I covered them in sauce. Salt and chilli Chicken was hard and had no taste the rice also was over cooked. My partner had asked for no veg on the chicken due to me having an allergy to onion tho our food came with veg on it. Also received boiled rice instead of fried rice. I am disappointed as the Chinese is raved about for the price I won’t be back if this is the food I’ll receive. I did ring up and all that was said was the food can’t be steal or cold as it’s made fresh and about the veg the cooks could only say sorry and was told my name is in the book for a free meal.

First time trying here, thoroughly enjoyed. Be back again

Tried Canton after being disappointed by our normal local Chinese takeaway which has gone downhill unfortunately. Very impressed with canton so a new long term customer hopefully if they keep same standards. Girl on phone polite and friendly, food on time, gave price on phone without asking, everything great quality. My new favourite Chinese takeaway.

This is my 3rd visit to Canton and another fabulous meal. Staff very helpful food best I have had in ages.

Every time I go card machine not working or away getting fixed. Everyone being encouraged to use card where possible you would think Canton would ensure card machine is available. Food disappointing - we usually go couple times a week and food usually great but tonight was below average. Maybe chef having an off night which can happen but we have decided to give it a miss for a while. Gave me fried rice instead of boiled which I ordered but by the time I would have taken it back and got right rice food would have been cold. Thank you for your reply but I did not leave review to seek any recompense - merely to advise of disappointing meals - I appreciate your offer but we have decided just to not order again for a while. Food honestly was very poor tonight, very stodgy and chicken tasted a bit funny. Really put us off - hard to understand as food is usually very good.

I absolutely love the food from Canton. I have a gluten intolerance and they can do food I can eat. I particularly enjoy the satay sauce. I would recommend them - best Asian food in Ards.

Very disappointed. Ordered special fried rice which comes with gravy. Food arrived within 20 minutes but surprisingly it could have been warmer. The meal fell onto my plate from the carton in a congealed lump! The chicken was clearly water bulked, the rice stuck together and was very stodgy. I consumed a quarter of the food and put the rest in the bin. Never again...
