Canal view cafe in Neath Port Talbot

The venue is 🤠 Country themed and so beautiful, beautiful log fire and warm friendly welcome by staff and the owners. The food is incredible, huge portions and absolutely delicious.. will definitely be returning and can totally understand why I saw so many “regulars” there, including the furry kind that have their own food/water station🤠

As always lovely meal friendly staff and lovely surroundings myself and friends love meeting up there it's our favourite place to go

Honestly, 5 stars isn't enough! If you've not been here then you need a trip! Where the start....the staff- literally the happiest, friendliest and hard working staff over seen; nothing is touch to ask and you feel like they genuinely want to be at work! The food- outstanding! Best brekkie around! Lots of choice, all freshly cooked and really good value for money. Atmosphere- like above- the staff make the place welcoming and fun. The Ranch is ALWAYS clean, food is always fresh and there are always customers there natter what time of day! We also went recently for Supper with Santa, where the elves danced, Grunch was on the loose and a lovely trip to a big old bus to see Santa and Mrs Claus- all while eating a banging turkey curry and dancing the night away!!

Fantastic place. Service unbeatable. Food fabulous. I love this place. Even my little dogs were welcome and got free sausages! 🤣

Darren and Emma's place is lovely, good food, lovely atmosphere and welcoming staff. I keep going back every time I am in the area. Motorcycle friendly too!

Revisited the Ranch having had the warmest of welcomes when I was part of a large group of cyclists. Today I had my dog and she was treated to two thinly sliced sausages served by friendly staff. For humans the food is excellent value for money

I can highly recommend the Ranch , great location , great parking , food excellent , staff are so polite and nothing is too much trouble , it’s well worth a visit , you must book for Sunday lunch though , Wednesday on just walk in , super menu , great prices .

Lovely place! We were looking for somewhere dog friendly and the reviews looked good so we popped in and the food was great, nice space, dog was welcome but above everything the staff were absolutely lovely. They welcomed us, made sure we knew what was available, even fetched a little bit of sausage for my little dog! We had a lovely chat with the young man clearing our table and there were 2 young women working who were both also fantastic. The 3 of them were busy but still found time to be friendly and give great service.

Excellent breakfast but also really nice main meals also. Very friendly staff. The Thai Green Curry is beautiful

Wow this place is good. Without a doubt the best breakfast I’ve ever had! I had the grill house breakfast with an extra egg and i can tell you now I couldn’t move after! If you love food this is the place for you great price, great food and unbelievable service! Everyone was so kind and catered to anything we needed! Plus the added bonus of healthier meals for anyone who doesn’t have as big an appetite as me!! 10/10 would recommended to anyone!

Was recommended Darren and Emma’s Breakfast Bar and Grill by a friend as they knew I was spending the weekend in and around the Beacons with the family. Little did I know the treat I was in for when I arrived. I settled on The Grill House Special Burger and it’s got to be one of the freshest and tastiest burgers I’ve had in a long long time everything from the bacon to their own onion rings just engaged every taste bud. Their BBQ sauce was really nice aswell and topped it off nicely all surrounded by a fresh and well finished Brioche bun to really compliment the meal. As well as the burger they have a variety of other meals/foods to accommodate various diets including, vegetarians and vegans. My sister being a vegetarian had a Vegi breakfast and she couldn’t fault it one bit, im not one for meat free alternatives however even myself tried the vegi sausage and I wouldn’t of been able to tell it from a normal one, delicious. Finally my wife settled with a Chicken tikka toasted sandwich with brown bread, she loved every bit of it and was even more enjoyed with the salad and condiments it came with aswell, this definitely adds a healthier alternative to any meal and once again you could tell it was fresh and locally sourced. Overall as the title says I’d happily travel, from England, to come again and will make no excuses to come here if another Beacons trip comes about! 5/5* all day long

What a discovery! Magnificent breakfast and coffee, I had smashed avocados, eggs and vine tomatoes with crispy bacon, and a superb flat white coffee. Lovely welcome, very cool decor, and dog friendly, including a doggie sausage treat.

Went for breakfast with a group of friends and would highly recommend. Lovely relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff. The food was absolutely beautiful and great coffee, will be returning soon.
