Canadian Charcoal Grill in Tameside

Kebabs are priced at £6.50p Which I fell is a little expensive for the amount of meat put into them. Food is not consistent one week there great, the next there dry . Probably better using paprika in newton.

This shop was one of the very first takeaways in Tameside and its still got the original owner. There is no doubt that the doner meat is a high grade as is the lamb shish and the chilli sauce is without doubt one of the tastiest out there. The photograph shows the £12 Canadian Special Kebab which has Istanbul doner, which is far more expensive than the usual elephant leg doner meat served in most takeaways. The chicken is well marinated and the shish is served as it comes flavoured excellently with the charcoal grill. The naan bread is store brought but still tastes good. As stated, the star of the show is the homemade chilli sauce and I’m still to find a kebab that has better sauce. The owner still works there and all the staff are really polite.

Very poor pre made/bought in like processed chicken burgers , never again

I was told food would be delivered in 40-50 mins however the food was then delivered 40 minutes late and then was refused at the door don’t waste your time as they will waste yours.

The kebabs and pizzas are really nice but they are super stingy when it comes to sauce! I've never seen a takeaway who's owners are so stingy with sauce even when the customers asks for extra and are willing to pay for it

Been going to this place for the last 30 years on and off. Always been the best that's why I've always returned but since the revamp the prices have gone up quite high and the standards have gone down in my opinion and regretfully I will not be returning.

Decent pizzas. My partner loves the popcorn chicken one and I'm always about the BBQ chicken. Good base and crust, decent toppings even with extras added.

Best pizza in Hyde. The pepperoni and cheese are so tasty.

Penny pinchers....sause u get a drop, meat u get 1 piece cut into 10, been twice in 2 weeks never agen .... if u go I hope u have better luck than I did .... 1 star out of 5

Food good but delivery service absolutely rubbish ordered last week over 2hrs wait thought give them another chance its now been over hour and a half phoned and cancelled wont be bothering again

This place has been the best kebab shop for a many years, I just hope the owner reads this review as he only comes in during the weekend... Ordered midweek, the chips weren't cooked properly, it seemed like they fried it for 30 seconds... Nan bread was rock hard, nearly broke my tooth, donner meat was cold... staff was on his phone the entire time, when a customer called on the shop landline, he was very frantic with them, I was appalled... customer service needs to be improved and maybe new staff too... Also collection customer should have priority... and by the way stop closing before actual closing time.

I've been going here for years and had my first lockdown kebab delivered tonight. Oh my god it was gorgeous!! Hubby had a pizza which didn't touch the sides. Full and happy tums right now 👍

Good quality fast food and friendly service. It's the only kebab and pizza shop worth going to in Hyde

A sad shadow of it's former glory. Staff are rude, order is often wrong, phone is hardly ever picked up and does NOT take card payments. For a company that takes pride in having over 30 years in catering (established in 1969), this takeaway surely hasn't learnt much in nearly half a century of operation. It's a wonder it's lasted this long.

this place was here waaay before hyde was, giant hotdogs and large doners wi coke a local speciality after a night in town manchester that is cant stand hyde dreadful dump

One of the best Donner kebabs round these ends however, the portion size is very small and the owner is stingy with the meat and chilli sauce. You have to keep convincing him to add more salad and / or chilli sauce to your portion. The steak burger is good (high meat content) and this place has established itself over the years. Overall, good quality food (just remember to ask for 'extra' salad and sauce on your Donner.

I'd put zero stars if I could order 2 large kebabs on nan @9pm tonight got told 40/50 mins delivery. two hours later they turned up no apologies to us and they was freezing cold) wouldn't mind its a five minute drive from there shop to our house). opened them up no tomatoes on mine even though my hubby asked salad on both but toms on only one, I was bloody shocked of the size of the nan bread there that small it's disgusting.. WE DEFINITELY WILL NOT BE USING THIS PLACE AGAIN.. ZERO STARS FROM ME.

used this place for year's. recently the quality has gone very bad. donner not usual quality. it's the cheap stuff now. on my Last delivery, I specifically ordered certain way I wanted my food. I even rang up again to ensure I get what I wanted otherwise I can't eat it yet they get it wrong. they did the same thing on the previous delivery too. unless I collect it from the shop then it seems to be fine and i get everything. the worst part is, I rang to say of the mistake, yet they are so defensive and NOT apologetic. customer service is ZERO. not only that but the owner was screaming down the phone. until I had to shout and say stop screaming and listen to your customer. I have never come across a ruder establishment. unfortunately I'm not going back and with that kind of attitude they will keep losing more. absolutely disgusted

Love their donner with chilli and youghart sauce. Their meat feast pizza is a must try.

Best kebabs for miles around. Delivery time may be poor due to so many people ordering their food. Surely if they've been established over 20 years........ Nevertheless always better to go an pick the food up.

Took over 2 hours too arrive and the portion of each meal was tiny. Will not be ordering again!!!!!!

Joke don't bother ordered food for myself & kids waited 2 1/2 hours by the time it arrived my kids had eaten super and gone to bed. When it eventually came it was luke warm & garlic bread like cardboard. I rang to complain the following day very apologetic & offered us a free meal. Rang the following week for our free order & they said we can only have the order Monday to Thursday when they are not busy.. I explained we don't usually eat pizza in the week & wanted it on Saturday, they eventually agreed but what an overall bad experience.
