Camesas in Wolverhampton

Been to this place multiple times. Staff are polite and they have an abundance of a wide range of food.

Ordered for me and my other half tonight, we ordered a jerk chicken and rice and peas with steamed veg, curried goat and rice and peas with sides of plantain and coselaw. It was absolutely banging! I actually took the time to call them back to say thank you and how delicious the food was! Thank you for delivering to us with fantastic customer service

Finger licking good Mixed opinions main meals disappointing warmed up in microwave and Dumplins dry But staff nice, open late and red velvet cake was fire

Hands down the worst Jamaican food I've ever tried. Threw 2 whole portions of steak away. The lady sucked her teeth and give me a vile look because of what I did but it honestly looked like warmed up dog food and tasted like it too.

If I want Caribbean, I come here, even thou I live Walsall. By far my favourite. The oxtail is 👌🏽

The food is usually nice but this time the whole family has had terrible food poisoning. Food storage and hygiene practices should not be sacrificed to make a saving. Find a different way to make even by either raising the prices or reducing the portions. We have had none stop diarrhoea, really disappointed and appalled.

Food in the heated trays look like they been there for days, too much attitude for no reason which will not make you want to go back. They seem to change the price depending on who's serving, avoid.

Never had such rude customer service called to say they had no hake when I'm allergic to fish and ordered goat then called again to say only had goat like yea that's what I ordered then put phone down even if the food was amazing which it wasn't the pasta was absolutely disgracefull they put hot food ontop of a cake obviously got ruined never returning purely from the attitude of her get new staff if u want better business

I used to eat here when it was the Dutch Pot, then Aunt Sally took over , one day Aunt Sally her royal self-made a one off a appearanceI (normally she stay Bham) and I tell her that I featured her in the Black History Month magazine to promote her new place in Broad St. She totally dis me , nah say thank you or nuttin, cho ! So me stap eatin in disya place. Psssst. (SMT) Then Camesa take over the place, me so glad cos she treat people wid respek staah. I want to marry Camesa, her cooking is Kris. She always got smile for me, she is a beautiful woman. I used to dress up specially for my Sunday Dinner there. Her curry goat is banging, her jerk chicken is awesome, chicken curry to die for, don't forget rice N peas and steamed veg. Bless you my sista may you live laaang ! 😜🧡🌴😎

Amazing people making amazing food. This place is go to place if you looking for proper Caribbean food. Lamb chop there are juicy and soft. 10/10 place

.. Fried chicken with rice and peas, gravy and a dumpling dinner, was absolutely delicious.. clean shop, and friendly service. . . Definitely would recommend.

Not a lot of decent choice of food in the town centre after 2200 on a Friday but found this oasis lurking amongst the chicken shops. I had the curry goat with rice with a side dish of plantain which was delicious. There were only a couple of basic tables to sit down and eat but I suspect their core business is takeaway. The staff member was polite and friendly. Open until 0200 on a Saturday

The best food in Wolverhampton. I travel from Telford. It is that good. Camesa is also a very nice person.

Food was overly oily. The taste wasn't the worse but the oil was a major put off for the price. There are surrounding shops that id prefer going to after what I purchased today. Staff are really nice, the lady is lovely but when it comes to the food its certainly a no from me.

Was absolutely divine, I have the oxtail and pepper shrimp. I enjoyed it so I much I went back for more.

They look miserable to be fair...come across as rude. I said my thank yous and got nothing in return. Pulled a face at me just because I popped in to get a drink and nothing else...

Really rude staff. Make you feel like you should be anywhere in the world other than in their their shop, bothering them! How dare you be actually giving them money! Go to the Aunt Sally over the road, soooo much nicer.!!!!

I have a terrible food poisoning after eating the prawns from this food shop today I'm convinced the food is kept over night !

Good place for home made food, located in Wolverhampton town centre. Surrounded by multiple takeaways and restaurants. 1/2 miles away from train, métro and bus stations. Also there multiple stores all-over the town.

Terrible customer service, asked young lady for an order so rude and not the first time. Made me feel like I couldn't ask what was available on the menu. Typical and why some of these Jamaican food shops do not prosper. Only jamaican food shop in wolverhampton with such poor service. Staff need training as it discourages customers. So sad
