The inside is lovely and the decor and ambience are enjoyable. The food was average at best and quite expensive for average quality. Our waitress however was not great. She was obviously trying to get us to order more and more food so we would spend more money, which was uncomfortable. I’m glad we didn’t take her advice as what we ordered was more than enough for us. Our food took over an hour to get to us and while we were waiting she kept coming over to us asking if everything was ok with our food. I kept having to say, it hasn’t arrived and clearly we aren’t eating. In the end we asked another waiter to chase our food order and he then brought to our over an hour later. We ordered the steak medium and it was very much medium rare. The sides were decent quality and good portions. The bread to start, is an absolute waste of money. It was just a normal slice of bread that hadn’t even been warmed. They had run out of their usual bread rolls so were slicing up normal bread and hoping customers wouldn’t notice. When we highlighted this, they removed the charge for us.

I would not recommend to a friend. Our drinks and bread took at least 30 mins and came after the appetizers. The mushroom appetizer was strange and ate like a soup (no mention of soup on the menu), had to ask for a spoon…no foam in sight. Lamb rump dish had too many competing flavors and only two VERY small pieces of lamb, eggplant seemed to be infused with maybe apple cider vinegar and cinnamon - strange for me. The fillet was great as well as the halibut and gnocchi. For a five star hotel this was not a five star experience. I would skip it and go to The Tavern and spend quite a bit less but enjoy the food.

Such a wonderful place to dine for a special night away. The hotel is beautiful. We had a few drinks on the terrace of the great Scot’s bar taking in the beauty of the surrounding area before dinner in the grill. We both had the scallops and the rib eye steak. I have to say the steak was genuinely the best we have ever tasted. We thought our favourite specialist steakhouse was hard to beat but this really did. Fabulous quality and seasoned and cooked to perfection. Breakfast the next day was busy but the staff coped with demand effortlessly. The selection was fabulous and again, great quality ingredients. We can’t wait to return again. Thank you.

The moment we stepped into Cameron Grill, we were enveloped in its tangible ambiance, striking a harmonious balance between sophistication and relaxation. The menu was direct, catering to a variety of palates. We indulged in the smoked salmon bar, savouring some of the finest salmon we've ever tasted. Following this, I ordered a lobster and steak, the latter grilled to perfection on a Josper grill. Truly, an exquisite culinary delight.

Restaurant is dated, and food was below standard for a hotel with such prestige as Cameron House. All service staff are young, inexperienced and extremely disorganised. Although starters were delicious, my main course (lemon sole) was on par with a fish dish you’d get in a pub. Tasteless! Once deserts had been ordered it appeared as though our table had been forgotten about. We even ordered an additional bottle of wine that never arrived! And not a single waiter looked across or checked on us. Very disappointed and do not recommend!

Food was okay, service was fine for Scotland, but the atmosphere was off. For some reason they were blaring music at lunch time. It sounded like a nightclub, but empty of people and during early afternoon. I certainly can't say that I'd recommend this place. The food wasn't particularly cheap either.

Tried all of the Chinese takeaways in Clydebank and this has to be the most economical very large portions very tasty, with a choice of free extras after £18 spend.. all meals with prawn crackers.
