Cafe India in West Dunbartonshire

Had food from here last night ,been up all night vomiting, my daughter felt sick to, won't be back .

An excellent take away outlet in Alexandria. They will home deliver food and drinks and also are available on some of the Internet delivery companies. The premises are wheelchair accessible and there is some unrestricted on street parking outside. There is a wide selection of products available including a large range of kebabs curries and pizzas all at reasonable prices. The staff are friendly and efficient

First time ordering from Cafe India. Food had a lovely flavour. Korma ordered and Bhuna. Unfortunately the Bhuna vegetables were I think frozen not fresh. I don't eat meat, so vegetable is the main ingredient, and this definitely let the meal down. Puri was tasty but again a shortcut taken I think as not prepared in way we were expecting. Some improvements would make this a good takeaway choice.

I ordered a take away from here. It was ready to collect on time. Great portion size. Great taste. Very reasonable price.

Heard good things, but wasn't impressed, pitta bread was hard, and chicken pakora just threw in a bag, where was the salad, and presentation. 🙁

Pizzas are nice but this is the third time mine has come with the cheese sliding all over to one side! Need to educate either your staff or drivers on how to carry a pizza

I ordered a chicken korma as I always do enjoy but this korma made me I'll woke up and threw up everywhere went to hospital I had food poisoning from there food would not buy another thing from there ever

Just had a bag of pakora very dry, no salad, no dip, unhappy customer😩

Possibly the worst chicken tikka masala I've ever eater sauce was runny bland taste but with a hint of heat,garlic naan bread was slimy i phoned them and complained told them I would never go there again

The team at cafe India do great takeaway food which is well priced and very tasty. From kebabs to curries, pizza and pakora, the food and service is top notch.

Got a takeaway from here for valentines day. This is our usual go to. Food is usually above average but I have to say will never go back here again first of all order was all wrong phoned up to explain then was told that we had ordered something different to what we actually had! Took food back as food was cold and they rectified the problem charged us the extra which would have been fine unfortunately when we eventually started eating the food. The the lamb dish was like eating leather so chewy and the nan bread was so greasy spent almost 40 pound all in all complete waste of money and a huge disappointment will never go back here was made to feel that it was our fault from the lady behind the counter and not an apology for all the inconvenience. The man took over and dealt with the situation very professionally but unfortunately food was very underpar ended up throwing food in bin and ordered from another place! A expensive lesson learned here.

King kebab, never would I get it again, worst kebab a have ever had, donner meat was like rubber, lamb tasted like it was marinated in pee and the chicken was bad tastless 👎 😳 just bad couldn't careless what they dish out I would avoid this place 😐

Last night we were in the shop to get food round about 11 1130 and we got chips cheese kebab meat and it rank rotton spent the day in the toilet been sick and dioherra me and ma mum this. Is. The 2nd time it has. Happend won't happen a 3rd time as won't be back also going. Contact environmental health as had ants and flies coming. Out the box

Poor quality expecially the donner meat it's thin as paper and pale as milk not cooked through properly all profits no quality and there attitude is rotten when asked about the standard of the food they serve

Tandoori mixed grill and chicken pakora were very dry disappointed ad the tandoori chicken is usually succulent

been ordering from cafe india for years ordered a donner kebab it was a bit messy with sauce and no salad i called up and spoke to cafe india and they sorted the issue straight away excellent service and the 2nd kebab was perfect

Best Indian food you will find in the Vale or Dumbarton, 1st class

Visited it on 25th May 2019 ,Waited way too long for my order , got home looking forward to my meal , it was barely edible which was surprising, use the place quite often , but no more .

Just got an order was walking home the bag burst at the bottom foned and there's nothing they can do but they gave me that bag

This shop used to be the best in Alexandria and we used to order all the time. We didn't go anywhere else. But recently this shop has went down hill fast .I don't know if it is new management or not. I work weekends and used to come in here after shifts. Now I can't as the times have changed and now closes at weekends before the pubs even close. Also menu has changed and things have been taken off it that we used to order. It's a shame. Food is always cold too. If you have a microwave then you'll be ok! Don't waste your money. Try Aladdin's in Dumbarton.

Ordered a chicken & lamb kharhi, tbh its the worst curry i’v ever had, lumps of chicken & lamb, no flavour, naan bread was think as a loaf of bread, never ordering from these guys again... 🤬🤞🏽
